Yang's Chinese Takeaway in Sevenoaks

Not as people say, got takeaway for my birthday and was vary disappointed prawn balls what prawns, way too much ginger which over powered it. Chicken food yung my husband couldn't stand but one good thing about it our foxes were happy.

Yangs has become our regular for Chinese takeaway. Very quick and efficient service and reasonably priced. Food is flavoursome without being oily and they accommodated changes to their dishes (less salt in our case. Soups and rice dishes are great as is broccoli in garlic.

Reliably great food which is always ready and piping hot. The lady is always friendly too. I would recommend this Take Away every time

One if the best takeaways locally and very reasonably priced . Big portions to enjoy and very cheap delivery service . All in all excellent brilliant staff very friendly and helpful .

Had a takeaway with my partner here and we were both amazed at what we got. We ordered a set meal for 2 people which was around £12 or so each, and the portion size was HUGE! We ordered an extra dish or 2 on the side as we were not sure how it was going to be, but we were really blown away as to how much food there was and how good the food was for the price we paid. They also deliver which is very rare for a Chinese takeaway. Cannot recommend this enough for a lovely and great price chinese in Sevenoaks.

Professional & pleasant welcome. Used to buy from. here regularly on way home from work but not been for a while, agree with others, portions are very generous. Crispy Duck was really delicious but only 5 pancakes given instead of 6 we were told we would get for the size of the duck & cucumber & spring onion were “very tired”. Chicken dish was rather bland but Prawn dish plentiful & tasty. Would not rush back but will probably try again as from recent experience this possibly is the best in the area.

We use Yangs regularly and are never disappointed. It's the best takeaway in Sevenoaks. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely return

Not tried for 3 years as had bad experience last time . Well what can I say ,best Chinese I've ever eaten ,and I've eaten in a lot of great places .not a bit of grease in site ,cooked to perfection,chilli beef was amazing ,chilli salt chicken was incredible, Singapore noodles well jammed with huge prawns all meats and the most amazing rice noodles. I can't recommend this place enough . I'll definitely be back regularly.good luck Joseph and the lovely lady on the phone . 5 stars all day long

Terrible food rotten raw meat in chow main I put it in the dust bin total rubbish rotten will make you ill avoid upset My tummy

Can’t believe we’ve finally found a Chinese delivery in Sevenoaks! We are over the moon 😂. Really nice takeaway, ordered quite a few dishes and they were all lovely and arrived 20 minutes early 😊

The food was great, as well as the prices. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Very nice food, decent portions and generous with the sweet and sour. Lovely rice, chicken balls and chow mien. Free prawn crackers. Only criticism is the duck wasn’t really shredded it was a whole leg, still tasted very fresh and good though.

I like to give a takeaway 3 strikes before ruling it out and, sadly, Yang's is now out. The first takeaway was more like a microwave meal, the second was average and the third tonight was worth only about a quarter of its price. I am so sad to write this as before their refurb, dolphin fish bar was my favourite place to go.I'm sorry!

Had my forth takeaway from Yang`s , the food is fantastic , I very rarely write reviews on takeaways but this is good very good , the chef is new and really knows what people would like ,the menu says it all , I would say it is high class restaurant food from a takeaway if you like good quality chinese food this is well worth a visit .

Good place for a nice bit of fried haddock! The pies here are real nice. Sometimes find the chips not to be quiet how I like them, but I’d definitely recommend giving it a go!

Thankfully this place has undergone some major changes for the better now it is called Yangs. Previously the food was dire and was some of the worst Chinese food I’d ever experienced. Now it is excellent. Good sized portions, all very fresh and tasty and well priced. The beef chow Mein was especially good with lots of very tender beef, the ribs and sweet & sour pork were also both very good. Will be back!

What a improvement from the side by side , fish n chips and Chinese. Now it's just a Chinese take away seems to be better quality . Indulged twice since it's been open and both times have been very nice. No one can beat the sun doo in the high st , but this place beats on price

Joseph has run this place for over 20 years but has now dropped the fish and chips business and is concentrating on Chinese takeaway. I have visited them twice in the last couple of weeks, and each time the food has been of high quality, and the portions plentiful. I have never seen such huge pancake rolls! The sweetcorn and chicken soup was tasty, and all the main course dishes we have so far sampled were very good.

Called in tonight ordered two large cod and chips . Drove down to Sevenoaks station to eat them. Now where to start opening them up to find the so called large cod wasn't much bigger than my mobile phone and had no more than 30 chips which in my opinion had been either reheated or had been cooked a week ago and at over £7 a portion I think its disgusting I think the owners should take a very hard look at what they are charging for but obviously not delivering. My advice is use the fish and chip shop just up from bat and ball traffic lights. Never again and neither should you

Excelente experiencia aquí. Teníamos el pescado y las patatas fritas, que estaban crujientes y recién hechas y muy suculentos. También tuvimos la de Singapur y el arroz frito el arroz frito especial. Ambos estaban bien hechas (como los asiáticos, tenemos unos estándares bastante altos! Incluso el propietario) y ofreció algunos auténticamente Aceite Hong Kong chili! Todo estaba sabroso y una envoltura perfecta para nuestra visita a Sevenoaks :) Gracias Pescado Bar Dolphin!

We ordered food recently and really enjoyed it. The salt and spicy squid is delicious. Not tried the fish and chips but it looks good!

Very clean and friendly take away service. They take cards as well as cash, which is very helpful. Food is always good with both chinese and fish & chips.

Fish and chips excellently cooked fresh to order and big portions,staff always friendly and helpful.Also a vast selection of chinese take away foods cooked freshly while you wait or phone in to order.

Both are excelent. I use it on a regular basis, probably every other week. for the last 2 years. well worth a try.

We've been going to the Dolphin ever since we moved to Sevenoaks about 30 years ago! Always the best for both Chinese and Fish and chips!

I always order the same things when I come here, so it is based on my few options, but they have the best fish and chips in Sevenoaks (always fried on the spot, so very freshly cooked). They also do the best spring rolls (comes in two and they're massive) and the best curry sauce! I also have the sweet & sour pork which is also very good. I would definitely recommend!

I normally live in Nottingham, but I was visiting the family over christmas. We use quite a few takeaway in Kent, and thought we'd give it a try.

Ignore the two idiotic reviews from outsiders, this is easily the best, and freshest Chinese in Sevenoaks. Great service, always friendly, if you like this place then you know your Chinese food.

Feeling peckish and don't feel like getting the cooker fired up, then you can't go wrong with an order of food from the Dolphin Fish Bar. We have used this takeaway for a number of years and have yet to be disappointed. I am a lover of Chinese food and will without hesitation go for the "sweet and sour pork balls" and "special rice" every time. It is well prepared and very delicious with a glass of good red wine. The fish is also fresh and well prepared and I am rather in favour of what we referred to as 'slap chips' back home in South Africa. Roughly translated 'slap' means soft, i.e. soft enough to soak up some of the vinegar and tomato sauce. Parking is sometimes a slight problem, but this would not deter me from placing an order with the Dolphin Fish Bar. The service is efficient and friendly. Having read some of the other reviews, both good and not so good before ordering from this takeaway before trying it for ourselves, I have never had reason to bad-mouth an order placed and collected. Will be back for more in the near future and long may this establishment remain in Sevenoaks!

Cod that tastes of oil - soggy quality. I know their Chinese is horrid but though we would try this - go down the rd to TOM BELL

Worse Chinese takeaway my Husband & I have ever had. Tasteless, slimy & left an oily aftertaste. Ended up in the bin, so don't waste your money. Visiting Family in the area, otherwise we would have returned the food.

This is a double fronted fish and chip shop with Chinese take away appendage. Purchase is unusual whereby you order, pay then await service. Extensive range of fish sold and as a rule larger portions than nearer establishments. Chips I found a little greasy.
