I took my family for breakfast. We ordered 2 cheesy parata one plain paratha. 2 desi chai 1 hot chocolate. 1 portion of chips and few cans of drink. I must say we were disappointed this time. The ommlette did not taste fresh had bit of weird taste to it. Seems like the eggs used may not have been fresh. The desi chai did not taste the same as it use to.bit bland and no sugar. I understand some people prefer no sugar. However the cutlery set provided to pour sugar puts in too much sugar amount. Hot choc was average. The plain parata was not filling and again not the same as it use to be. Chips did not look too fresh and taste was bit odd. Maybe they use different type of chips. Certainly felt like low quality chips. When we went upstairs the toilet room was locked manually from outside when nobody was inside. Had my kids with me and this was not good. Seems like they don’t want their customers to use their toilet facilities. Overall not a good experience this time. Disappointing.

Spicy omelette was not spicy spicy beans not spicy either paratha was not fresh after being told by waitress they are cooked fresh over priced and would not recommend

Chole and Puri is really nice and delicious. Food served hot 👌. Service is very good.

Disgusting attitude, absolutely appalling customer service over the phone refused to take name and stated she is busy and cut the call off, before an order could have been placed.

This shop refuses to take card payments and always asking us to go to the nearest cash machine. Make excuses saying card machine does not work. We are regular customers and this happens every time. Card machine apparently never works.

Delicious food at very reasonable prices And big portions compared to all these new chai shops

My honest opinion review Keema matter pre cooked one reheat in microwave wasn't even fresh lack any flavour to the keema curry peas just flooding in curry paratha crispy I had better ones desi tea over boiled in pot tastes like you get from local desi shop after lack any flavour to tea big curry let down only reason I finish the it I was hungry don't like to waste food waste journey I made to get to the place should have walk past the places for the price she charged me i should have been better Yaadgaar the boys used to be good back old days not any more unfortunately me I get five stars for finish it worse keema matter in long time I had unfortunately I have given you only one star no offence eating area can't fault hopefully feedback you improve the standard of curry

Great place, great food...always worth the trip.

The food was absolutely delicious! We tried the paratha, dal, and kofta, and they were all fantastic. Even though there was only one staff member, the service was super quick, and everything arrived on time. Great experience overall!👍

Disappointed with the halwa pooris. Too crunchy!

They have professional chefs made very delicious nashta. we all enjoyed chicken tikka omellete and chole ,poori, halwa , paratha and chana daal. thank you so much, now this will be one of my fav nashta for weekend with my guests coming over.

I dont usually leave reviews but i had to nice food, lovley and quick staff but above all the place is very clean, in my opinion cleanliness is a must when it comes to a food enviroment, the toilet was also emaculate

I’ve complained so many times about the pooris being hard and crunchy but my feedback has never been taken on board. Terrible customer service. It’s all about money making than customer satisfaction.

Waste of money on breakfast. Parathas were hard, thick and dry. Can't get hold of the manager when we call. The workers aren't bothered about the negative feedback as we've called so many times to speak to the manager and he's never available. Nobody has taken our number out of courtesy to say they'll arrange a callback! Terrible service.

I have been to the COVENTRY ROAD branch many times, with friends and family. Food is always a great standard. Absolutely love their halva,I always order extra. Lovely seating area upstairs. Lovely warm atmosphere. A MUST TRY if you haven’t been already

The Chana and Tarka Dal with paratha is 10/10 alongside a Karak chai. Service is a little slow but defo worth the wait.

My niece recommended me to go to yaadgaar and I was not disappointed at all. We ordered puri channa halwa alloo parata omelette, it was all so so delicious … can’t wait to go to Birmingham again will definitely go to yaadgaar. My favourite was the alloo parata. The shop is run by women and it was nice to see how clean it was. All the staff were very friendly.

A couple of very unprofessional young kids working at the til, no customer service, just ‘yes bro’, theyre mitai we had seemed very old like it was yesterdays, and the rasmalai was old and hard too. Add to this not accepting card payments, even though they have a card machine, making customers go outside to cash points, wow very unprofessional. Sort it out.

I ordered the toast with scrambled egg and cheese, and when I inquired about the cheese placement, I was told it typically comes on top of the beans. I asked if I could have it with the scrambled eggs instead of beans, but my request was denied without much flexibility. I then tried to customize my order by asking for toppings, as mentioned in the menu for omelettes, but once again, my request was turned down. I found this lack of accommodation quite surprising and disappointing. The refusal to allow toppings in my scrambled eggs seemed unnecessary and left a negative impression. Despite the service issues, the food itself was tasty. However, I was disappointed by the portion size, as my plate was mostly filled with beans with only a small serving of scrambled eggs. Came into the shop and ordered chicken pakora the lady counter was extremely helpful having run out she made fresh ones for me. Will definitely recommend and return in future

We had breakfast of curry pokara with paranthas. It was delicious, the curry tastes like my mum's home cooking. The desi chai was also amazing, one of the best chai I have had. I recommend this place

Great mithai shop, really good quality mithai. They also have various other items like cakes biscuits, samosa, pakora, sauces, drinks, kheer and halwa. Desi and english breakfast.

We sat upstairs for breakfast. The decor is nice. We had had desi breakfast which was really nice. I would defo come back for it.

I have paid 25£ for breakfast and we have served very old Nihari due to this soon we came back from the breakfast my wife and kids start vomiting. Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures but surely as I have receipt and they must have CCTV camera footage from the kitchen. This will be reported to higher authorities and local authorities accordingly. They are just gone to disgusting level to earn money. Soon they will get paid for this what they did with my family

Went for lunch with my family today. Food was good, as was the service - no gripes and good value too! However when I ordered the food it clearly says ‘Cash Only’ near the till. (You have to ask why in today’s age they don’t accept credit cards - I will let you make your own minds up to why they may do that!! So, I paid in cash. I would have preferred to have paid by credit card. When leaving the restaurant, I noticed that another customer was paying by credit card on a machine hidden under the counter. I challenged the cashier about this and she rudely spun a story about the internet not being reliable. Don’t believe that. I asked her to give me my cash back and that I would then pay by credit card. She refused. No use wearing hijabs but then conning the general public!!

Nice clean environment. Didn't really try the food, so can't say anything. Although the chai and vegetable pakoras thqt we had were nice. They only take cash payments, so make sure you have it. Or you can withdraw from the machine right outside.

Food was fantastic, well presented and packaged for takeout. Unfortunately I had to wait over 20 minutes for my order but in all fairness I went at an extremely busy period. 8/10

Had Paratha with Channa,Paye and Saag lassi and Karak Chai

Coming up from London I couldn't believe how expensive the channa is at this place. £4 for a tiny box!? What a rip off. Its more expensive then London. What's more is that they don't give you any extra sauces or condiments of any kind.

Food is ok but prices are a bit high

I had a desi breakfast which was 2 parathas and channa curry with Doodh pathi tea at a very reasonable price. I have to say its the best desi breakfast I've had at a restaurant. The parathas are simply stunning, thick and crispy, and hand-made. The channa curry was also nice. The service was perfect, really polite and friendly women, serving with a smile. What more could I ask for. This will be a regular for me!! Try it out, you won't be disappointed

Zubia is great staff and she has always provided fast service. I used to always be given tea cold and without sugar often, and many times I had to tell staffs but always complain. But since Zubia has been here, no complain at all and because of her I come to this place. Thanks Zubia sis for great service you give to us. 5 stars I've given for this great staff.

Lovely desi breakfast here -opted for the 2 plain paratha and chana side. Paratha were nice and flaky and made fresh. Dudh Patti tea was fantastic too! Well worth a visit.

I purchesed one orange juice glass. He charged me 4.50£ for small glass and put less juice in glass. I asked why its less he rudely told me because i never put ice. Seriously. Bad service with overcharged.

It's been a while but the chole with the desi nashta were not what they used to be, they also did not pack my order correctly and as I live half an hour away there was no point in returning for the missing items. I also placed my order over the phone so expected it to be at least double checked before packing it for me. Okay but wouldn't be rushing to return.

I recently visited Yaadgar on Coventry Road for breakfast, and I was blown away by the level of service I received. Had a desi breakfast here a few times now. The parathas, omelettes and halwa puris have been delicious made just right. Even the kids enjoyed their not too spicy chanas

Went there after six years of gap food is total waste of money as like last time order a nihari which came with bones they need to learn(YouTube) nihari is not made of bones and the dish taste like last night karahi left over on the other hand Chana masala was half cooked so totally not recommend to food lovers but good for selfies generation

Good sitting area and service. We ordered Halwa puri, Nihari with paratha, sweet lassi and desi tea. Nihari was quite good but parathay were too thick and halwa puri was average. Total damage £25

Apart from cleanliness, nothing was good. In Halwa puri Chana portion, Chana was served in a small bowl which looked like serving to a kid. Nihari is served with paratha.(who eats Nihari with paratha) and they don't serve Naan. Strange! Again Nihari was served in a very small plate as if serving to a kid. Moreover service was a bit slow.

good quality food. ordered aloo paratha and chai to eat in. service was ok, waited about 20 minutes for the food but it was worth the wait, besides which I had a take out order so didn't mind waiting. ordered halwa puri 6£ a portion which came with 3 puri in a partitioned container; portion for 1 person. also bought kebab rolls, katlama, lamb pasty and pakora. All the food was delicious and clean.

Went here to eat ordered nahari that was nothing like nahari was just normal meat dish with 2 small meat Bones & ordered 1 omelette and partha didn’t even eat half the food when a long black hair came out from the omelette got put off called the girl working there she took it at the back and came back to say sorry but we left eating the remaining food and made our way out to get some food from a better place will never go back

Ordered a full English it was average at best, eggs were overcooked, cold toast, some beans were hard, sausages were good and hash brown was good. Hot chocolate wasn’t very good.

Best jalebi by far, and their samosa chaat is great too. Overall good hygiene and lovely staff. 10/10 would recommend to anyone
