Xi'an Biang Biang Noodles in Tower Hamlets

We ate here after seeing a local play. It is fast and delicious. You can make reservations online, but they might not be necessary. The dumplings were great as were the beef noodles, seaweed salad, and cucumber starter.

We came here after visiting Covent Garden. The food was incredibly tasty and the price was good. Probably the best meal we had in our 10 days in UK. ironic it was not British food!

Unassuming from the outside, Pleasantly surprised and totally delighted I chose to stop for a quick bite to eat whilst staying in this part of London for a night. Great spot for delicious noodles. Probably the most cost effective meal you'll find in Covent garden. We dined before the Lion King which is about 400ft away.

Food was amazingly delicious! Ordered the stir fried pork in black bean sauce noodle ; beef noodle in broth ; chicken in chilli oil ; pot sticker , which is actually gyoza . What a cute name - pot stickers !! Every dish was wonderfully tasty . Wished the chilli oil was spicier for my Asian palate ! Haha . But overall , loved it !!!

I can definitely recommend this place - the noodles and sides were excellent and the service friendly and efficient. It did though feel a little cramped - but it added to the atmosphere and I can imagine they want to get as many tables in as possible. It was also clean throughout (including toilets). I will definitely return.

Warning if you have allergies. I've been a customer since 2018 when it opened but after tonight I will never be back. I asked the waitress to check if there were peanuts in the food I ordered and told her I'm allergic. She came out and served the food and I said 'so there's no peanuts in this?' And she said 'I forgot to check'. I then had to prompt her to check, it turned out the dish she served to me did have peanuts. My friend then had chilli oil dropped on his hoodie, and the same clumsy waitress dropped the peanut sauce all over my handbag, nice scarf (totally ruined) and in my bag of Christmas gifts. I had to push to get our meal comped. The manager laughed at me while I complained to him about the risk of an allergic reaction and our clothes being ruined. The food has always been nice but the restaurant itself is very basic and the service is absolutely awful.
