Xi'an Biang Biang Noodles in Tower Hamlets

Western Chinese food with different expressions of chilli spice. The noodles are handmade on site. Dishes are simple and tasty. The spicy and sour soup noodle was a perfect balance of hot and sour. Service was efficient. Food arrived quickly. Be careful it could get messy! Two noodle dishes and a starter with tea came to £ 48.

Service is absolutely appalling. found a hair in 2 different dishes and no compensation, threatened by the manager that if we don't pay in full we would not be served again.

First time in London and it just so happen that this is close to the hotel. I loved the noodle soup that I ordered. The noodles was great and they are not shy with the amount of meat in the soup. The service was fast. Better than what I’ve had in the US. I would have loved to try the other dishes if I had an extra day.

Unassuming from the outside, Pleasantly surprised and totally delighted I chose to stop for a quick bite to eat whilst staying in this part of London for a night. Food was amazingly delicious! Ordered the stir fried pork in black bean sauce noodle ; beef noodle in broth ; chicken in chilli oil ; pot sticker , which is actually gyoza . What a cute name - pot stickers !! Every dish was wonderfully tasty . Wished the chilli oil was spicier for my Asian palate ! Haha . But overall , loved it !!!

I can definitely recommend this place - the noodles and sides were excellent and the service friendly and efficient. It did though feel a little cramped - but it added to the atmosphere and I can imagine they want to get as many tables in as possible. It was also clean throughout (including toilets). I will definitely return.

Warning if you have allergies. I've been a customer since 2018 when it opened but after tonight I will never be back. I asked the waitress to check if there were peanuts in the food I ordered and told her I'm allergic. She came out and served the food and I said 'so there's no peanuts in this?' And she said 'I forgot to check'. I then had to prompt her to check, it turned out the dish she served to me did have peanuts. My friend then had chilli oil dropped on his hoodie, and the same clumsy waitress dropped the peanut sauce all over my handbag, nice scarf (totally ruined) and in my bag of Christmas gifts. I had to push to get our meal comped. The manager laughed at me while I complained to him about the risk of an allergic reaction and our clothes being ruined. The food has always been nice but the restaurant itself is very basic and the service is absolutely awful.
