Ordered a coconut hot chocolate, very sweet, and not hot at all. The place was relatively busy but more for the ‘who to be seen with’ than actually good products. The service was good, both ordering and the barista were friendly

Fantastic flavorful coffee for connoisseurs. A lil pricey @£3 for a black americano but I'd always take this over a pret coffee for £2.65. For the extra 35p it's in a different league. The atmosphere is a lil non existence but you can focus more on the quality of the coffee.

Visited here early one morning for a caffeine fix to start the day. Have to say the coffee was excellent. It is located in St Christopher's Place BT far from Bond Street the station and Oxford St. It is not on the main drag but easy enough to find. The staff were very friendly and I opted for one of the batch brew filter coffees. It was vey smooth, full of flavour and no hint of bitterness. They have some cakes and pastries if you are feeling peckish. I went for a piece of banana bread which I had toasted and was very good. It is not the largest of places and seating is bench style rather than tables and chairs. There aren't any toilets in the store but there are some nearby. If you are after a good cup of coffee this place is definitely worth a try.

I was on the way to a uni trip when I found this little gem on the map! As a barista myself, I know a lot about workshop coffee so had high hopes!I kinda was a bit disappointed to be honest! It just felt a bit all over the place. As you walk in, you have no clue where to order your coffee. You just kinda have to tell the first person you see behind the bar rather than go to a till. After getting your coffee which comes with a nice glass of water, you try to find a seat...of which there are few. On the plus side, there's no wifi which I commend because it's nicer to see people talking rather than staring at their Facebook wall on their laptop. The coffee was pretty good I'll give them that. Workshop are one of my favourite roasters so they definitely did not fail to deliver with the flat white that was served. My biggest issue however was the price. £3.10 for a flat white? Is the coffee from a place no one can visit? Is the milk from a golden cow? As much as I love coffee, I would never pay over £3 for a flat white! Until they lower their prices, I highly doubt I would be visiting again!

I had 20 minutes to kill and it was a hot day so I popped in to grab an iced latte. Coffee is around the £4 mark and I had planned to do a bit of work whilst I was there. Upon asking for the wifi password I was told they don't have wifi because they "want to get as many people in and out as quickly as possible" and they "don't want people to stay". I subsequently perched on a little metal stool without my laptop and quickly drank my coffee before seeking out the bathroom before I left. Only I was then told there was no bathroom and was directed towards a public toilet down the road. The experience left me feeling pretty poorly regarded as a customer and they certainly got what they wanted in that I didn't stay very long and was out as quickly as I had arrived only with a bit less. There are plenty of lovely coffee shops in the area that offer great coffee along with wifi and a nicer environment to be. I wont be going back in a hurry...

This spartan, tucked away in a square, coffee house is clear about it's offering - excellent coffee and pretty much nothing else and on coffee it delivers in spades.Staff who have an excellent grasp of their offering, are at the top of their Barista game and the recommendation of a Cappuccino matched my palate perfectly,Surprisingly, they do offer a very small selection of food, which is wonderfully presented and my guest informs me his Chicken Avocado bun was a revelation.Your coming here for the coffee though. There's no frills, no relaxed sofa seating, no Wifi. They want you focussed on the coffee and the little extra in price is totally worth it, especially if you love coffee (If you go to Starbucks avoid this place like the plague - it would be like me giving someone who loves Blue Nun a bottle of 1945 Lafite, it would be totally wasted on you). But if you love coffee and want to know how it can really taste when it's nurtured and prepared by people who really care, I couldn't recommend this highly enough.Unusually for London venues this one does actually live up to its reviewed hype.

Small shop located in a busy area of London. Arguably the most exciting aspect of this location is the design: it has a very cool, industrial vibe. I liked it very much. The coffee was fine. There wasn't much to distinguish our flat whites from our cappuccinos, though, so we wondered whether the barista was new. Next time, I'd order something a bit more simple, like an Americano, to get a true sense of the coffee flavor and the quality of the pull.

The baristas here really know their stuff, weigh out each serve and deliver a perfect cup each time. You can sign up for masterclasses courses too if you want to make coffee the Workshop way. I did their Espresso Course one weekend and it was a great experience to learn how to make decent coffee. The other Wigmore Road site (listed on Tripadviser) is closed and has moved here, and is a bit harder to find tucked away in this corner but worth the trip. Decoration is deliberately spartan and on trend, aimed at a pitstop meet, chat, drink and leave. Great coffee, buy some beans and take them home, or one of the coffee making accessories they also sell.

Also, apart from their normal espresso drinks they do batch brew & aeropressEven though they still make great coffee I couldn't get myself to give them 4 stars as the new place is not that great.I can see they tried to go with a "workshop" theme for their interior but I am not a big a fan of the new look as it looks a bit ran down & cold. The sits are not very comfortable either and they also don't have a bathroom in store which doesn't make it an ideal place if you want to sit down.
