Lovely people, great place and great food.

We were in the area for a special occasion and decided on our last night to try Woogies. Well what can I say in one word Phantasmagorical Listen folks in and around Plymouth area you’ve got to try Woogies The staff are so helpful and very attentive Allanah our server was outstanding friendly helpful and suggested amazing dishes Amber the head chef cooks with love and affection you can really taste her passion in her food Full of flavour and tastes that tickle your taste buds for the next coarse I’d highly recommend Woogies trust me you’ll be back wanting more

Have used Woogies a few times before and wanted to give it a go in their new premises. We were a party of six for wife's birthday and starters, drinks went well. Then the mains. My Father in law and myself ordered a 10oz gammon steak and received a slice of ham! Apparently this is excess meat used after the Sunday roast day. Not what we ordered though. Bit naughty of the restaurant to do that. Son had katsu chicken and the sauce was really powdery, the chicken ok but the grease in the batter was horrendous. Wife and mother in law had steak that had a really horrible greasy film. I understand it had garlic butter however, that was just nasty. Also ordered salad which didn't come. Daughter had butter chicken burger which again was greasy. The chips on all dishes were so overcooked as to be inedible. Was offered a free dessert and maybe a discount on the mains. Three cookie doughs were great, one strawberry crumble excellent and sadly two tiramisu both gone off. We still paid £200 for the catastrophic meal and unfortunately rather than deal with the complaint so as hopefully not to happen again my wife was blocked from the Facebook page etc. Sad time really as local business needs folk especially during the quieter winter. Well you live and learn.

Probably the most unappetising looking ribs I have ever been served (£23), also the king crab Chowder starter had no signs of crab and consisted of 3 prawns, 4 muscles, and barely 3 spoon fulls of soup and cost £11.95 ! Maybe we were unlucky and had a trainee cook on, but the end result is we will never return or recommend.

Lovely staff, great venue and incredible food. Had the seafood platter and everything was cooked to perfection. Could not recommend more!

This place had friendly staff with absolute top notch food! We came in with our little boy and had a relaxing evening in a nice well run establishment. Highly recommend

Was very impressed, I have a lot of dietary requirements/allergies,so Amber the chef came and seen me and created something for me, which was gorgeous 🥰 I was out with my daughter and husband who's meals were equally lovely x so nice to have a decent place to eat in the village ! Came here on a whim and was not disappointed! After looking at somewhere to eat online, we thought we would give this a go. It was a little tricky to locate at first as it is tucked away but it is right on the waterfront and has a lovely view of the water. Staff were so friendly and inviting. I saw they catered to vegans so asked about the menu and they offered extra dishes that weren’t on the menu. The food all looked amazing, and the portions were large, I had to take the leftovers with me! Really recommend this restaurant, such a hidden gem! We will definitely be back.

We had the roast, which was quite sparse. We were the only people there. The service was great. The price was good

Great little place, got a very warm atmosphere where everyone seems close which is really nice. Had the meat board was absolutely beautiful, cooked perfectly. Waitress was really nice and so was the lady behind the bar. Will be back !!

Second time here in one week, as a couple and for a large birthday party, it's just totally amazing, food is amazingly cooked and all the staff front and back of house are lovely kind people, couldn't recommend this place more, amazing!!! You won't be let down, prices are good too thank you woogies!!!!!

We have had our Xmas meal here for many years, such a great place. Lovely people in the bar and restaurant, they make it really special every year. Well done Woogies 👏 thank you.

Food was overcooked. Also they had run out of macaroni for one of the kids meals but didn't tell us until they brought the food out.

Purchased a take out Sunday roast, it was amazing! Good portion, hot, good selection of vegetables. More like a Christmas Day roast than an average Sunday roast.

Awful experience, inedible food, and they lost our order.

We were looking forward to coming here for a while as the food looked amazing. The starters were fantastic, mussels and calamari. For the mains, we had the ribeye steaks, which were very fatty, not what we were expecting for that price. We also had the big cut of beef, this was superb. The only thing that let it down was the chips they used. They were awful little French fry chips which were all cold, rather than decent home made or even steak cut chips. The mushrooms were deep fat fried and the onion rings were store bought. In most places that's not a bad thing, but for the prices they were wanting, they just could have made that bit more of an effort with the little things that make the whole meal. I would love to try this place again though as the fish is brought in daily. The service was great and overall a lovely place.

Had an amazing roast lunch today. Friendly helpful staff.food was so tasty and plenty of it and very good value for money. We would definitely recommend woogies.

A hidden gem. Off the beaten track with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food was 1st class. We can't wait to go back.

We left absolutely stuffed!!! 😍 we had the meat platter for 2 and it could quite easily have fed 3 people. Absolutely stunning food. The sliding door between the bar and woogies was a bit of a hassle though

First time here. Very nice place with river views. Our waitress was lovely. Ordered roasts and both lamb and beef and vegetables awful. Apologies given, food removed and no charge made. Would try again but only for fish dishes or Chinese dishes.

Nice food. Would recommend - enjoyed the Thai seafood curry dish. All courses well priced. 3 main courses for £60. It just needs a few tweaks. Menus were a bit scruffy/stained. Chef added fresh chilli to a dish & that wasn’t detailed on the menu; given the one person of our party who chose it was not a chilli fan, this wasn’t the best choice But how would they have known?! Dessert menu was limited, some items previously shown on menu were no longer there. Buying drinks from the club next door kept costs low so overall very good value. Lovely views across the Tamar River to Plymouth.

Tasty food, the Katsu Curry was delicious, best one since we were in Japan! Scampi was good as well. Great menu with variety and excellent seafood and fish offerings. And don't forget the specials as well. We will be back.

Garlic on most dishes nut i dont like garlic so put me off. I had a sirloin i have had better. My daughter had a sea food platter but there was bits of shell in her crab that put her off

I called in for a take out, it was delicious, more than enough for me! I'm a pensioner, so the £5 menu is a blessing for me! Came for to try food for an event, definitely worth the trip. Excellent range of gluten free and dairy free, and some vegan options. Brilliant service, fab location. Will come back!

Had a seafood platter with lobster from here last week. It was so fresh and nice to see a small independent business using locally sourced seafood. Our host was Meg - she was fab and made an even better experience! 5 stars well deserved thank you x

We ordered meals for 10 for collection and the service was fantastic. Everything looked delicious and tasted amazing. The servings were generous sized too. No complaints whatsoever

Absolutely stunning food and incredible service. We ordered a wide range off the menu for ten people and even asked for an entire cake as it was a friend's 40th they called ahead to ask if we wanted it personalised. Cannot recommend this place enough if your live locally or are visiting. Amazing attitude and food that was delicious if I ever find myself in this part of the world again I will most definitely be visiting! Thank you to the staff for helping us out so much as short notice!

We came here for dinner back in November and it was lovely couldn’t fault it but when we came back tonight it was absolutely shocking and not worth the money whatsoever. I ordered a seafood platter and there was barely anything on it, the crab was so over cooked it wouldn’t even come out of the shell so I left there feeling hungrier than I did when I got there very disappointed definitely won’t be returning!

Attractive menu. Excellent, reasonably priced, beautifully presented food, served by delightfully attentive and knowledgeable waiting staff. I shall certainly be returning.
