Off for lunch at Katie’s Diner on the A59 near Sawley. As we entered I said “You’ve heard all about “Hells Angels” well we’re “Hells Granddads” which got a laugh from the lorry drivers waiting in the queue. Katie has a new caravan & they’ve made a “reet good job of it”, the food is “good biker scoff” & with a 5* hygiene rating it’s a real good place to eat.

Where do I start, new unit, very clean, very welcoming and the standard of produce, service and value is just outstanding. This young lady has turned this place around. You don't have to be s trucker, there was s lady with her children and an elderly couple as well as truckers all enjoying this amazing little find on my route from Richmond to Blackburn. Will defiantly be using it again and bringing the family. 100% outstanding
