We were staying at Woodlands we decided to go to woody's bar for drink and food but after one drink and a look at the menu we decided not to stay as it was to exspensive for us £16 for fish and chips and £4.95 for a glass of wine was to pricey for us but the place is absolutely lovely we have been coming here since the early 90s and will continue to stay

The haddock and chips were exquisite and the mushy Pease and tarta sause are to die for I'm definitely coming again

Went visited a few weeks ago for a bike night that they didn't seem to have accommodated for. Queue was out the door, and it was £10 for two soft drinks. We were told that previously they used to have an outside food truck for the bike nights, but that wasn't there, profits maybe? No rush to return, but would potentially try again if a food truck was there

First time there didn't stay long didn't use any other facilities so it would be unfair to comment further

Nice to sit outside in the sunshine and have a drink and a bite to eat. Food is good and a good drink selection.

Very good place to go. Only 40 minutes from home but go and stay on site a few times a year. Food is always good

Been coming here for year back when we used to camp.tents arnt allowed now so we just come for food now and then. This week we came for and early evening meal on the way to a meeting. Scampi salad £13 no chips included so I ordered a side of onion rings £4.75 for frozen pre made onion rings. In my opinion they are charging far far too much frozen stuff. The salad wasn't enjoyable at all.and it was smoothered in mustard. The coleslaw contains mustard. Can't say we will be rushing back. Shame it used to be a lovely place.

Great place to visit. Decent selection of drinks and food is good. We've been to a few of the themed nights as well. Lovely walks around the lakes and new kids play park make it great for families

Fantastic fish chips and peas had them twice while I was in holiday 😋 Very pleasant staff Lager was very good 👍

Can't fault the food or service, food was a tad expensive but we were in a holiday camp environment and you expect it

Great place for food & drink whilst staying at Woodland Waters. The family & I have visited here a few times after the yearly bonfire/fireworks night and have always been pleasantly suprised by the quality of the food and the service by the staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone in Grantham or stopping at Woodland Waters.

Had a beautiful meal, hubby had lasagne, I had pork with noodles, it was delicious, great service, would highly recommend it

The lunch menu is a good choice, to have in the middle of the day.

Had a meal last night we weren't expecting miracles we have eaten here several times and it was always acceptable. Last night some of the staff were quite rude they couldn't find our booking despite me pho ing earlier to check. It was eventually found after I insisted they looked again. We asked if chips could be swapped for a jkt potato but we're refused saying they had to stick to the menu despite jkt potatoes being available on the menu. The fish and chips were good everything else was passable. We ordered desserts one arrived then we waited 20 mins for the remainder. Lots of loud drunk people which is the norm and I have no problem with this I love to see people enjoying themselves but the language was really bad and there were lots of kids in the vicinity. It will take a lot for me to return again I would sooner cook in the caravan

Free parking if you eat at the cafe food very good had the light meals.

Menu shows breakfast on web but no they don’t serve a breakfast. Also says from 11am but that’s just opening time food is only from 12. Got there 11:45 and wouldn’t even take an order staff in counter really needs customer service course or just needs to learn to smile. Left and went to one up the road got what we wanted and service with smile. Won’t be going back!!

Just arrived and went for dinner . Pizza was lack luster tasteless , chips were uncooked and slightly crunchy of raw potato . In fairness they changed the chips but over cooked them so some were burnt.The male barman /server looked irritated I complained . We have two nights here and won’t be eating there again My husband had fish and chips and has been sick with dodgy tummy .

Gone down hill since I last went. the menu used to have some really nice options, now it's a very basic menu to the point we struggled to find anything we wanted on it. we settle for the burgers, they were OK but nothing worth going out for. Service was quick and the staff were polite. The first time I've been since the car park barrier system has been in place. was very confusing with little signage until you were right up to the barrier, that alone nearly put us off bothering eating here.

Great staff and food. Desserts are home made. Definitely try the sticky toffee pudding or the raspberry and almond cheesecake.

Totally disgusted. Was told I had to take my car to the bar which costs £5. Was turned away as I wanted to walk in. I’m disabled and use exercise to help. Staff turned me in circles causing unnecessary stress. Rude service. Rude staff. I will tell all that the cash is all they want. I’m local and ashamed that locals act this way to visitors. STAY AWAY

amazing atmosphere but ordered the halloumi fries. there was only 5 and bits of salad on the side. was also £6.95. very overpriced. but everything else was fantastic. service was good and waiters were very nice.

Heard about woodys so thought we would try it out and have a lovely drive to check it out. Weather great, site looks lovely, nice, clean & tidy. Inside is as lovely as the outside, staff great and friendly. Food and service spot on. Got to be a 10/10. First time there and a great first visit. 😎👌

I went to Woodys for a meal with family before seeing Dan Hadfield. The food was really lovely.

We just called in to look at the bikes, but it looks a great little place to visit or stop over.

Attended a wedding day and evening disco. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was amazing.

1st time visitor, carvery was very nice apart from the vegetables, not a massive selection just all lumped into one tray. Profiteroles were excellent though. Great spot for camping and fishing.

We met friends here for the first time for lunch today. We were in the dog friendly bar which suited us. The menu was extensive, food good, service quick and staff very friendly. The restaurant and seating area outside were clean and tidy, the outlook over the lake was beautiful, with many folk fishing and walking. We will definitely go again and probably take the dogs. A good find, highly recommended 👌

First time going there after a delivery. I ordered a spicy meat feast pizza and it is phenomenal! Haven’t even got half way through but I had to write a review. I never leave reviews! 100% recommend

Arrived to be told that no food service available as there was a function on. Asked for our parking to be verified and was suggested I had to buy a bar of chocolate to get free parking. I was there for a meal, not a mars bar an to top that off, im a type 1 diabetic. Mars bars for lunch is far from ideal. Should have had a notice before the barrier telling you not to bother in these situations.

Had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Staff very attentive, food lovely and reasonable value for money.

Quite a nice place to stop and have a break. We had a drink and a meal mid week one lunchtime. The food was okay, the restaurant was clean and service was really quick. Staff were friendly and greeted us with a smile despite the weather. The disabled toilet was the cleanest one I used for months as usually you find them with a wet floor and out of toilet paper. You get free parking when you use the restaurant which is a plus as the ponds are really pretty and would be perfect for a walk or wheelchair to get around and see the birds and local wildlife. There's also a camping area which we saw several camper vans using. I believe it also has fishing ponds too but we didn't see anyone fishing at the time we went.

Didn't eat here, just a coffee ☕ and spent the afternoon walking around the grounds which are clean and kept well, didn't have any troubles with parking just remember to get your ticket scanned in the club house to exit out.

Excellent touring caravan and motorhome site, lovely views and large flat pitches. Woodys bar is competitively priced with some lovely food on the menu. Try the hotdog, its amazing.

We ate in the restaurant. Really very good service. Decent food choices on all parts of the menu, excellent specials board. Reasonable prices. The food was excellent. Lovely atmosphere. Toilets (mens) need attention. Despite that we would recommend and we go regularly.

March 2023: Very friendly, helpful staff. The food was served quickly and presented deliciously on the plates. It was very tasty and the portions were enough to feel full after a main course. Everyone finds something for themselves, also a menu for kids. All in very nice surroundings. December 2018:Very cosy place situated in nice area. Had chance to have my Xmas meal there and the food was amazing. Be careful- some members of staff charge you in a different way (more) than the others...

Expected to eat in the restaurant but was closed so we are in the bar. Not ideal very packed and cramped . Food was well cooked and tasty. Would go again but not in the bar

Excellent food. Highly recommended. There are fishing lakes set in beautiful surroundings for you to walk around, either to build up an appetite or walk of your meal.

Went back for the first time last night. Not impressed. Started with a bar meal. I've heard of twice and triple cooked chips but not half cooked. Stayed for the 80s night and despite the staff being aware of a old drunk man harassing women they continued to let it go on even after complaints. Final failure when we got up to dance,. Coats etc still on chairs so clearly still there they cleared our drinks from the table. Time to go at that point.

Lovely venue. We went for Xmas day lunch. Food was brilliant, service with a smile and didn't seem fazed by how busy it was. Would recommend highly.

Xmas party was foxy but lively! Food excellent and even brought more tea out when requested after the food. Staff a look ways on hand to help which is a rareity on these events usually. Would defo go back!

An excellent Christmas lunch on Monday. We really enjoyed it. The log fire gave a lovely atmosphere .

The most fabulous fish. Batter exemplary. Huge fruit crumble for dessert (mihht want to go easy on the pumpkin seeds). Excellent coffee.

It's OK, quite basic. Wouldn't want to go there for a special occasion.

Poor quality of food was looking forward to the carvery. Very was apparently "Al dente" according g to the chef. I would say inedible! White roast potatoes very bloody beef walked out very disappointing 😞

Me an my better half had a meal here last night, I had the pan fried bream on Thai green curry & rice, it was excellent. Just had the Sunday carvery and it’s wonderful. The food is great and the staff are very friendly and attentive. 5⭐️ highly recommend

Lovely place with real nice staff

Fantastic place to walk your dog, fish, cycle. 5 lakes in all and if you are a keen fisherman, the shop is well stocked with everything you need. Restaurant was ok, good service very nice helpful young chap behind the bar. Very basic pizza (well cooked though), tomato soup was tasty but a very small bowl.. However weekday, and straight after very busy school holidays so perhaps everyone needed a break :) Good selection of drinks. Great day out, especially if you have children. Also camping facilities around the lake and a caravan park.

Absolutely love this place 🥰 it's in a beautiful location and the venue itself is stunning. We gave been here a good few times now after discovering it a while ago and it's never disappointed. Friendly helpful staff and top quality food with a good range from the menu. I can't recommend this place more highly and am looking forward to my next visit. 👌👌👍👍👍

Visiting Lincolnshire and called in to Woodys for lunch. An absolutely lovely meal. We had a very friendly and bubbly waitress. Well done team!

Bar and hospitality venue attached to camping site. Open to anyone. Inside a bit gloomy, but there is also outdoor seating. Friendly staff. We had beer battered fish and chips and enjoyed that.

Reduced menu from our last visit. Food not bad but not as good as our last visit.
