Went once and that was enough! Not only is the food cheap and badly cooked the meat had a funny taste I shouldn’t have eaten it as I was really ill after. Staff are pretty arrogant and have attracted a bad crowd of customers that are rude and obnoxious. Also when I was at a friends house that lives about 2 streets away so not that close, they play their music really loud til 2am and the local neighbourhood are really unhappy with the lack of respect they show and have refused to turn it down. So don’t support this pub not only is the food disgusting they are making their local neighbours lives miserable too! The council really needs to revoke their late license and probably check the kitchen too!

We were in the area and were excited to see this place does Romanian food so thought we'd give it a try. Bad decision. Firstly, the place is absolutely freezing. They didn't have the drink I wanted, fine. They didn't have the dish my husband wanted, fine, we both decided to go for the chicken sczhnitzel. I had a broth first which was ok, nothing special but at least it kept me warm. The schnitzel however was absolutely awful, it looked very dry but that wasn't even the main problem. It tasted off and sour so most definitely couldn't eat it. Felt immediately sick as I'm pregnant so the last thing i want is food poisoning. The waiter was somewhat apologetic and gave us a refund for my dish only, even though my husband stopped eating his as we were both so put off (his schnitzel wasn't good by any means, but at least it didn't taste off). Asked to speak to a manager (George) who was pleasant enough and tried to reassure us that there is no way the food was off (it tasted off to both me and my husband). He said the food is always cooked fresh, well it certainly didn't taste fresh. I asked for a full refund as we hardly touched our drinks, my husband ate maybe half of his dish and the whole experience was so awful. He said he could refund us for the drinks but not the rest of the meal, however he can offer us a free dinner. That was somewhat amusing because i absolutely will not be eating there ever again, but he probably knew that hence the offer. George was nice but that doesn't compensate for the appalling food. Finally, the place is overpriced. £14 for a dry, off schnitzel with two chips on the plate and a cabbage salad....you pay that much for a tasty sunday roast in most places. Save your pennies and go elsewhere! Worst Romanian food I have ever had...

Entertained family and friends there several times and there’s never been any disappointments with the delicious food or efficient, friendly, courteous service. I love the French fries and wings there.! A+

People behind the bar should take a customer service course or find a trade that doesn't involve customers, very unfriendly and not at all welcoming, won't be going back

Went there with a group of friends. Experience over all was good. Ordered fish & chips. Chips tasted great, fish was quite over cooked. Daughter ordered pasta marinara. Said muscles were a bit bitter. There was no kids menu, I don't recommend ordering independent plates for toddlers as dishes would be too big for them. Service was fast, food served in 15 minutes, for 2 people. Atmosphere looked nice. Clean facilities.

Saw the banner outside and decided to check it out. Great food and the coffee is free with anything on the breakfast menu. The door on the Tesco car park side was locked. For a moment I thought it was closed, but you need to go round to the other door.

A nice sports bar. We went for breakfast with the kids (4 and 6) which was a mistake. It's not kid friendly but you can get a decent cooked breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere. They use good ingredients at a reasonable price. I think it was less than £10 for a full English with free tea/coffee. Beware though the menu is limited and it's more bar than restaurant.

Went for a Sunday dinner change, the meal was lovely couldn't believe the size of the fish and cooked to perfection. However had to make a quick exit three tv's all on volume level 10, noticed only two watching one. TOO LOUD came out with ears ringing. Will go back for another meal when the tv's are on a normal level or off Food 10/10 atmosphere 4/10

Changed hands so many times. Popped in and I like what they have done. Fairly cheap for a pint of beer £3.90. I have had a breakfast which was nice but not tried any other food items.

Huge portions, low price, if you can not eat all, you can take your rest of food at home. Payed £ 67 and few for 3 adults and a kid, beverages included.

Irresponsible management, I had a reservation for a party, after some time I came to them to pay a deposit for that reservation and then to find out that my reservation was given to another person without me being called or notified about it. Be careful with them.

Totally worth the detour off the M1. We chose the Romanian style stuffed cabbage leaves. These were served with a generous helping of polenta, soured cream and pickled green chillies, really delicious.

We called in after walking the dog, so sat outside. It's a pity you are basically sitting in Tesco car park but there are lots of tables outside and in. The food was good as was the service. Staff friendly.

Hello, Just for you to be aware DO NOT GO AND EAT IN THS PLACE!!!! Food quality really cheap and reused from other plates and the pork meat was stinky. Had to wait more than an hour and a half for a mixed platter asked for how long was it taking for couple sausages 4 pork neck pieces and some chicken wings with fries. They tell you all comes from the grill, chicken was deep fried and the fries had the flavour of the chicken, i assume they’ve been fried in the same oil. Poor service, poor organization and the chef’s ( if you want to call them like that) were caught up playing in the kitchen instead of preparing orders!!!! One star is too much for them, unfortunately is the minimum to be given.. This is unacceptable!!! Never get back to them and wish to the people good health avoid this place.

We had a wedding venue at Woody's bar and the staff was very helpful and friendly and the finger buffa that we had done was fantastic we would recommend this place to anybody who is looking for some were to hold there function

Both the staff and the dishes are 5 stars! If you want to have a perfect day with your loved ones, here is the perfect place to serve the meal😘 The prices are affordable for any pocket, so there is nothing left to do but come here! Also at the same location there is also the event hall where you will certainly feel at home! As for me, as many times as I've been here, it's very hard for me when I have to get up from the table and leave.... Tried woody’s tonight for the first time and was very disappointed. The large donner and mixed kebabs were just poor and tasteless. Unsure which part was “large”... A few thick cold chunks of dried out , luke warm tasteless donner meat, thick chunks of cold dry chicken, a few lettuce leaves for decorative purposes together with a slice of Tomato and a chunk of cucumber and a very minimal amount of garlic sauce, inside a hard cold Pitta bread.... On a positive note, the chips were ok. Overall, a very disappointing experience and not one to be repeated.

Very warm and welcoming staff with very competitive pricing on both food and drink. One of the best fish and chip restaurants I've ever eaten at, highly recommend visiting!

I did enquire to the new manager about disabled access, and he promptly told me I'm disabled and must have come across this before, he was adament that he was not willing to make some small adjustments to enable this, it is not a listed building after all. Obviously he has not heard of the disability act either,

My disabled parents went in here and politely asked if there was any disabled access. The manager replied "No. I'm not spending any more of my money on this place. I'm not installing Transgender toilets either. " Not only is this a very rude and insulting way to treat anyone let alone a potential customer. My mother suggested a portable aluminium ramp that usually costs between £35-£50 that could be placed down when needed and easily taken away when not. He laughed at her and repeated " I'm not spending any money. You must have come across places with no access before. I'm sure you're used to it. " again not a way to talk to someone. My mum lives around the corner from here and was enquiring about a new business she'd like to attend. At no point was she demanding, rude or doing/ saying anything wrong.
