Amazing! Lovely staff and delicious food!

Absolutely terrible experience – twice! I ordered sushi set from this place twice, and both times were a complete disaster. The portions were ridiculously small, and the filling was some kind of strange green mush that wasn’t even mentioned in the description. This was clearly not what I expected, and definitely not labeled as vegan. The taste was awful – the rice was falling apart, the rolls were poorly made, and the whole thing looked sloppy. On top of that, the packaging was soaked through and arrived in a mess. I’m officially removing this place from my list and will never order from here again. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs. Updated my comment because the cynicism and complete lack of customer service here is shocking. The restaurant admin replied under my comment asking me to get in touch so they could fix the situation. I decided to give them a chance — everyone makes mistakes. I wrote to them. No reply. Nothing. For a long time. Believe me, this place does not care about its customers at all!

Absolutely outstanding food and service at Chi in Northampton. I am so happy I stumbled across this restaurant! I am a big foodie and this place meets and exceeds expectations. So far I’ve only tried the small plates but they are all 10/10. I highly recommend the beef rib and the beef tacos, they are out of this world. Not to mention the staff are polite, accommodating and friendly. I will be back soon! Thank you 🤩

Best restaurant in Northampton - you have to visit! We travel from Milton Keynes to eat here and it's well worth the trip. Food is always delicious, the beef rendang with roti is exceptional. Portions are big despite being Asian style tapas, good value and high quality. Staff are so welcoming and attentive, we can't praise them enough. The decor and atmosphere also spot on, 10/10!

I’ve been to this restaurant twice and each time I’ve been blown away. Amazing food, seriously amazing and delicious rich flavourful food. Great atmosphere, nice and relaxing. Our waitress was very kind and accommodating, she gifted us a free anniversary dessert which had happy anniversary written in chocolate. She offered to take various pictures for us to remember our time spent there. Terrific evening and me and my partner will be back in the future that’s for sure!

I went here with my family. This place is so nice and the staff are so friendly. I love the food here, especially Singapore noodles. This place has 2 hours of free parking so it's very convenient. They also have a variety of wines and drinks here. Thank you for making my day better I will come back again definitely 🙏

I went here with my girlfriend. The food was very delicious. I brought a cake here and they helped me prepare a surprise for my gf. They also have a dessert like a lovely little birthday cheesecake, which you can order if you forget to bring cake for your gf. It's a very romantic place. I would recommend you guys to bring your girlfriend here 😉 she will love you even more and more.

The food at Chi was poor. Small portions, and the chicken in our Thai curry and pad Thai tasted awful and it is over priced. Our waitress tried her best and was friendly but my dad had to ask for his cutlery 3 times and it arrived after his food did and we got our refill of water 20 minutes after we finished our main meals and had to ask for this again. The restaurant was spacious and decor was great and the owner/manager made an effort to talk to us and play with the kids in our group so that was appreciated.

Couldn’t have asked for any more, I came here with my family for my birthday and I was greeted by lovely staff members and seated. The wait for food was perfect and I was asked for the occasion of my outing stating it was my birthday. I was then greeted by an amazing dessert garnished with “happy birthday” in syrup with a candle and a very nice mojito which was also free.

I celebrated my 18th birthday party here and it was so good.We ordered sushi plate platter and it was super delicious. Vietnamese dirty fries was absolutely perfect, highly recommended. The staff also prepared a small dessert for me as well they’re very supportive and kind.

My friend and I come here usually once a month, the waitresses are always so polite, helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere is always calming and peaceful, the environment is very clean. I had the sweet and sour chicken and chicken gyozas, the food was cooked to perfection and the waitress made sure my allergy requirements were met and listened to, thank you as always! ❤️ I would recommend!

Me and a couple friends spontaneously decided to come eat at this place. The initial encounter was nice, the place is nicely decorated and has a nice vibe. Now…we ordered the “Grill platter” which was a whopping £70 without any rice, and the two plates in the picture is what we got😂😂. Honestly for the price, the quantity wasn’t great but the quality of the food was nice. We had to order rice as an extra dish.. and I still left half empty. I wouldn’t come again but I would recommend it to a friend if they don’t mind food sizes.

We recently visited Chi and decided to go with the sharing grilled platter. While the food itself was genuinely good—flavourful, well-cooked, and nicely presented—the portion size left a lot to be desired. For something advertised as a “sharing platter,” it felt more like a light snack than a satisfying meal for three people.

We celebrated my daughter's 16 birthday and everything was amazing. My kids love the ramen so much and all staffs were great and kid friendly. Would definitely be going back soon..

Really bad! There was a hair in my food and they mixed up our order which was dangerous as there were 2 severe allergies at our table. They then proceeded to refuse to take anything off the bill! They also brought our prawn crackers which we ate (as we looked on the allergen menu and they said they were gluten free) only to be later told they did in fact have gluten in. They also told us the “gluten free” rice and pad Thai came with crispy onions one (not GF). Would not recommend.

First experience I felt satisfied. Tasty food

We went here for our wedding anniversary last night and we're reassured by the positive reviews and breadth of the menu. Unfortunately the food was disappointing and poor quality. The Thai green curry for example literally tasted of nothing. We didn't want to make a fuss so we left quietly (not taking any leftover food away as we normally would) and unfortunately both suffered bad stomachs and diarrhoea throughout the night. No idea why this place is so highly rated. Huge potential but very poor execution. Ruined our anniversary meal and not cheap either.

I came here with my family for Mother’s Day, really enjoyed the starters. Customer service was on point we were served Phoebe and she was quite pleasant.

Food was scrumptious and our server was very kind and considerate especially since we had 11 people.

It could be a bigger portion based on the price.

Chi Northampton was absolutely a lovely place for us to have lunch. The place is clean, and welcoming, the decorations were gorgeous. The staff ( Ling) was absolutely fantastic she ensure she went above and beyond. She recommended some tasty dishes for us to try and I must say they were all delicious. The cocktail were also amazing, I highly recommend Chi 👌

Been twice and both times really Poor service for my experiences, always the last person being served. Don't get ne wrong the food is nice, but we're always being forgotten about and always have to ask for an update on our food or where it is!??? *Edit* sent an email out to Roxanne, no response.

We have been here a few times now and every time the food was amazing. Service is lovely and efficient. But bao buns, pork belly and Basque cheesecake were delicious and I would recommend to try them out.

They are relay kind and are really thoughtful , and they have quality food definitely going again! Finished the whole meal

A beautiful space and well designed restaurant that’s let down by the choice of back ground music and sound. Although the food and staff were great we couldn’t wait to leave. You have a premium brand that deserves to offer a premium experience.

Perfect for date night, with food so good you’ll want to come back the next day—a rare thought for me. The only downside was the sofa seat; I would’ve preferred a normal chair for a more comfortable dining experience. My partner sat on the chair and had no trouble. If possible, opt for a table with chairs for maximum comfort.

We’ve always ordered, this was our first time dining in. The staff all sit together at a nearby table so it gives everything an inclusive family feel! We complimented them on their relaxed nature of service and how nice it was to see them sitting as a team. They stated it was their manager’s ethos. Love this…more independent businesses should adopt this as an idea! Food is a bit pricey for the portion size and location…but worth it!! Thanks Chi team 💓

I add information on the box and the just eat told me that the box is there but no one notice what do you add there. In case of having good allergies or intolerances if you add some information on the box they just ignore that. This is dangerous and is given false expectations to clients

Just spent £47 on ribs, Thai green curry, egg fried rice and chicken pad Thai …. The food was tasteless, struggle to understand How they make the food look soo good taste soo woeful. Not even lemongrass or ginger in the curry :( Avoid!

Mixed results from our meal here. The ramen bowl was fine but was quite heavy with red chilli. We love red chillies but the amount in this dish was quite out of balance. The Shanghai noodles were disappointing. The amount of shrimp was ok but there was more fat then pork — dragging down the overall food rating. I suffered awful aftertaste for hours post meal. You have been duly warned.

Can’t believe I’ve had to write another review. After ordering a vegetarian dish and being served duck MULTIPLE TIMES, I made a complaint to the staff who said they would look into this for me. 6 emails and 1 review later and I still have not received a response. Considering we spent more than £145 I would expect some actual customer service. This happened on the 12th of October and I am still waiting for a resolution. Avoid at all costs.
