Woody Grill in Brent

I’ve been visiting Woody grill for a very long time but this has to be the worst Woody Grill site out of them all.I would only recommend the the one near Camden Town Underground station. Came here and was treated poorly. Food was over well done. Made the staff aware and they said is this the first time I’ve ever been to a restaurant. Last time I will ever visit there.2 sites in Camden Town are excellent and would recommend them but definitely not this one. The one further down would be an option but avoid this one. Bitterly disappointed.

My friend got a food poisoning.. fries over cooked and cold.. bun falling apart … My salad was bad in taste as well.. don’t go there!!!!!!

Got a burger with chips. The chips were over cooked.. the bun were old and falling a part .. the meat was sticky a bit. when i told the waitress she couldn't care less. She said well i'll tell the shef.. then we did't heard of her anymore. They all hide and afterwards came to collect the bill!!! Never go there!!!!!

Poor service as they were exceptionally understaffed. Falafel was hard and dry. Portions were big but quality of food is poor. Unfortunately it’s not worth another visit. Much better dining options on Kilburn high road including Anjaanas and Spicy Basil.

I've got to say I'm quite surprised by some of the reviews on here?! We went here after another restaurant let us down and so stopped just to grab something easy ... well I found the food to be really tasty and very generous for the price. The service was very good and we had bread and dips within minutes of sitting down. It wasn't exactly the romantic meal we'd intended, but we definitely enjoyed it!

We used to love this place and maybe it’s better during the day but it’s not same in the evening. First of all, the service is very slow even when there were only few tables occupied, secondly the “fresh ayram” is not really ayram and is not fresh, it was a watered down yogurt drink that a proper Turkish restaurant would be ashamed to serve. Anyways. Food. We both had lamb grill, well, it was like eating charcoal. To be honest, I was super hungry so managed to get a couple of pieces in and my boyfriend only has a bite and spat it back onto the plate (not very nice but he was super pissed off), when the waitress came to ask what was wrong, we told her and she just took the plates and walked away and came back with a bill. Never again.

Food was off and customer service is dismal. It seems they pay no attention to food safety or hygiene.

the meat sucks and half burnt half raw. it has no flavor. I advise everyone to be careful it is very dangerous to eat such a meat

La comida estuvo excelente. Mucha más comida de la que esperaba por el precio. Todo estaba fresco y hecho desde cero. La comida estaba bien presentada con mucha variedad. El personal es muy amable. Esta es la mejor comida que he tenido en mucho tiempo. Vale la pena detenerse a comer aquí. No se sirve alcohol aquí, pero muy buenos tés.

El personal es super amable; la comida sabe deliciosa. Pero el restaurante puede matar a alguien con sus malas prácticas: 1. Carne cruda: Comí una hamburguesa con berenjenas, pero todo el corazón era rosado por dentro, lo cual es bastante peligroso para la carne de hamburguesa. 2. Higiene: Vi a uno de los empleados saludar a un cliente con sus manos, e inmediatamente después tomaron pan con la misma mano y lo pusieron en el horno. 3: Alergias: Pregunté si la salsa de ajo tenía leche porque soy intolerante y el personal dijo que no. Mi amigo se sorprendió porque sabía que tenía leche y le dijo al miembro del personal que si tenía productos lácteos, me podía enfermar. Luego confesó que tenía yogur.

Vaya a por un excelente servicio por parte de los desesperadamente mal pagados y una vergüenza para Turquía.Había pasado un tiempo, así que probé el kebab mixto de cordero kofta y cordero y pollo shish, todos desesperadamente malos.Cómo se puede hacer un desastre con la carne a la parrilla es el secreto bien guardado por Woody y nadie debe experimentarlo. A la ensalada sólo le superó la hierba no tan recién cortada y el humoso sabor a aceite viejo y garbanzos en conserva.Solo ve a escuchar si tu única otra opción es morir de hambre

¡Nunca tuve una experiencia culinaria tan insultante y humillante! ! Woody grill en Kilburn High Road (el más grande ya que hay 2 en el mismo camino) ¡Ni siquiera vale 1 estrella! ! Salí con mi familia, viajé 40 minutos y me quedé en una cola durante 30 minutos para sentarme (debido a la campaña de comer fuera), lo cual a mí y a mi familia no nos importó. . pero cuando nos sentamos y nos preguntaron por nuestro pedido, mi hijo de 1 año rompió su menú, lo cual no me di cuenta mientras le decíamos nuestro pedido a la camarera. . nos lo señaló y le pedimos disculpas. Después de pedir disculpas, la mesera nos dijo de una manera muy enojada “por favor controlen a sus hijos” solo por el menú roto. . (teníamos 2 niños pequeños con nosotros ambos menores de 2 años que estaban sentados con nosotros en todo momento).Mi cuñada pidió envoltura de haloumi, la camarera dijo que estaba terminado, luego pidió papas fritas con queso que la camarera dijo que también estaba terminada. . los chicos que estaban con nosotros pidieron costillas, chuletas de cordero y kebab mixto. . la camarera tomó nuestro pedido y después de 5 minutos vino y dijo que las chuletas de cordero, las costillas y el kebab estaban agotados, lo cual CLARAMENTE no lo estaba. . ya que se podía ver toda la comida cocinándose a la parrilla y se veía mucha más carne cruda. . (sin olvidar que también pedimos una trona, que nos llegó sucia y pegajosa) y la camarera se negó a limpiarla y dijo que estaba limpia. Le preguntamos cómo se puede terminar todo, ella dijo que sí. . el gerente vino y dijo que la silla alta estaba limpia y "puedes irte si quieres". Dijimos que no queremos comer de aquí porque no queda nada. Todos nos pusimos de pie y comenzamos a irnos, cuando vimos la comida en el área de la parrilla le dijimos al gerente por qué aquí se está cocinando tanta comida y para nosotros todo lo que pedimos está agotado. Que CLARAMENTE no lo era. . ya que pude ver que toda la carne particular que queríamos pedir estaba allí. (También seguían aceptando clientes). El gerente dijo que puede sentarse a comer o puede irse mientras está de pie junto a la puerta de salida. . humillándonos frente a todos los clientes cenando y esperando comer. . Nos quejamos con él de la camarera y ella estaba muy fría desde que entramos al restaurante. . ni una sola vez, el gerente o la camarera nos hablan de manera amable. . también estábamos dispuestos a pagar por el menú que estaba roto y simplemente nos dijeron que nos fuéramos. . Al salir, la camarera dijo "¿Por qué estás enojado conmigo?" En este punto, estábamos todos furiosos y simplemente nos fuimos. . ¡Nunca más volveré a un restaurante tan basura y maleducado! !

The food was good, nice grilled meat. However, the service was horrible, we were seated at dirty table, twice forgot our order, waitresses complained about each other to the customers and badly understand english.

Visited this restaurant ordered our usual family platter (biggest one) however the portion was considerably smaller then before when it wasn’t the eat out to help out offer.

Solíamos cenar mucho en el pasado, sin embargo, nuestra última visita fue un desastre. Tuve un kofte de cordero que estaba bien y mi compañero tenía un doner totalmente incomible. Estaba nadando en grasa llena de piezas no identificadas. Al preguntar, nos dijeron que todo estaba bien y que solo sería piel. Il locale non si presenta granché bene e anche la pulizia non è il massimo (pavimento abbastanza lercio anche se siamo andati a fine giornata e c’è sempre giro di gente), ma devo ammettere che il servizio , seppur basico, non è niente male (portano focaccia e humus come starter)...la carne invece (agnello, manzo e pollo) è davvero valida e ben cotta! Anche i piatti si presentano bene sempre tenendo conto che parliamo di un fast food alla buona. Nel complesso ammetto di esserci tornato anche il giorno dopo!

Forget getting a scraggy doner kebab from other places, Woody's has freshly char-grilled skewers of lamb and chicken, wrapped up in pitta with loads of salad. Huge kebab around £7.90 to take away, but around £9.50 if you et in.

The food was amazing, the service was excellent, me and my wife love it. The price was not bad for 2 adults and two children.

Fantastic Lamb shish, perfectly cooked with an excellent salad and rice on the side. Hummus and bread for free on the side, and excellent meal all for under £10. Well worth it!

La primera vez que ordené aquí y aunque estuvo bien, no fue sorprendente. Costillas de cordero ordenadas que venían en una cama de arroz no deseado y que eran bastante pequeñas y no muchas. El arroz entró en la papelera, pero yo había pedido patatas fritas que eran grandes y frescas. La ensalada estaba bien, pero venía en una caja pequeña y tenía aceitunas, lo cual era raro, pero terminó siendo bastante sabroso. El pan era enorme y muy sabroso. Todo estuvo bien gracias a Uber, pero no estoy seguro de que volveré, aunque es más barato que en otros lugares de los que obtengo la misma comida.

Mi amigo y yo fuimos a comer pedimos comida de ala de niños y cordero kofte. Antes de cortar la comida, servían pan y salsas en la casa, lo cual es muy bueno, después de eso, nos sirvieron la comida principal, que es realmente deliciosa. Al final nos regalan té turco y dulce que es realmente muy agradable. El personal muy amable y el servicio muy bueno visitaremos de nuevo.

i went for a take away here and realise this is the McDonald's of kababs. Their doner kababs are pre cut so that they can make your wrap super quick..The downside is they are already cold and by the time you get it home, it's super cold. The salad comprises basic tomatoes and lettuce and is also premixed and premade. The salad mixture was one end of the qrap and the meat the other. scrimped on the sauce too.

Always tasty food and great service. Can highly recommend this place for chicken shish and wraps. A*

We went a group of 20 people on Eid day to celebrate with family and friends.

He tenido unos cuantos platos aquí en los últimos meses. Las parrillas son agradables y bien de precio y con ensalada, pan y hommus. "platos turcos" o comidas cocinadas en pantalla son también buenos (quizás demasiado caro para donde estás).

It’s very nice place if you want a quick meal. They food is almost ready and serve you quick. Good place for families as they give you free bread and dips. So I would go again and would recommend this place.

Fresh mediterrean food, lovely.home made hummus, tahini and spicy harissa. A feast fit for a king. Definitely worth.a visit and as cheap as chips.

Unfortunately there was no Lahmacun or pide which is usually a must when we go to Turkish restaurants. The main meal however (mixed grill) was nice. The meat was nicely cooked. We ordered freah orange juice too which was nice. It would have been better if they had more staff though as it was a bit too busy for just 2 waitresses.

I had my dinner at Woody Grill 2, on 9th December Saturday. Food was good as usual. What made this restaurant outstanding was staff. Nothing to was too much to ask for them. Very proactive service. My Sincere thanks to lady named Elena. She was really helpful and kind.

Tuvimos una comida allí cuando la cadena de restaurante al otro lado de la calle estaba lleno. Sólo aceptan dinero en efectivo para que mi amigo izquierda para retirar efectivo de salir yo y 2 niños en la mesa. Cuando ella volvió poner su teléfono en efectivo y tarjeta de débito en la mesa. Yo también fue a retirar dinero en efectivo. A mi regreso noté 2 camareras whispering, pero pensamos que nada de ello. Después de la cena, mi amigo no pudo encontrar su efectivo, pero podría encontrar la tarjeta y teléfono. Buscamos el piso vaciado todas las bolsas, etc. nada. No había mucha gente y sólo las camareras habían asistido a nuestra mesa. Fueron muy desdeñoso cuando les dijimos que no podía encontrar el efectivo. Luego se convirtieron en la defensiva y discutió y nos dio instrucciones para llamar a la policía, lo cual hicimos. Cuando pregunté a ver los cctv tenían varias excusas y cuando la policía llegó la policía me dijeron que podíamos salir. Este fue extremadamente sospechosa. Desperdiciamos 40 minutos esperando en la policía con un bebé presente y tiempo perdido de policía porque fueron negarse a dejarnos ir hasta que llegó la policía. ! ! En cuanto a la comida, les dieron la orden equivocada y nunca corrigió fue simplemente correcto

I loved woodys but not no more sitting eating at the table when a cocroch I see on the wall then saw more on the table I will never eat there again

Si buscas un barato abundante comida y te encanta tu carne venga aquí! Particularmente nos gusta esta rama ya que es grande y los niños y el ambiente es bastante relajante. La comida es bastante agradable, parrilla mix es genial si te gusta tu combo de pollo y cordero. El pollo es tierno y si buscas una mejor relación calidad-precio el pollo y patatas es sólo 7 libras. 90, el menú de postres parece genial también, pero aún tengo que probarlo. El pan calentado también es adorable.

Acabo de llevar de Woody's kilburn, después de doble control con el camarero que te preparan lo que inicialmente ordenados, acabo de volver a casa me di cuenta que lo hicieron completamente equivocados! Yo pedí un pollo shish kebab, no estoy seguro de que puede llamar que pollo porque era tan seco. En vez de una envoltura, había algo de pan en una bolsa separada, por qué no. . Pero la próxima vez que no rancio y ah lo que llamamos "patatas fritas" son probablemente el tipo más barato existente en la tierra. Tastelesss correosos,. . Qué experiencia horrible! ! ! No me esperaba la comida algunos 4 estrellas pero por casi 10 libras podría haberme preparado todo y yo disfrutamos de una deliciosa comida. . . mal. . .

Este sitio tiene buena comida sabrosa, envolturas, decente kebabs, llevar es un poco más barato que comer en conseguir pan pita y u chutneys extra cuando comes. Así que no está demasiado mal para comer de todos modos. Camarera rubia es grosero. Pero en general no está mal. "

Worst customer service I have ever seen in London from the blonde waitress. Which I really don't get cause we were very polite from the begging til the end, despite her behaviour. Oh, and it's cash only, or at least that's what she said.

Cibo non male, il pollo sfilettato al piatto e accompagnato da verdure è buono. Appena arrivati ci hanno servito del pane con delle salse per aspettare l'ordinazione. Non ci hanno dato bicchieri, non sapevamo se bere dalla stessa bottiglia o alzarci e andare a prenderli dietro il bancone dato che non ci hanno portato neanche i tovaglioli, li abbiamo presi da noi..... non male lo yogurt che bevono per accompagnare i cibi ma non lo berrei un'altra volta. Non accettano il pagamento con carta di credito. Prezzi contenuti, per due piatti di pollo con verdure, uno yogurt e una bottiglia di acqua circa 14 pound. Dovrebbero migliorare il servizio, decisamente carente!

I went last night 9th of December and waitress with dark hair was lazy and not interested in her job. She gave tea and ayran in dirty cups, twice! Skinny waiter guy in black clothes was very nice and friendly unlike awful waitress. Otherwise food is good but hygiene is worrying and needs improving. I don't like how waitress puts cutlery on table which isn't clean. Portions of food is getting smaller and smaller.

We have been to this place after a gap of almost 2 years. I agree with other reviews that the cleanliness is a big concern. The food is good and so is the service which is quick. If anything that bothers the clients apart from aforementioned, the wailing music and the Polish girls' serious attitude. They don't smile when complimented . Smiling staff is a big asset to any eatery. Careful with cold salads. Will check it out again .

The food was very good!! Our youngest is verynpicky eater and she loved their food. The restaurant itself is clean and our server was attentive and very helpful. The only reason we took a star off is because they are cash only. A little inconvenient when you are a traveler.

Delicious Tasty moist Lamb shish. Chicken and Lamb doner doesn't cook well in busy time which leave meaty smells. Good pricing and portion. Chicken Koft and Lamb koft are good too. Bread, yoghurt and tomato sauces for free. Good hospitality, very friendly.

Friendly staff, speedy and tasty food. Quite economical and not too busy. Toilets a bit or a state so take hand gel to wash hands.

Ate at Woodys Grill for a quick lunch from work with a small group of colleagues.The restaurant was empty and we first decided to sit at the rear of the restaurant, after several minutes the dire smell from the toilets became too much and we decided to sit by the front door.The staff were very friendly and accommodating and after taking our orders provided a later platter of warm bread and sauces on the houses. Between us we ate a mixture of chicken and lamb kebabs. Whilst eating I unfortunately took stock of my surroundings and noticed the poor hygiene and appearance of the cooking and service areas and noticed many flies zipping about within the chilled glass cabinets housing preprepared shishes. Within 4 hours of leaving I experienced acute food poisoning and learnt that a colleague had also had to pull his car over the return journey to violently be sick.I would advise you not to eat here simple. Since eating here I have heard of the previous food safety scandals affecting the Woodys franchise and I will never eat at one again.

So, the cooker broke down! What to do? Let's go to Woodies for a home cooked meal... What a mistake?!? Why has happened to this place? We have eaten here for years and were always satisfied with the service (even though it felt a bit brisk), the food was fine and the price for it was acceptable. This time, the place was simply dirty and unhygienic... We have chosen our usual - chicken shish kebab with salad, bread and a drink; as well as chicken leg with rice... Food was dry, tasteless and we all ended up with a stomach upset and vomiting... If that wasn't food poisoning, I don't know what it was....Never again. My favourite local became firmly crossed off the list. It's just awful.

Good if your hungry and in a rush but very poor standard of hygiene of food. good for a cheap munch if u are leaving a club and that's about it

Woody's generally are very good. Prices for London are pretty competitive. Recent visits though have been a bit disappointing. The kofta kebabs have been a little more gristly. Possibly a sign of the times and market pressures. Certainly would give a positive rating again if this improves.

Firstly I should probably point out that I've never eaten at Woody's sober. HOWEVER, every single time I've been in (and there have been many, many times), I do comment on how lovely the food is and wonder why I don't eat there more often, without the need for booze beforehand.They do falafels and kebabs and all the typical 3am Turkish fare.But where they stand out is that they bring you delicious, complimentary warm Turkish bread and dips to start with. And their dishes have salads on the side so you can feel virtuous whilst drunkenly wolfing down your kebab.I don't know exactly what hours they're open but I don't recall ever seeing them closed.Oh, and I saw David Mitchell in there once, when it was snowing heavily outside. Make of that what you will.

There are two branches in Kilburn and both are great. The lamb sticks with sauce are super good-looking and actually good. Any kebab is super filled with meat and great salad, very fresh. Drinks are quite cheap. Try lahmacun, very nice and super cheap! Service is quite average but it's totally worthy.

This place is not clean and I feel it is a health risk. I went there in early February2016, I was not impressed, the dish they served was a cheating version was what on the menu.

Visited this place a few times (as well as their other locations) and generally very good - standard Turkish fare, which fits into the tried & tested formula. Not as good as other, independent, Turkish places but still better than most in this price range & dining style...

Food cooled incredibly well. Staff took time to explain certain meals and welcomed us in with attention.Food came within a reasonable time and staff checked up after to see if everything was okay. No complaints what so ever.Perfect food with a reasonable price

Found this place by accident but will definitely return. Premise was small but welcome and service was better than in most larger establishments. Complimentary appetisers were delivered to table very quickly, whilst we were still deciding what to order. Food was delivered within 10 minutes.Menu is not extensive and vegan/vegetarian options were limited but the food was delicious and portion sized were excellent (really thought we would have to ask for a doggy bag). Fresh healthy 'cocktails' were a delight to find. Very good value for money..under £30 for 2 for drinks, main course each and shared 'extras'.

Excellent meal, with prompt, friendly service. The lamb shish plate was really good. The lamb was flavourful & tender & the veggies delicious & fresh. We also had the chicken doner wrap which was excellent & the portion was very generous for the price. Very good experience & we would certainly return.

Abbiamo appena cenato in questo ristorante turco. Locale molto spartano non usano nemmeno i bicchieri, a parte questo la carne alla griglia è molto buona soprattutto quella di agnello aromatizzata benissimo. Le porzioni sono abbondanti. Unica pecca è quella di non avere il poss per il pagamento con carte ma solo contanti rigorosamente sterline! Buon appetito

I should have reviewed the branch in watford but as there is no choice of watford branch, i will review it as woody grill as a whole. The price is so affordable, the place is clean and spacious, attentive servers, the food is so nice and tasty, big portions,nice salad, and the bread.. oh, fantastic. they even give you extra bread.. but sometimes, the bread that they give is not fresh, so it is a bit chewy.. otherwise, fantastic

Amazing value for money, the meat is delicious the salad substantial and varied and the bread is wonderful. You get practically a loaf of turkish bread as well. Whether youre in the area or not its worth the trip.

Me and the wife had lamb shank with rice.. Served with Turkish bread garlic and mild chili source ..the Portions were really big really enjoyed..the wife did insist she could do better.

The restaurant is a very basic looking restaurant with great food and service. All the meat is cooked fresh as well as the bread they serve you before your meal. The service is extremely fast as well. Highly recommend to go and have a look. Make sure you have plenty of room to eat a significant amount of food.

i wouldnt even rate it to be honest however in this instance I had to otherwise i would not have been able to right my review.So i went on a sunday with my friend and we ordered 2 chicken shish n a large portion of chips.we wited half an hour and then asked the waitress how long our food would be. she said no one put th order through so we ordered once again. 40minutes later, including the half hour wait we was given literally like 20 chips!!. and this is what they call large fries.We was told the sheesh chicken would take another 10 mins. At this point I was becoming very impatient as we near enough had waited a hour for our meal.. 10 mins later our sheeh chicken did not arrive. So we asked to talk to the manager "tall bald guy"we told him how we want to leave and we had been waiting literally for a hour!!. The guy started shouting and said we have to pay for the meal whether or not we have been served it. Because I am a humble person I paid for the so call large chips which was 1.70. I literally waited a hour, drove all the way from luton, paid for parking just to eat chips.And the sad thing of all this company doesnt even have a number to contact with complaints. I wrote my review on there website and they deleted it

i ordered a lentil soup all i could taste was chicken stock and when i asked the waitress her reply was immmmmm its lentil so its got no chicken. She was foreign and i felt she was not fully understanding what i was saying. i then asked her is this dish vegetarian ? as it for sure has chicken stock her reply still was it should be as it has lentils. worn doesn't seem to understand that you can mix chicken ad veg. se made no effort to find out if it was veggie. i therefore left it and was refunded. waste of time.

I've been going to Woodys for a long time and was always good but the last few times have been a bit hit and miss. Once the toilets stank so bad we couldn't finish our meals. They told us another time that they had run out of a certain meat and then served it to the table next to us.This time we were served turkish tea as soon as we sat down. I mentioned that they must have the wrong table as we did not order. The waitress said its ok its a treat on us. When we went to pay they had added the tea onto the bill. I queried it and they were quick to remove it. Be careful if they come over to you to bring you tea, hoummous without ordering as they may try and add it to your bill, best to refuse it.I could not fault the food it was as good as always.

Decent chicken wrap, good price and served quickly, hot and fresh. Friendly staff. Will come here again

Siamo capitati in questo posto consigliatoci da amici. Nulla di superbo. Ho ordinato un piatto di lamb (agnello) modalità piatto kebab. Mi è stato portato con insalata alternativa alle patatine. Una porzione buona per carità e non malaccio. L'ambiente non è chissà cosa e anche in pulizia. Ho visto comunque una varietà di piatti al di là della carne.

I traveled an extra hour to have this shwarma. It's the best shwarma I've had in London. The service was rubbish as to be expected in Arab places around London.

i recently visited woody grill as a regular customer, but this time i was hugely dissappointed because of the lack of service i received, firstly our food was delayed, we received the wrongs orders, the waiterd didnt know what they were doing, when did complain to the cahier he did nothing to resolve the issue, i will not certainly be visiting again.

lovely kebabs,bit more pricey buy you don't mind paying for good quality and taste.Size could be increased because I could probably eat two!

J'ai vecu près de ce restaurant kebab pendant pas mal d'année, j'y allais de temps en temps...Trés bon kebab à l'agneau!Personnel sympa...Ouvert jusqu'au petit matin!Jamais malade! ;)

Particularmente estuve en el de Kilburn, la comida es excelente. Las porciones son grandes, muy fresco todo, cocido a la vista. El personal es muy amable y simpático. La relación calidad-precio es muy buena. Lo recomiendo, cualquiea que sea de esa cadena de comidas rápidas ,que en Londres hay muchas. 10 puntos.
