Woodshed Bar in Highland

Came here last year camping an good for quick bite and some nice pints, love this place but only thing that upset me was they used to be open daily till about 1am now they only open Friday and sat from 2pm till 10 pm, I do my camping trips from a sat till the Thurs so whole timebi camping can only go in here on the sat because not open rest of week, apart from that nice place, just wish they would open every day like before, because of this no longer camping at rothiemurchus which is my favourite campsite

Good food and fast , inviting and got to be said the hotels best secret it seems ⛄️

Food was a massive portion, enough for 3 2/3 ppl

It's looks OK. But it had a really poor selection of food and drink. Which by 7:00 they had run out of most of everything, plus no real vegetarian option are the pizzas were very small

Excellent bar, spacious and occasionally live music. Really nice inside. Big fire place plenty seats

Advertised the best Nachos in the world. Obviously a marketing ploy. Not even the best Nachos in the UK, but pretty good, and reasonably priced with friendly service and good beers.

Limited menu but pizza was good. Drinks prices dependent upon day of the week. Opening time questionable. Dogs not allowed inside due to staff allergy. Children not allowed after 8pm

Lovely bar, plenty spacious with lots of drinks and snacks available. Live sport on the tv’s and a warm fire. The bar is on a raised wooden platform overlooking the surrounding forest. Would recommend

Hikers! This is a nice place. Are you hungry? Take a pizza and share the beef nachos with a nice cold beer.
