I regularly take my elderly mum for some Sunday breakfast here, it’s always been excellent, staff are absolutely brilliant & the food is lovely, usual English breakfast menu and a great specials board….I took mum again for Mother’s Day and was able to purchase flowers for her thanks to staff member who organised everything so they were on the table on our arrival….I have also been for lunch with my wife & our dog,we sat outside, same excellent food & service, staff were besotted with the dog & brought him out a sausage! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Forget Me Nots to anyone!

NEVER EVER AGAIN! After finding a hair unfortunately in our meal and us just gently telling the staff they made such a big deal of it! Like stood there constantly arguing and after looking at the low reviews below they just can’t take any type of criticism! So so so rude! Completely spoilt my Mother’s Day lunch for my mum! Before they publish that they gave our food for free yes they did but not from our request at all and they stood there arguing with us and insinuating all sorts. Be wary! Because if you go and have any kind of issue you won’t be treated respectfully! Such a shame because everything else was going ok until this point!

Don’t go in the winter!!! We visited today for breakfast , the food was lovely but it was freezing in the tea room, I saw one small radiator that was on number one but I’m not sure if it was even plugged in , the young lad serving us was in a coat with a scarf wrapped around him and OMG when I went to the Loo it was even colder in there , the loo seat was freezing and there was no hot water in the taps ! The prices are very high £11 for breakfast and £3.50 for hot chocolate and £3.50 for coffee , with high prices I would think they could afford to heat the tea room for customers , I was colder when I came out than when I went in!!!!

Stopped here for lunch with a friend on our first visit. What a lovely cafe. The staff were friendly and helpful with good procedures in place to ensure social distancing. We ordered the quiche & salad and weren't disappointed. Delicious homemade quiche (a very generous portion) and coleslaw with fresh salad. A very reasonable price as well We will definitely be back.

We went to Forget Me Not purely for ice cream sundaes, but the menu looked so good we had paninis as well. Pulled pork and cheese serve with a lovely salad and homemade coleslaw followed by lemon meringue sundae.Excellent service in these covid times. Felt very clean and safe and we saw the staff cleaning tables and windowsills where people put their belongings as soon as tables emptied. Also worth popping in the adjoining gift shop. A great selection of cards and gifts.I look forward to going back.

For obvious reasons our breakfast 'experience' was different from the many times we had previously visited. However, the quality of the breakfast and service was certainly as good as ever and as 70+ year olds, we felt extremely comfortable with the provisions they had made for social distancing, cutlery, sauces etc. Don't let Covid 19 deter you from visiting this welcoming establishment!!

I popped in again today for lunch and it was perfect as always, I couldn’t recommend it more. The new fresh salad bar looks amazing and the pulled pork is to die for! Even during COVID-19, they have taken precautions and it feels extremely safe. A lovely place I will always recommend to everyone.

My husband and I had lunch there today. The waitress wasn't particularly friendly. The meal was average. It was freezing cold in there. When we left, we were followed outside by same waitress asking whether we had paid. I found this very insulting. I would never think of leaving a place without paying. This was our first visit but we will certainly not return.

Secretly tucked behind Toms Farmshop, the old woodlands tearoom now forget me knot tearooms is a real find. Firstly absolutely spotless in there, secondly a great menu from a cooked breakfast, to paninis, salads, and a special board that does change! If you don’t have time grab a cake to takeaway. It’s spot on, smiley friendly staff, far superior to others in the area. Acoustics are great due to the high ceiling, great for people with hearing difficulties. Can not recommend it enough for a tea room.

I came here with my two friends and her little boy. We were greeted with warm, friendly smiles from the staff and straight away I noticed how clean the tearoom was. My friends little boy was given colours and paper to draw with so that he wouldn’t get bored, very child friendly. The decor was quaint and had some lovely touches to the tables. I ordered a caramel latte, being a coffee snob, I’m usually quite critical, however the creamy texture to my coffee was nothing less of perfection. The Brie, Bacon and Caramelised onion Jacket potatoe, salad and coleslaw was to die for! Warmed me up on a winters day! And so so tasty with a good sized portion for the price! It’s safe to say Forget Me Not’s is my favourite tearoom to date! I highly recommend ❤️

Who knew a such a lovely cafe could be discovered behind the farm shop? Perfect for our catchup with NCT group while kids at school! We were not rushed and the atmosphere was friendly and food so yummy. We couldn't resist the stunning homemade cakes. So convenient to order at the counter rather than waitress as not rushed and no hassle paying separately for our meals. Will most definitely return.

I visited the tearoom when it was Woodlands and it was awful. Since new management took over in 2018 and became Forget me Not Tearoom the transformation has been incredible. Since then I have returned several times and each time the food has been fantastic. Whether sandwiches, cakes or cooked food each plate is presented beautifully. The staff are lovely and it feels a calm place to eat and chat. I would highly recommend everyone visit.

A group of us used to come here for a lovely Sunday roast and delicious apple crumble. Tried today, not been since change of management. We were told no roasts as the kitchen isn’t big enough! Anyway we stayed. It was only 12 o clock but only two pieces of quiche left and another special taken off the board. People on just two tables whereas in the past the place was heaving. The aforementioned quiche was tasteless and soggy must have been heated in the microwave. So in short, very disappointing and we won’t be going back.

Pretty miserable lunch here, it was 1pm so you would expect a tea room to be very busy but there were only 2 other tables seating 2 other couples, the atmosphere was dead and the waitress was almost invisible in other words lacked personality, we ordered jacket potatoes with tuna and sweet corn but when they arrived they just had only got tuna chucked on the side of the plate and the potato was Luke warm so the butter didn't melt, the waitress didn't appear again so we left and won't go back again!

7 of us descended on this building for lunch and were warmly greeted by our lovely waitress, who made us feel very welcome. Tables were repositioned & cleaned , chairs moved, menus provided and adequate time allowed for us to settle and make our choices. 5 adults & 2 children all with various requests ranging from ham egg & chips, sandwiches, scrambled eggs on toast and jacket potatoes. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food, and the cups of tea's & coffee's. Prices were fair and we all said we would return.

This was my second visit and my husbands third so apologies for nor reviewing sooner. This place is an absolute gem. Great food, lovely team. I had a fish finger sandwich in lovely granary bread, my daughter had a cheese toastie and the hubster (on his first trip out after knee replacement surgery) had a cooked breakfast. Everything was delicious. We also had a couple of chip sides...just fantastic! We were beaten but had a couple of cake takeaways too. The chocolate cake and fruit cake have been given a big 5/5 this afternoon. Thanks to the lovely ladies that looked after us today

Visited Black pig on a Sunday morning for brunch and it was very tasty. The presentation of the dishes is fantastic along with the excellent ingredients make each meal very enjoyable. We ordered the veggie brunch and Eggs Royale which I added a portion of streaky bacon as an extra. We also had the hash browns as a side dish which would have been nicer if the portion was for four and not three to save fighting for the odd one . Overall well worth a visit for some quality food.
