This was the first time that we tried this place. We ordered on Uber Eats, the Asian style pizzas were delicious, not overloaded with toppings which was perfect for our liking. The large spaghetti bolognaise was really good too, good portion size. The Parmesan burger was nice but needed a good sauce and skin on fries were 10/10. Definitely ordering again. The food came quickly and it was piping hot.

Stumbled across this little gem whilst working away and ended up eating from here every night for 3 weeks. Consistently good quality food at reasonable prices with friendly staff thrown in.

I'd heard good things about this place having authentic pizza so we tried it out last night. Didn't feel the pizzas were authentic at all. Just a load of congealed cheese (so much so it had gone hard and I couldn't even tell if there was tomato underneath) and then very dense small cubes of chicken (not particularly many). I would choose elliott's in Bamford every day of the week over this place and would recommend anyone looking to see what an authentic pizza should look and taste like, to do the same. (Or to Woodfired to check out their competition!)

Ordered a delivery , arrived 45 mins late Pizza was soggy and cold

Not happy had a few pizzasprevious owners I assume, spent loads in past orders, buy one get one free didn't happen, said I've ordered wrong over 40 .00 nope , never again

We’ve had quite a few orders from here over the years which were always outstanding. I knew there were new owners and had seen posts assuring customers that nothing would change, but the experience we had recently was that much of a shambles I definitely will never be ordering from here again. Ordered on the app around 6pm, order was confirmed and it stated 7-7.15pm for delivery. 7pm passed, then 7.15pm passed. So did 7.30pm and 7.45pm and there was still no order having placed the order coming up to 2 hours prior. I rang to ask how much longer we could expect to wait to be told “it was sent ages ago”…to which she quickly backtracked and said “not ages, maybe 10 minutes”. I gave it another 5 minutes and still no order (we live 5 mins from here). I rang back and it didn’t bode well that the lady on the phone had to actually clarify which one was our missing delivery. She then said she didn’t know where our order was, because it wasn’t there so it must have gone out for delivery. I said so that means it had been out for delivery for nearly 20 mins at this point, and she then wasn’t even sure if it had actually even gone out for delivery. I called back for a third time and told them I was cancelling my order, to be told I couldn’t, because it was out for delivery. I said I wouldn’t be accepting the order having been told over 25 minutes ago now that it was being delivered. If we are 5 minutes away, where had it been for 20 minutes? A man took over the phone call who just kept telling me he’d remake it and resend it…I declined as we’d now been waiting over 2 hours already. The order then actually turned up at the door about 5 minutes after I’d told them I’d cancelled it. I refused to accept the delivery so the JustEat driver packed it all back up and went on his merry way after agreeing he’d have done the same. Don’t know if they had taken on too many orders or are just plain incompetent, but if you give a time for a delivery slot and aren’t able to meet that time at least have the courtesy to call. Don’t just add another hour on to the delivery time then lie saying the order has already been sent!

£11.00 for a 12 inch pepperoni pizza. I’m not too disgruntled with that. It was floppy but tasted quite nice and had proper pepperoni. £5 for garlic prawns, total rip off. It had 7 very small prawns in a small tray. A massive rip off. Pizza was a 3/5 for the price

First time trying this place. Mest feast pizza was fresh and tasty. A bit floppy and not as hot (temp) but I'll give them as I live further out. Skin on fries was tasty. Spaghetti Carbonara was good however I reckon I would have enjoyed it more with some truffle oil (which I need to add myself). Tiramasu dessert.. came from frozen but it was alright and would have been better at room temperature.

This used to be such a great takeaway but it changed hands a couple of months ago and has gone downhill. There is no real ham on the pizzas just a turkey substitute, the pepperoni is also not real pepperoni. The cheese on the pizza tasted so artificial so think they are cutting corners on ingredients. The pizzas are much better at Elliotts in Bamford precinct.

- Whopper burger and chips - Iv never spent £12 on food an still been hungry.. Never seen such a small amount of chips. & the burger was cold & basic. The advert was misleading. Will never buy again.

Very disappointed in our experience last night. Despite pre-ordering in the afternoon for evening delivery our order was still late. Then when it did arrive it was incomplete, cold and rather tasteless. Mistakes happen but it’s how it’s dealt with that’s important..service was terrible and I was told we would be refunded for missing items as they’d gone with another driver, why that driver couldn’t have dropped them off is beyond me as I assume those items would’ve then been wasted. We won’t be recommending or ordering again.

We ordered x2 wood fired whopper burgers with chips and they were really nice. But also order a half cheese and half tomato garlic pizza bread… this was awful. So much flour on the base it was destroyed and there was no garlic flavour at all. Disappointing because we’ve had the pizzas which are usually mega.

Food is really nice however very slow to deliver (nearly 2 hours) . Had similar experience twice now, having to call the restaurant to see where my food is. Hopefully a case of third time lucky as the food is good quality.

Absolutely amazing pizzas and sides, in particular honey pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks are so good. Highly recommend. Brilliant customer service too.

Emphasis on the word 'fired', I ordered a simple Margarita and it arrived cremated with a completely black crust around one half of the pizza. The amount of cheese loaded on the base was ridiculous and not how an authentic wood fired pizza should look, I couldn't even tell if it had any tomato sauce underneath as it was basically a slab of burnt cheese welded to a carbon-covered base. Sorry to say but I won't be subjecting myself to that abomination of a pizza again. I've had better from your average run-of-the-mill takeaway.

Really delicious pizza and chips! I ordered the Sunday special deal through the Rochdale Eats app. It arrived quickly and was piping hot when it arrived. Reasonable price for the quality. I will definitely order from here again.

Had to write a review for wood fired, from my friends and I order last night. Although delivery seemed a long time we put it down to complications on how we ordered it through apps and what not. Arrived really hot, however had an item missing and some mixed up items. But my review comes from the kindest, understanding and compassionate response when I called to just ask where a missing desert pizza was... it was sent out instantly. Seemed to Also be a little incident with one of the pizzas that everything had slid off, which I explained to them, just so they knew, but never asked for a replacement I was happy enough to scrape it from the box and wack it on. However they rocked back up within 15 minutes with a replacement and missing items. The pizzas were lush, chips and sides were great, salted caramel gluten free cannoli game changer..... food has always been good. But I wanted to highlight the professionalism and kindness, although it wasn't a compliant or request for a replacement, they did it anyway stating it shouldn't happen. Just a small act of kindness and clearly professionalism within a business with high standards. Thank you from me and the girls. Xxx

Ordered the Sunday special through the app. Meatball pizza was utterly delicious although it could benefit from a few extra meatballs because they were so yummy! Lasagna was our pasta choice - full of flavour but a rather small portion compared to the rest of the feast, also the sauce was a little too chunky for my preference. Skin on fries were fantastic! Tried the peanut chocolate dessert pizza which was a revelation, salty, peanutty heaven!!! All in all a great choice for a lazy Sunday night dinner

Restaurant quality pizza in a takeaway. Really delicious pizzas, we had calzone and it was very well filled with good quality ingredients. Fresh and hot, service over the phone and on collection was friendly and efficient.

I'm italian, I had my own italian restaurant for years, and I can only say about this place, is amazing. Is the best pizza I ever had from a takeaway,always arrive on time,and flavour wise I can only say is amazing. Keep going on this direction and you will always succeed. I'm definitely recommend to everyone want to a little taste of Italy.

Ordered a family feast tonight. 4 larges pizzas, 2 large fries, Greek salad and 4 cans. Food was very hot, still had steam coming from box when collected it. All food was super.

We ordered the £20 deal where you get a pizza, chips, pasta and a dessert. The pizza was burnt, the chips were awful and the carbonara was very poor. Overpriced, overcooked, low quality food. The only thing I will give them credit for was the dessert. Will not be ordering from there again.

Sorry, not impressed, my wife and I had chicken burgers, the burgers were good but everything else was soggy, the sweet potato fries were bland. The staff were very nice and friendly, but I won't be back.

Great food and value for money. I ordered Chicken Healthier Box. Would have preferred more roasted vegetables (only a spoonful in large tray) and fewer sweet potato fries loads of them!. But apart from that would definately recommend.

The Wood Fired pizzas really live up to their name. The pizza base is so yummy with their own sauce recipe. The loaded fries and burgers are fab too. My husband has an allergy to cheese and they're always accommodating doing his pizza or burger without cheese. Always a good meal from here and the food is always ready for collection on time. They're extremely busy at weekends so pre-order is essential if you don't want to be eating late.

Ordered the Gluten free Base with skin on fries. Ordered ahead by phone and waited in the car where they then delivered too. Highly recommended!!

I have eaten here a few times, never been disappointed. However last night, I ordered via just eat - I was then called to say the takeaway would be delayed an the only ‘available slot’ was 2 hours on from when I ordered, I waited Because I liked the food previous. When received the delivery, no thank you for waiting, I opened the pizzas, far too much cheese. And as for the chicken carbonara, it was tasteless and the amount or chicken I was given was ridiculous (hardly any) won’t be eating here again.

Ordered for four people including gluten free, Food arrived earlier than expected piping hot ,healthier box was fantastic. Mask worn by driver and money handed over in sealed envelope which was very trusting. Will definately use again.

We ordered the family feast and a feast is exactly what you get. The food tasted amazing and the amount of food you get is great value for money.

Been meaning to try this place out and we finally got round to it. Pizza is great and price is also good. Really enjoyed it rather order from here now than the other bigger chains that you can find. Fantastic 👍🏻 great addition to Rochdale.

Have had takeaways on a fairly regular basis over the last 2 years mainly at the weekend. The Pizzas are the best I've ever had, they are delicious. I can't fault the prices, the Couple's Meal, in particular, is amazing value for the money. The staff are always welcoming and happy to add/amend the meal if asked - for example, more chillies/garlic butter etc. Well done to everyone involved.

I was pleased to see that Wood Fired is taking Covid-19 social distancing seriously. We don't go into the shop. Someone came to the shop door and took my order. I paid by contactles and told the shop assistant where I was parked. When my order was ready, he brought it out to my car! Service with a smile!

We ordered the Sunday Special of pizza, pasta etc. Everything was tasty and fresh but the real let-down was the amount of toppings on the pizzas. There was a very large outer rim of base with nothing on it. Staff were friendly (under difficult conditions) so seems a pity.

Split feelings. My wife thought the pizza was tasty. It was spicey for sure which was a plus. 5 bits of pepperoni??? All the Toppings were scant, or were they, is that how much should be on it? Maybe. thought the base was hard too. We got the halloumi fries aswell, i was a bit disappointed in them to be honest. Can't see us using this place again. I have spoken to others that say its great so might just be my expectations or maybe the wrong person made my pizza, i know they are busy! Honest review but recommend people try it as i say others say its good.

Ordered garlic bread with cheese, got pizza bread with cheese 😭 also ordered Hawaiian pizza which was dry, burned and not nice. Will not be ordering from them again. On the plus side delivery man was very friendly

Really enjoyed my visit last week, the food was really good. Excellent chips and halloumi fries. The pizza and garlic bread was made fresh in front of us. Had to wait a little bit but that's because it was busy with just eat orders flying in. Would definitely recommend be back to try over bits of the menu. Even the breakfast sounds good. 5*

Good Italian style pizzas. Thin crust. Small selection but the best authentic we have tried. Prompt delivery. Given a time and they have arrived as stated. Haven’t tried the rest of the menu so cannot comment but great pizza.

Best pizza in Rochdale by far. Real pizza! I wouldn't recommend the halloumi fries at £4 and 5 fries it's abit steep. Read a review about the menu and pizzas are too small I'd say quality over quantity if u want a cheaply made over priced American style pizza go dominoes or papa John's. These are a cut above the rest! The way a pizza should taste. I'd like to see a vegan option I eat a plant based diet and i have the vegetarian pizza as a treat an a treat it is.

Second time visited and again perfect Pizza.

It’s the 3rd time I’ve visited Wood Fired and it never disappoints. I would recommend the Prawn Healthier Box. It was absolutely delicious! I couldn’t wait to get home so I tucked into my garlic bread with cheese in the takeaway as they have a small seating area there. I’ve previously had their Pepperoni Pizza and the Parmesan Chicken grill which comes with fries both were great! They also stock a variety drinks and mini tubs of ice cream with lots of flavours. I opted for honeycomb which was lovely! The staff are always really friendly too. Will definitely be back.
