I've been meaning to review this gem for a while. But for some reason I always forget to do so. Long story short. I'm first and foremost an Asian cuisine fan. However, I tried Theo Peppe for the first time around five years ago when it was a friend's partners birthday. And she chose to order food from here .... This place converted me to a new found love of Greek food! And I can fully confirm the dishes served here are as good, if not better than Greek restaurants I have visited since! I keep meaning to try other things from the menu. However I always find myself returning to their Beef Stifado. Slow cooked steak in a rich and aromatic tomato garlic sauce with baby onions. Always paired with rice. The beef is lovely big chunks, and ALWAYS melt in your mouth (you can cut it with a spoon). Seasoned perfectly. Great portion. The rice is always done perfectly. Lightly fragranced, with added chick peas. My partner loves their lasagna. We've also had chicken gyros that are miles ahead of elsewhere quality wise! The might seen slightly higher priced than other places. But keep in mind with a main, you get a choice of rice or chips. I'd never insult myself with ordering chips. But if for whatever reason you do. They are run if the mill frozen chips. But the quality of the food here is amazing! This is genuine Greek cuisine. Not fast food. On the subject of fast. Sometimes there is a slightly longer wait for your food. But as they say. Good things come to those who wait!

it was an hour and twenty minutes delivery time fair enough, when it turned into a hour and 40 I rang the shop and was assured it wouldn't be long and it would be hot another 10 mins later I got a stone cold , not even slightly warm meal delivered, if your to busy stop taking orders , so you don't deliver an expensive inedible dinner

Only ordered a couple of times from here, was recommended to me, and iv not been disappointed. The food is spot on I intended going through the menu. Would definitely recommend this place comfort food at it finest 👌🏼

My order got delivered, I realised the food looked slightly creamy and I'm allergic to milk so I rang the takeaway and they were SO HELPFUL. Straight away confirmed there was a small amount of cream and said do not eat it and we will deliver you fresh without milk and fresh chips. When you call most takeaways they don't even know what's in their food never mind be this kind and considerate. 5* review

absolutely perfect, i'm really picky when it comes to takeaways but wow this was restaurant quality food delivered to your door. first time i have ever eat the salad from a takeaway it was so fresh, the chicken gyros and the tzatziki was so tasty. it was even delivered 30 mins early! Thanks guys we will be back :)

Arrived over an hour late and the chicken gyros was cold and chewy. Really disappointed as we usually love Theo's and order frequently.

Disappointed, always order from here and this time the pizza was burnt with hardly no toppings and was just warm. Took over an hour to be delivered

disappointed by steak girls, theyvusedbto be so juciy and tender, obviously using cheaper cuts of meat now....chicken giros dry and way to much salad added to fill the tray up.

steak giro used to be really good.. theyvway to chewy now....chicken girls are OK but abit dry....last owners had better quality food

Chicken meat in the starter kebab was torched on the surface, but with pink meat within! Amd the meatballs and vlahos sauce was the exact same overly greasy slop. Dolmades the only dish worth a positive comment. Sorry guys but for £30+ that was poor.

We ordered through Theo Peppe’s site - very easy to use and pay. The section for collection time was very handy. Great service including a phone call to inform our food was ready with a lovely welcome on collection. The food was fantastic, fresh, tasty, brilliant quality, large portions and very well packed. We will be definitely ordering again and would recommend the Chicken Gyro Plata, the whipped feta, keftedes and tirokafteris.

No issues with it being only 10 minutes late as my property is difficult to find. This was the first time of ordering from here and I wasn't disappointed. The only problem was, I ordered a sauce but didn't receive it.

Wasn’t as good as usual. Pasta was really oily & chicken was dry.

I ordered tonight and got the spaghetti carbonara and a garlic bread , the garlic bread was stone cold and the amount of grease on the plate from the spaghetti was disgusting. My boyfriend however got the pollo peppe and absolutely loved it . Would avoid the spaghetti

Food was the worst food I’ve ever had in my entire life. I will never order from here again our order was £52.80 everything went in the bin. Wouldn’t recommend

food arrived 45 minutes late. ordered at 20.30 was told delivery be 21.15. food arrived at 22.00. rang 3 times to chase to be told driver had left and that they had been busy . luke warm on arrival, and soggy chips, stale pitta bread. ordered and paid for extra pitta for only 1 to be sent not 3. maybe if very busy should update delivery times on just eat to reflect that or pause orders for a while, highly disappointed today esp when spending £35 on a takeaway

Was late and stone cold . When I called to ask were it wasi I heard a guy stating it was still there in the background so was probably sent cold as it was way late anyway so just went in the bin. Just eat no help either so really poor all around really

Amazing! We are staying in the premier inn and wanted something comforting and warm for dinner after a long drive!! This did not disappoint!! The portion sizes are incredible and the quality of the food is superb!! Took a little while to come but we’ll worth the wait!! We had two main meals and they could easily feed two adults each. Value for money and tasty food who could ask for more??

Emailed them regarding dietary requirements before placing an order but I haven't had a response in almost a week despite sending a couple emails - very disappointed.

The Beef Stroganoff ordered was terrible, too much salt & mustard.The whole meal had to be binned,which is a shame because the food is normally bang on.

Fantastic as always, Theo’s is a firm favourite in our house.

Chicken souvlaki is A++ quality. Salad and tzatziki fresh and delicious. Pizzas are a bit bland. More seasoning on the tomato sauce.

Two hour wait is not acceptable when you have been told it will be less …phoned up and told it was on its way, Order still not arrived 45 minutes later spoke to a very pleasant gentleman on the phone just to hear staff in the background screaming and shouting extremely rudely, food was cold when it arrived, not even warm enough to eat, so had to be warmed up. It’s obviously been stood around, it was bland and very uninteresting will never venture to this place Again Lasagne tasted off Hummus didn’t even taste like hummus more like wall paper paste Rest was inedible apart from an ok chicken gyros Ended up eating hotdogs out of the fridge as you can see in the picture as the food wasn’t up to a standard that even a hotdog can reach Ordered at 6.01pm delivered at 8.05 pm One star for atmosphere based on the rude screaming from the gentleman in the background… Who I heard saying, they need to be patient, after two hours my patience had worn thin !!

Takeaway took two hours to be delivered, food was cold, not even warm enough to eat, once warmed up, it was bland and uninteresting Staff were rude and unhelpful apart from the telephone guy who was extremely nice, rest of the staff in the background, screaming and shouting were rude … won’t be wasting my money again and won’t be venturing anywhere near this establishment

Ordered online through their website, order accepted and paid for. 2 hours later...Still no delivery. Tried to call them but no answer and a voicemail simply stating "we are on annual leave until September". Order never did arrive in the end as they were obviously closed yet showing as open all over the Internet, including their website which they didn't have the forethought to close down the online ordering side of before closing. No mention of closure on any of their social media either. 2 hours + wasted before having to order from elsewhere and wait again...which was a gamble as we didn't know if theo peppes would deliver randomly later on. This was for someones birthday so additionally frustrating as it ruined things. Now disputing the payment through the bank, but in terms of professionalism...pretty appalling. If you're closing down for extended periods of time, surely some common sense for online ordering and communicating this to customers is a pretty basic thing. And one month on...not even the decency of a simple apology. Which says a lot about a Company.

We have ordered from here many of times! The steak giro platter is so tasty. The meat is very tender and the Pasta Al Romano is amazing! Don’t pass this place

I really enjoy eating the food there!

I’ve ordered from here many times and the food is always delicious. I order the steak gyros and the meat is always cooked well and the salad is fresh. Good portions sizes too. It always turns up quickly and piping hot. If you want a takeaway that tastes homemade and actually fills you up this is the one.

I’ve been coming here for years since they opened. They are always very friendly when I collect and the food is fantastic!

We ordered online direct from their website at 7pm it still hadn’t arrived by 8:05, we rang and was told it was on it’s way, we rang back again at 8:30 and was told they’d missed the order and would have to wait another hour, 2 and a half hours for food is an absolute joke, we cancelled and asked for a refund and was told they’d send a driver with the money, shocking service, we def won’t attempt to order anything else from here again, this is a shame cause we all love Greek food and was looking forward to it.

Amazing food every time. I have never had a bad meal from here. Delivery can take a few minutes longer than time given but this will be due to high demand orders and it is definately worth the wait 5* food absolutely love it and can’t wait for the next time

It's abit more expensive not alot more but you get what you pay for & it's worth paying that little more for fresh ingredients & well cooked it's clean & the staff are friendly WELL WORTH A VIST 10/10

Ordered food around 9pm. Called over an hour later to ask what was happening and was told it was busy but the driver had left. I received a text saying my food would not be long at 22:08. I called half an hour later to be told that they did not know what was going on. I told them to "forget it, I'm going to bed". Theo Peppes called me back at 11pm to tell me that the driver had delivered our food to the wrong address. The order was cancelled. There was some talk of a voucher and he was very apologetic but no call from the manager to apologise.

Order quite regular from here and always good food and pleasant staff. The Greek salad being a firm favourite along with the lasagne. Highly recommended.

I ordered on Rochdale eats I think u need to sort ur menu out very miss leading I orded a chicken plater as that was on the mains an it was big enough for 3 but I was ordering on my own an it was nerly 11pound then I go in ur menu and I see that u hide the meals for one in the starters I wasted 11 pound when I could off got a small one if it was set out properly instead off trying to decive us I will never order again from u avoid

A positive from me. The chips are well seasoned. The giros is a decent portion of chicken and salad for the price. The pizzas are sometimes too cheesy but nothing to complain too much about.
