Have ordered a few times now from this Chinese take away and I must say it never fails. Food is tasty and still hot by the time we receive it. Would recommend 👌🏼

Food well cooked. I had the house special noodles. Usually this has lots of meat and king prawns. However at this chinese it was all chopped up small. Price good, obviously you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay more. Hubby said the same with his dishes.

The best Chinese you will have, would recommend over anywhere else, amazing food hot every time and great people aswell, always go above and beyond even when customising food they will pretty much do anything you like, fast delivery and great service.

Ordered a large takeaway for a family celebration - a set meal for 4, two set meals for 2 and extra Chow Mein. Deliberately under ordered as I know the portion sizes are huge. It comfortably fed 14 adults and 3 teenagers, was hot and delicious. Everyone commented on how good it was - we usually order from a different Chinese for this size meal but following bad reviews decided to use this one instead - this was the best decision and will definitely use them again. BTW we are regular customers just for the 2 of us, we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

All frozen and warmed In a microwave …… Spent just under a £100 for what we hoped was a genuine feast for a family members birthday Half a crispy duck plastic container filled with 1cm pieces of the worst dried meat I’ve ever seen and then the dried old bones on top I assume to prove it’s duck. It got binned as inedible waste of £18 Anything in a sauce was floating in water and brightly coloured obviously pre frozen and microwaved Anything chicken was tough tasteless in some cases rock hard, some of the bread crumbs were bright orange had not seen that kind of thing in Years The beef chow mein was burnt not eaten Rubbery prawns need I go on The young person who took the order should have been the warning rude sallow and couldnt have cared less So much food was wasted, either vile or tepid not even warm, birthday relative was so Embarrassed as they had recommended it. There is zero chance there is a chef there and no chance anything saw the inside of a wok That night. The most recent reviews are obviously the same person It’s getting harder to find anywhere that does a decent take away these days and not just in this town either. The size off their menu and how many dishes they offer should be the warning Never again

When ordering I was told 1h15. At 1h45, I called to chase and was told another 15 minutes. The food never arrived. DO NOT BOTHER ORDERING IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO EAT

This is the best Chinese iv ever had, the food is amazing, piping hot fresh and so so tasty I never finish a Chinese but this is so dam good I try to finish! The portions are huge the ribs are moist juicy and full of flavour plenty of meat best ribs ever!!!!! This is my fave Chinese

We normally had our regular Chinese restaurant that we would always go to however the place was closed and so we decided to take a plunge and go with wongs crispy duck! The lady on the phone was the sweetest, really easy to order and with it being a bank holiday, it was delivered within the time scale given and the delivery bloke was so polite. They provided us with freebies due to ordering a high quantity! The food was so delicious and fresh! I definitely recommend, such amazing service and we definitely will be returning :) x

We've quickly become regulars since moving to the area a few years ago, after trying several other Chinese takeaways in town, Wong's is the victor. The food is always really flavourful, and the staff are so friendly and kind! A real credit to the community.

We ordered a takeaway for collection as we were staying nearby. Received a telephone call to let us know when the food was almost ready. Contactless collection from the car park. Staff very polite and friendly. Food was fresh, piping hot, tasty and very plentiful. We got free spring rolls and fortune cookies. Can definitely recommend this takeaway.

The only thing that was right was the fortune cookie 'there will be a surprise when you get home' and the surprise was not getting what I ordered! Didn't realise that there was new management and ordered off the old menu, ordered tofu with leeks in a peking sauce. Order was taken and read back to me and I was given mixed vegetables with tofu which tasted awful. Sweet and sour sauce was not sweet and mini spring rolls were rubbish too. Use to love this Chinese, won't be returning.

Just had beef curry and egg fried rice from Wongs Crispy Duck this evening. No flavour at all and sauce was like watered down gravy. Never have known it was a curry. Egg fried rice not bad, but chips not good either. Had spring roll as well - now 2 large instead of 5 small. Again no taste to them. In fact left half of it all. Been ordering from there for 10+ years - never again.

The food is second to none, extremely tasty and amazing portions. I had King Prawn with Ginger and Spring Onion, my husband had King Prawn Hong Kong Style Sweet and Sour, we shared a Special Fried Rice, there were 10 huge prawns! He asked for the prawns to have batter We had ours delivered and although we didn't have a menu, the gentleman that took our order was extremely helpful. Their website isn't quite ready at the moment but not long before it is up and running. They are Cash Only and the delivery was on time.

Just opened after refit great food and plenty of it,recommend to all fabulous, will use again portion sizes are large they also do home delivery

Just had our first delivery since the takeover and WOW!!!!! People are commenting on the price increase and delivery charge but it was well worth it. Thanks for getting to me for when I asked. Portions are definitely larger, we couldn't eat it all the food was amazing too. Can't wait to order again and try some new items from the menu. Well done wong's crispy duck ♥️♥️

Used this takeaway for the first time based on the good reviews , but unfortunatey we didnt like it at all. Started off with ordering on the phone to waht sounded like a child ( this was true as when we picked up she still had her school uniform on!) , when asked for a costing , she then had to phone us back to tell us she had got it wrong and it was more expensive , not a massive issue but unprofessional. Food was ready when we went to collect , unpacked it when we got home , order was correct but the food was really not that great , king prawn balls batter was soft and under cooked , the crispy beef wasn't crispy and the egg fired rice was very soggy. To be honest we couldn't eat much of it and ended up chucking it away , ok so it only cost us just under £20 , but food should at least be cooked well. We would have gone back , but we live 10 miles away .Not sure how it has got so many good reviews , maybe they had a bad night when we used them , however we will never know as we wont use them again

I rang to place an order for some food to be delivered ... didn't have a menu, but the lady I spoke to helped and suggested ideas (I knew roughly what I wanted to order), and we were pleasantly surprised when the food arrived a bit sooner than expected, it was hot and very tasty - Spare ribs, Szechuan chicken, Sweet and sour chicken (Hong Kong style) and Special fried rice. Thank you for a great meal - will be calling again (with a menu in hand).

Pedimos una llevar esta noche que nos llevó 2 horas llegar. Varias llamadas para ver donde la comida era y nos dijeron que nuestro futuro a medida ya no era bienvenido. Gran para llevar poco. La mejor comida de Sichuan hemos tenido fuera de Londres. Los ingredientes son frescos y perfectamente preparado. Este no es uno de esos restaurantes chinos que utiliza la misma salsa para todo y sólo agrega aceite de chili para hacerlo "Sichuan". Se toman muy en serio las alergias alimentarias, que es importante para mí. Ellos hicieron a cada plato que eligió para asegurarse de que era seguro para mí. Que me lleve una Epi-pen en todo momento porque algunos lugares asumen que no quieres algo porque me gusta y por desgracia han sido hospitalizado como consecuencia. Que el chef lleva tiempo para asegurarse de que es seguro significa mucho.

He comido desde los dos veces y siempre impresionados con la calidad de la comida, sabrosos y frescos sabores de Wong, carne tierna, de buen tamaño de la porción y una buena variedad para elegir con gambas galletas saladas siempre incluida. Las salsas son muy sabrosas y no demasiado gruesas o gloopy como algunas pueden ser comida para llevar - no gire a medusas cuando guay! Lo recomiendo encarecidamente y esto será nuestra primera parada para una cena de último minuto de ahora en adelante.

Very tasty and freshly cooked food, ordered a set meal for one and another meat dish and got some free Prawn Crackers. There was more than enough for 2 huge plate fulls and very reasonably priced. Definitely our choice of take away.

Absolutamente fantástico para llevar! Hemos sido clientes de alrededor de 4 o 5 años (en promedio por lo menos 1 orden por quincena) no puedo criticar el servicio o la comida. Te dejan a nuestra casa, y a veces el clima ha sido terrible, pero que siempre entregados. incluso reconocer cuando nos llame ahora, sin dar a nuestro nombre. genial.

Can't fault this takeaway, we use them regularly. They are quick, food is always hot. Their crispy duck is the best I've ever had. They are very helpful and will cook special dishes without batter for me (gluten free diet).

Excellent tasty takeaway with parking outside and well priced.Centrally located in the town it is easy to find and just what an angler needed.
