Seriously don’t bother their food is as bad as their customer service rude and funky!!!! They know best and there’s always a story and a get out clause. If ur depending on dinner and what u have ordered then good luck lol!!!!! Ur be past from pillar to post and told all sorts and what does arrive is sub standard and terrible!!!! Worst and I do mean in edible slop stay away!!!! When u do have difficulties with ur order ur be told it’s ur mistake and they do it like this!!!! And if u don’t like it that’s your problem by which point they have over charged u and won’t offer a refund!!!!

Had better,chip were dry and hard

First time customers tonight; ordered for 4 people and was ready in 10 minutes. Portion size was generous, food was hot and very tasty and everyone cleaned their plates! :) Good value for money, too. Recommended.

First time trying this place and was really happy with it. Fast service and good prices. Some of the meat was slightly overcooked but the food was good and I'll definitely be going back in the future.

Not great .. but it's only a takeaway so go there if you're desperate for Chinese food. Staff are ok but cooking could be better.

Couldn't eat my curry might as well just had a plate of salt bad stomach pains all night and most the morning never again

Ordered curry and chips, the chips came in a bag and curry in a separate carton. They should come together as a meal, not as a dippy option

Food is perfect as always. Never an issue. Always quick service and delicious food

used to be really nice local chinese and worth the money. it has gone downhill. staff were disinterested on the phone when we ordered, and when we arrived to collect they were sitting there bored just watching tv. place was completely empty. the spare ribs didn't smell right and didn't taste right either, i am rather worried they may of been expired or over re-heated. the fried rice was awfully bland and dry with tiny pieces of roast pork. the chow mein was extremely greasy and tasteless, pork balls were tiny and soaked with oil, and sweet and sour sauce was turning into jelly already when we started to eat our meal. it's a shame really, as i used to enjoy eating here but it seems they have stopped caring about the quality of food and customer service. i won't be returning, and i will not be eating the left overs tomorrow either.

Very nice prompt service nice meal.

Moved here two years ago and missed my old chinese so gave these a try and wasn't disappointed.

When asking for recommendations on Chinese takeaways, Dragon Inn got an overwhelming thumbs up! Be careful when calling up as there is another one under the same name in Ely, we made that mistake but the people at Dragon Inn Chatteris were so lovely and understanding that they quickly made an order to replace our mistake. Really good food and piping hot when we got home. Look forward to becoming a regular and being automatically recognised like I saw with many others that came in after me.

The best chinese takeaway I have ever had! Been using them for years and they have never let me down. Amazing customer service and always try to accommodate you. Their peking sauce is the best.

Ordered 2 duck fried rice and a duck sauce. The duck sauce was to overpowering. The food and sauce wasn't warm and I had a hair in my rice. Absolutely appalled, was looking for a nice Chinese; first time ordering there and also the last.

Lovely Chinese, makes a nice change to find somewhere that does Tofu dishes, seems to be rare around the local area. The veg chow mien could do with a bit more seasoning, but still lovely!

Tried Dragon Inn after reading google reviews as I live in Sheffield and was not disappointed excellant food

Delicious food, prepared quickly. The ribs are utterly amazing, melt in your mouth, so good!

Friendly staff, Takeaway just been decorated looks much tidier. Great Chinese food , one downfall they dont and the only other chinese in Chatteris dont deliver, would do a roaring trade if they did .

Love house special chow mien.Usually quick service but at peak times can take while. Food is always good and tasty. Wifes favourite is Hong Kong style sweet and sour. Will keep going back.

Placed an order over the phone and collected it within 10 mins which for a Monday night is pretty good I would say. Ordered a Kung Po chicken without the water chestnuts but with the cashews, a beef with green peppers in a black bean sauce, 2 portions of egg fried rice a a portion of chips. Having had problems in the past I always double check the order before leaving the shop but all was okay this time . Food was nice and hot and plenty of it, even to give us a second meal the following day for lunch, minus the chipsOnly wish they would get a card reader for payments as cash only is a bit of a pain and I keep trying to persuade the owner to get a reader. ...oh well maybe one day !

Service always 1st class as is the food.

The food is good, but thats as far as it goes.Service (phone collection) is average at best and I have had at least 2 mistakes made inb the oprders with a very rude phone mannerism on one occasion when I called back to see what was going on - I don't appreciate abuse in Chinese language on the phone.I was a regular customer, but not now!!!

Decided on a change from my usual kung po chicken so opted for beef in black bean sauce with green peppers and wow will definitely be ordering it again at some point. Beef was lovely and tender while the peppers were nice and crisp. My wife chose chicken balls with curry sauce and we both had an egg fried rice to go with it along with a portion of chips, yes we were hungry but it certainly hit the spot and plenty left over for a quick lunch time meal the following day ! The Dragon Inn is the Chinese for me in Chatteris !!

Outstanding, food cooked perfectly all served hot and fresh. I heard that Royal China have had a change in management. Previously they were average and a bit hit and miss on quality. However having switched from Chef Peking in March I've got to say this place is fantastic. Every occasion the food has been perfect. Cooked just right and tastes delicious. My only suggestion for improvement would be to offer a delivery service. Chicken Curry is awesome Crispy shredded beef cooked to perfection. All the rices are brilliant Keep it up guys

Have been using the Dragon Inn for my Chinese takeaway for years and wouldn't go elsewhere for one , but they do have a couple of issues. The fact that in this day it's cash only can be a problem and a couple of times I've got home only to find they have got my order wrong which I have had to go back to the shop for them to correct after I have phoned them. If ordering straight from the menu there is usually no problem but it is very annoying when you ask for one thing only to find the wrong item in the bag even after checking the order with the staff when collecting it. They really need to get a card reader for payment and just be a little more careful when checking the order.

Only Chinese worth visiting in Chatteris, have visited for years. Order ready in 10 mins, recently there was an error with one of the dishes, the staff recited the order before taking and noticed the error, quickly corrected. Will continue to use above all else!

The food here is reasonable on some days it is greasier than others but it is good value and the staff are friendly and have the newspapers to keep you occupied while you wait.

Good food, but only 1"but". They always changing chefs/hands. Used to be the best in chatteris, this days i cant say that.

Well I was surprisingly pleased with the takeaway I just had at Dragon Inn, Chatteris. For the last 6 years have been going to China Garden in Somersham however as it was closed when I went to order I found myself trying the Dragon Inn again.
