Wonderful Chinese Take Away in New Forest

Food was bland not much duck init .house special curry bland only good thing was the coke gave 2star becouse off the coke .

We have ordered from Wonderful several times always very pleased with the food! In fact we shall be Ordering again Tonight.

My first time ordering here, I went In to order, I could see them cooking the food. The chicken is frozen but i didnt expect anything different, lovely tasty food!! If there was something I could change it would be finer chopped veggies in the salt and pepper chicken but other than that it was delicious. The kung po chicken is a must!!

Great food great service Had a issue with payment but the lady on the phone was very helpfull and did everything she could to make sure I got my order will be ordering again especially as they delivered to me in a lorry😁

Just ordered food from this place. Arrived in 11 minutes. How is it physical possibly to prepare, cook and deliver food in less than 12 minutes. It’s not. Dreadful reheated rubbish including chips. Whole lot absolute rank. If you’re going to rip someone off at leat have the brains not to deliver quicker than can even be cooked. Account deleted won’t be using again. Nowhere to actually review on their own website, wonder why.

Perfect every time! We must eat here every week or so we love it here. Defiantly recommend, food is fresh and they do accept card payment :)

Ordered the good online but realised I'd sent it to a relative's address. Delivery guy phones and within minutes turned up at my address. Really friendly service and food exceptional as always. Thank you.

I ended up having a set meal for 2 for myself where the option allowed me to choose the dishes I wanted. As I usually order a couple of dishes anyway, this is an amazing value option, with the only downside being an additional rice (perfect if this is actually intended to be eaten by 2 people). My actual only issue was the amount of seaweed included. It was a sauce pot-sized amount. Although fine for me as I was eating alone, if it HAD been 2 people sharing, this would have been about a bite of seaweed each. The lemon chicken and duck in plum sauce were absolutely unreal, the starters were exceptional, while the rice was super tasty.

We have ordered our Chinese food from here for a long time. However we ordered tonight and the lady who takes the order hung up despite us being regular customers. As she would not guarantee that she could deliver our order within an acceptable time. I then went to the restaurant in person. And again she was rude and argumentative and refused a refund. She said the boss was not on the premises, but after a discussion he the presented himself as the boss. After a lengthy discussion he said l would have to wait 48 hrs until l would be entitled to a refund. . We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food is excellent. Take away service is quick. Delivery is excellent. All done on line. Can highly recommend this take away.

Amazing freshly cooked and always tasty

Extremely impressed. Stopped in quickly on our way through Totton. Food was cooked and served within the 10-15 minutes promised. Set meal D for 2 for £20.80 was a dealious bargain. Loads of food which eventually served 3 adults and a child. So very happy with that. Everything was cooked to perfection and fresh. The best Chinese we have had for years. Will try and find any excuse to pass that way again soon for another treat. Just wish I lived closer. The kitchen is on view in the takeaway, and all is very clean. 5 star hygiene certified. I would suggest just pop in, order and takeaway.

Needed a quick takeaway and filled in the online order. Easy to use online system. Delivered with the estimated time. Happy driver. Really good Chinese food, especially the ribs and king prawn curry. Well done

After reading mixed reviews, I was unsure as to what to expect from Wonderful Chinese Takeaway. Some people raved about it yet others complained about extremely long wait times having ordered online. I did the ability to order online as it made it much easier. In addition, the staff were very polite and friendly. I also liked the online chat function as it was very useful. The menu had good options. However, I was very disappointed that I had to wait almost an extra hour for my food to be delivered after already waiting the expected hour as given on the website countdown. When I tried to ring, no-one was able to give me an ETA for my order. The food was okay - the sauce on the shredded chilli beef was good however the spring rolls and the prawn toasts were a bit old and stale.

We've recently moved to Totton and gave Wonderful a try. We've already been back 3 times and have definitely made this place our local Chinese takeaway! The food is so flavourful and cooked to perfection. Can't rate this place highly enough!

Tried Wonderful for the first and last time tonight. Placed our order, waiting an hour and decided to contact them for an update. We were told our food was out for delivery with the driver. Waited a further 30 minuets and called again only to be told they hadn’t yet started cooking our food! Cancelled the order. Now I’m just hungry and hacked off. Never again

Placed an order online, after the hour wait I contacted them and was told it was with the driver. Half an hour later I rang up and was told rudely that they hadn’t actually hadn’t started cooking the order yet. After 90 mins they hadn’t even started cooking it! Cancelled the order and went to testwood chef instead.

Tried this place twice, both times the food was overcooked (to the point where I would go as far to say recooked) , sauces were thick and gelatinous and meat was fatty. Real shame.

Service with a smile and great food too. Best Chinese takeaway around by far.
