Wonderfood Chinese Takeaway in Monmouthshire

Ordered the set meal for 4 and some extras. Honestly, it exceeded all expectations and was absolutely fantastic. Everything was hot, fresh, bursting with flavour with very generous portions. The lady who took our order and delivery driver were really friendly. Can't recommend this place enough! Top marks. Thank you so much. A+++

Really impressed. Our first visit this past weekend after moving nearby, and we've quickly found our Chinese takeaway. Ordered a set meal for 4, and every part of that meal was fantastic. Well packed, hot, generous portions, and delicious. Really friendly too!

can't believe we have only just tried this place!! We have had 2 orders in the past week and they have both been amazing. We will be regular customers from now on, best Chinese in Chepstow by far. As a fan of Chinese food, I have tried many Chinese food restaurants and takeaways in many towns and cities and as such, I have developed a very high standards when it comes to appreciating good food and can tell when food that is prepared using fresh and high quality ingredients and Wonderfood has served me such food every time. I tried hard to recommend a particular dish but I absolutely enjoyed every meal I ordered from them that it’s only fair for me to recommend the entire menu.

Very bland food… spare ribs. Really not worth having.. worst I’ve ever had from a Chinese takeaway.

Amazing Service and amazing food, not ordered from here for a while but did when i first moved into the area and this was my favourite Chinese at the time. Ordered last night for a valentines treat, love the crispy chilli beef, always cooked to perfection and i make sure i always double up on this so there is some for the next day. Prices are good, portion sizes are of good size and the girl on the telephone when ordering is always very polite. Delivery time as promised on the phone, thank you.

We have ordered from here countless times and it’s has been excellent every single time. FYI there not on just eat and it’s cash only. We have tried lots of dishes and they are always delicious! Always hot and always tasty! Best Chinese we have ever eaten (not just in Chepstow!)

This was the first time I tried this takeaway,I have had countless Chinese meals and I can only describe the meals I had tonight as absolutely spectacular,I could taste every individual ingredient,cooked to perfection,never have I had a meal anywhere this good before, fantastic,

Uses brown rice instead of white. It's okay. Decent food and delivery. Only takes cash.

Great fresh cooked food. Vegetable chow mein didn't scrimp on the vegetables, rice was light and tasty, nice vegetable spring rolls and decent size chicken balls. Great price for everything ordered, would recommend and will definitely be back.

First visit to this takeaway today, our usual Chinese takeaway not open, no gripes, food piping hot & tasty, as it should be, will visit again and hopefully food will be as good on next visit.

Asked for advice on vegan good, specifically said no egg or diary in my food and I got egg fried rice after asking for boiled

Think this place deserves an up to date review. We love wonderfood! Salt and peppers chips, Peking dishes, BBQ sauce, satay sauce..... actually make that everything on the menu is damn good!! Always happy, never disappointed. Our household were boarder line addicted to the salt and pepper chips at one point. Always our go to in Chepstow. Family run business, always polite on the phone. Our pick up goes by our housemates name Ben which they always say on the call and they probably know us by face when any three of us pick it up. Personal service goes a long way! Thanks wonderfood!!

Normally very good but this time I ordered a set meal for one for with bbq sauce and the bbq sauce was barely present. Made the rice, chips and chicken ball combo very dry indeed.

Very helpful child on the phone, took my order then because I'm a truck driver her mammy wouldn't let the delivery go ahead. Gave postcode, vehicle registration and my number but no still no go. Yet 2 months ago they delivered to my truck

Do not go to this chinese there food is substandard at best, they have children operating the till, I just got short changed by £10 by seven year old, I know this because of how much money I left my home with, i only live a few doors down, I had just put the money in me wallet and that was the first place I went, I asked for a till check and they got shittie with me and basically called me a liar, I don't make a habit of writing reviews but I also don't like being robbed by my neighbour's . I realise I had given her to much money and asked her to check before she put it in the till and she refused and put it in there anyway . If you decide to give us our £10 back we live at 56, if you do that I will remove this post.
