Robyn was our server and she was amazing! Very polite, checked on us and asked how our food and drinks were! Definitely would recommend! 🙂

I went for food at this pub and had Robyn as my server, she was so polite and overall an amazing server, she was kind, patient and attentive throughout my whole dining experience, I could not ask for better service and highly recommend asking to be seated in her section when eating there.

I take my mun out for breakfast every week. We really enjoy it. We go one week orn a Tuesday the next week we go on a Thursday. We uselly get either Kate and Lina. They really know us now. We get great service and warm plates. My mum is an oap so she orders a child breakfast. We are really get looked after. One time it was really cold Lina bought us a heater over. Good choice of food. All cooked lovely. I can honestly say this is a great place for breakfast. Great staff. But a big shout out to both Kate and Lina for taking time to get to know us and treating us with so much respect and friendship. See you soon.

Always very friendly and clean and tidy

Friendly staff, but Caitlyn is always so nice and professional and helpful, looked after me when I had a health scare. Food is tasty

This was a lunchtime visit, and all the food was excellent. The meat was well cooked and tasty. The vegetables were fresh. The Yorkshire puddings were crisp but not too hard. Thank you.

Wolverton house has such a lovely atmosphere and wonderful staff. I came a few days ago and the waitress was very polite and accommodating, and the chefs were just as lovely. Shout out to my Lina and Caitlin for serving us and looking after us!

Food was delicious and service was really good. Cheesy mash was perfect! Downloaded the Stonehouse app and saved 50% on meals and 25% on desserts!!

We went out for a meal me my partner and are daughter.. the place was very welcoming and felt at ease straight away. We was served by a girl called Tammy that was very happy and helpful. Is was nice to see a happy face as i just finished work and it was a busy day.. The food was yummy and I wasn’t disappointed one bit. Also the manger seemed really lovely and helpful also.

We was served by Tammy today, she was very polite, very well presented and couldn’t do enough for us, the food was great too, the gammon was to die for! That alone is enough for us to want to return. We will be back here 100%.

***UPDATE/EDIT*** Since my review and reply from Wolverton House, I have spoken to the Manager to discuss this matter further. She was absolutely lovely and said they have taken all my comments on board, and working with the staff to make adjustments or improvements where required. The problem in the toilets has been escalated to head office and will be rectified urgently. I will always give an honest review and credit where due. I was very impressed with how they handled this, and take customers reviews and comments as constructive criticism of where they may improve. Thank you for listening, and because of your fantastic customer service, great staff and excellent food, I will most certainly return. The food was tasty, and the staff were lovely. However, this place needs a complete renovation as the layout is dangerous and everything just felt grubby. During a recent visit with friends and family, I tripped down a step that wasn't clearly marked, the toilets had a broken / exposed waste pipe and absolutely stunk of excrement, the quarry floor tiles by the carvery are dangerous as i slipped on a chip which i then wiped up myself with napkins as no member of staff was available. Our reserved table was filthy and sticky and one guest had food stuck to his trousers from under the table. There wasn't enough cutlery on our table, the lighting was poor, the carpets were sticky, and it was very dangerous with people walking to their tables with a hot meal in hand and kids running around, and basically a human traffic jam with the poor layout. I didn't want to put a negative review on here, but after contacting the head office and putting in a complaint, I received a generic reply to thank me for my feedback and sorry for my poor experience. That didn't satisfy my disappointment or give me any feedback as to how they would rectify these problems apart from saying the toilets would be investigated. I was also overcharged for my meals as I ordered the large carvery for everyone, added pigs in blankets at an extra cost, ordered 1 vegan meal, but was charged for the meat carvery, and not everyone got their pigs in blankets either. The food was tasty and the staff were pleasant but overall it was a poor experience and the place desperately needs a complete overhaul.

Absolutely love this place. Have been coming here for over 30 years, with my children and grandchildren. Service is excellent.. Friendly and approachable.. DOG 🐶 friendly and definitely children. FOOD is great... Definitely the best it has ever been now on 2024..Love it here 😊

Been coming here since we were kiddies. Since the first time we came in to our visit now the food, the service, the staff and the atmosphere has always been beyond delightful. We have always left with a full belly and a smile on our face, thanks to the staff, especially thanks to the wonderful service from both Tammi and Georgia. Me and my family come to Wolverton storehouse and have been since we were children, the food is always delicious, the staff are always friendly, especially Georgia and Tammy who we see on a regular basis. The atmosphere is always lovely no matter who you’re bringing with you! Cannot fault them for anything.

My favourite garden pub, not gonna lie the food it’s ok but the best here is the garden with a huge play area where you can have a pint while the kids have fun in the playground, there’s also a field where they can play ball, dog are allowed and the atmosphere is very nice.

Our waitress robyn was very welcoming and an absolute star. Very nice evening out.

Two of us stopped at Wolverton House this morning, as we have quite a few times, for a breakfast bap, and coffee after a run along the river bank. As usual the bacon, and sausage baps, with egg and hash browns, and unlimited coffee were just what we needed. The staff were their usual friendly selves, which is great. We go midweek mostly, so it's a bit quieter then, it can get busy at weekends, testament to how good, and popular it is.

The carvery is very good, better than then ones from other places. Can be very busy depending on the day and time. So plan accordingly or just prepare to be patient.

Went for the carvery. Person serving was really polite and nice. The food was alright, veg was a bit over done but otherwise little to complain about. A firm medium price point vs quality/portion size. So yeah, not exactly posh nosh but does what its supposed to do!

Left before we had the food as they weren’t offering a time span that they could get us our food by. They said the carvery was the only option as they were backlogged. Went to harvester instead.

Very nice cozy place amazing carvery nice service we go there often, very affordable and pricey

Carvery is hit and miss. Sometimes the cauliflower cheese is like a puree it is so overcooked and other times its firm and cheesey. The beef is usually overdone. The turkey is often dry. The staff are polite, friendly and welcoming. I love that its pet friendly. Its good value for food in general.

I have just had a really good experience in wolverton house…. The young lady called Georgia, was so helpful and polite, as soon as I walked in she was wonderful. A total credit to the place. I had the most perfect beef this evening, it was absolutely the best I’ve had. Fed me and my two children for a few quid and plenty of smiles. Thanks ladies 👍🏼

We visited on a Sunday and chose the Carvery option, which was priced at £12.99 for adults and £5.99 for kids. The place was busy, but unfortunately, there was only one server at the carvery station, which caused significant delays. We ended up waiting almost 30 minutes in line, and with two young boys, it felt like a long wait, especially when you can see the food in front of you. On the positive side, the food was great—the meat was tender and juicy, and the roast potatoes were delicious. However, I found it odd that kids are limited to just one type of meat. Overall, I probably wouldn’t return, primarily because of the long wait time.

I didn't have a bunch of time earlier to write anything, but this is one of our favourite places to go. :) Carvery is top notch, and we love going, it's a nice place to visit.

First time here,impressed with the Property and superb value for money!!. Booked a table within an hr on a Sunday,what a result. Will be back,Very friendly staff who know how too serve and real chatty.

I have SO MANY good things to say about this place. The staff make you feel so welcome, we come here often as a couple or with the kids, we've even brought extended family for Xmas. The current team are brilliant, the manager is so considerate and genuinely wants to make sure everyone is happy, the rest of front of house really follow her example as well. Scott needs an award, he makes the BEST carvery, he should teach others how to take as much pride in theirs! We get so happy when we know Scott's on because the roasties will be amazing! This has fast become our regular place to eat, we adore carvery, the kids love pizza or burgers and the weekday deals make it so much more affordable in the current financial climate. Now this next part needs to be in capitals, GET THE STONEHOUSE APP! I cannot believe how many people aren't using this and getting £6 carveries or free meals or 30% off their bill. Not many restaurants are affordable these days and with a large family we're always deal hunting. This place is always busy and for good reason. It ticks a few boxes for us - relaxed, so the kids can be kids. Deals, so we can save money. Delicious without the price tag. Staff who live and breathe customer service - this for me is so hard to find these days and is what makes this place, it's why it's better than Peartree Bridge Stonehouse.

Me and some friends went to try some food here was served by the lovely Georgia. She made everything really simple and made us feel very welcomed. The food and drinks were perfect and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning.

Went here tonight at 6pm went to order our meals and were told they had run out of meat for the carvery then ordered other meals which cost more presentation lots to be desired mushroom with little spots of lettuce underneath main came before starter was finished what a shame. Puddings were great also car park was unlit very dark taxi drove into a Bush my friends husband caught his stick on a bollard good job it wasn't him did report this and was told nothing could be done about it thank you for your reply have tried to ring but no reply what would be a good time for you

Took 30 minutes to get our drink as they didn’t have a ticket. No one to explain you can just show your receipt at the buffet if you pay by phone. Menu said 4 meats in their roast and was only 3. Disappointing and the food was cold

This is still one of my favourite places to come and eat and to have a drink, the staff are always so friendly and helpful. The pub is always clean and the atmosphere is always happy and chilled. The gardens are beautiful the children love coming here to see the park and play in the garden areas. The food is always spot on and the pizzas are our favourite! Lool forward to the next visit.

Absolutely love going to this carvery the staff are amazing the food is absolutely lovely for the price you pay and it’s a good price! The staff are very welcoming ! Booked a table which was reserved for once, not busy at all, no queue for food really, meats were good, and a good portion given for a change, veg wasn't so nice, potatoes were dry not crispy, had been sat a while

Just a good all round experience

We popped in on the off chance as traffic was absolutely grid locked and didnt fancy waiting around to get back to the Midlands. So with an hour or so to spare we visited the Wolverton House. The food did not disappoint.... Fresh, hot and tasty carvery meats. Nice selection of fresh vegetables and potatoes. Friendly chef, staff and management.

Breakfast is the best for any tradesmen who use food vans and get real value and choice at Wolverton house. You'll thank me they'll even do a takeaway

When driving into the road by Wolverton house there are no lights at all so looks derelict. Really need to add or replace lighting as food really good otherwise

Staff were all over worked poor service location of table was an absolute joke we didn't enjoy our dinner because we were cold and over crowed. We were given a free rounds if drinks but to be fair it didn't really help. It felt like the took on more than they could chew we paid for 7 adults and 2 children and a baby So It wasn't cheap and we were all so excited only to feel let down. Wouldn't go back unfortunately for a Christmas meal total disaster from start till end. Would not recommend we are so disappointed. No Christmas vibe at all felt like a normal Carvery

Such a cosy Christmassy atmosphere, the staff were all so friendly and cheerfully in the Christmas spirit! Absolutely lovely food, will definitely be back
