Wok's Cooking in Wigan

2 portions of salt and pepper chips ordered but they were too salty to even eat. Normally salt and pepper chips come with peppers and onions but there was nothing. Won't be going again.

First time in going there, will be back the mini spring rolls, absolutely gorgeous, special fried rice five out of five stars.

Awful! Salt and pepper ribs are deep fried, look awful and taste awful! Beef with Szechuan sauce is possibly the worst take away food I've ever tasted! Chicken with Thai style sauce I'm really not sure what was Thai about it not what I was expecting but to be fair it wasn't awful it was alright. Back on the Szechuan sauce though I'd rather lick the inside of a dirty toilet bowl

I work at Domino's across the road from this place and thought I'd give it a try and got to say the large chicken spring rolls from this place are the best I've had, absolutely delicious 🤤

Wok's cooking is by far the best in chinese in Standish, their customer service is superb. Our go to everytime. Highly recommend.

Good Chinese food from a busy takeaway

Portions, quality and ingredients are poor, disappointing!

Being generous with half. Over an hour late, rang to be told the order is sitting waiting fir driver, 10 mins maximum. Over an hour later still no food, the guy taking the orders put the phone down on me twice. Thankfully ordered through just eat so refund was given straight away.

Salt and pepper chips are just chips with salt poured over them!!! Horrendous!!

The food is really well cooked, and the portions are reasonable. However, this place is stingy and the quality of some ingredients is cheap as well. There was a time when bamboo shoots and water chestnuts were a staple now it's carrot and onion and you pay over £2 for these. Also, spending over £20 had always resulted in a free portion of prawn crackers but apparently not now. Java used this place a lot but won't be coming back because of poor quality ingredients and stingy attitude to repeat customers

Food okay, but waited over 40 minutes in shop for food. Hygiene 4 stars but service 1 star.

avoid like the plague, I think I caught it!! chips were oven chips?! really. chicken wings were pale and anemic. save the trips to the loo and drive 10 more mins to peters!!! you have been warned!!

Truly appalling. Waited for an hour. They got the order wrong and what was delivered went straight in the bin. Cold unappetizing food awash with onions. Whoever orders from here and eats deep fried battered food covered in grease has poor taste. This experience has put me off ordering takeaway for life.

Our meal was ready to collect on time. The food was fresh, hot and tasted fantastic. We had duck kung po and sweet and sour pork Cantonese style and both were excellent. Only slight criticism was no cashew nuts in the kung po duck but that didn't spoil it. Would recommend.

Really like the food at this place but waited over 2 hours tonight! Rang twice and they said they knew we were delayed, apologised but still we waited another hour for the food to arrive. Turned up with 10 fortune cookies, food was hot but quality was not as good as we have been used to in the past.

this is the third order , All three have been late the food was cold and the customer service from just eat is poor just got fobbed off. going to delete my app won’t used it again. I even left a note when I ordered to ensure the delivery time was met. Food was very cold £52.00 wasted.

Ok, I get it, Saturday night is busy. But over an hour late - over 2 hours for delivery is very, very poor. I called the restaurant when the app said the order was delivered (it wasn't). They said it's on it's way soon. It was nearly an hour after this phonecall when it arrived. All I can say is, don't order if you're hungry. Get your order in on Monday morning ready for the weekend - that's how long it'll take.

Just purchased tea for two ,szechuan chicken, and chilli and garlic chicken. The szechuan chicken was missing the szechuan, the chilli and garlic chicken was missing the garlic and chilli, in fact both dishes tasted the same. We havnt ordrered from here for over 12 months due to a down turn in quality, it appears that there has been no change or improvement.

Waited 2 hour and 10 mins for our food absolutely a disgrace I rang up they said they where busy don’t take my order then if you can’t cope! When food FINALLY ARRIVED!!! It was nice but sorry waiting 2 hours 10 mins is just not good enough!!!

Food was nice however no prawn crackers which you usually get included. Would have ordered if known. Ordered just after 5pm, got given a time of 6 pm which got changed to 6:15 then 6:25 eventually arrived at 6:40....

The food was good, not the best Chinese I’ve ever had but far from terrible. Was told delivery would be a hour but turned up 45 mins late. We rang after it being 20 mins late and was told it would be 5 mins. Like a said food was good but can’t keep to times.

The food was cold when arrived which considering it was late was out of order! It was also not as described on just eat. Overall I'm very disappointed with the quality and will never be ordering from you again!

average food . 1.30 minutes late . rang the restaurant to be told it would be ten minutes and on its way to then wait another 35 minutes to ring again to be told it was on its way again and was another fifteen minutes . they should set expectations properly . update the app properly with correct timings we placed this order at 6.30pm knowing it would be an hour the app and restaurant confirmed 7.30 delivery and it came at 9.10pm . waste of money

Marked as delivered on app an hour later still hadn't arrived, thus went to collect. Upon arrival at outlet order hadn't even been started currently been waiting 1 hr 30mins. When food finally ready we received no apology for level of service. Did not get delivery charge refunded. Return home to find burnt pan scrapings mixed through meals. Even the dogs didn't enjoy eating it. Think twice before going to this "fast food" outlet as we where not the only dissatisfied customers this evening.

food was good but on ordering was advised 55 minute wait for delivery after 75 minutes called as was told we were next after 2 hours called again and advised driver was on way, in total waited 2 hours 20 minutes for delivery 😩😡

Their computer automatically says delivered when the delivery time us reached. I rang up when 10 minutes late and it took another hour to arrive

Waited over 90 minutes for delivery. App showed food had been delivered. Rang Wok who were apologetic but it still took another 40 minutes to arrive. Was tasty though.

Like a soggy sock on the mornings evening. Tofu was soggy. Good salt and pepper though, tofu needs frying more to be perfect! Tofu Satay was good

My favourite Chinese in Wigan.

Everything was great apart from the Singapore rice,the receipt appears to have changed and its almost like curry has been used. We wont be ordering that again which is a great shame. Service and delivery spot on.

Piping hot, fresh, tasty food. Delivery about an hour but that's on Friday night. Would definitely order again.

Decent enough food, the chow mein was a bit too salty, other than that though no problem. Delivery was requested asap - Just-Eat said 45 minutes estimated delivery time, but was delivered in about 15-20 minutes. No problem, I was starving!!!

We order from woks cooking whenever we get take out as its always spot on but was disappointed with tonight's meal. Didn't seem as fresh and our favourite salt and pepper chicken contained hardly any chicken :(

Collection time was quick and the food was piping hot. I didn't like the 'salt and pepper ribs' they just tasted salty and are made in like a batter, everything else was nice though. The spare ribs where lovely.

PERFECT! Beautiful quality food that is worth the wait, although tonight delivered bang on time! Yes, you can find other takeaways that deliver more quickly, but in my opinion, they are much inferior and Woks Cooking - so take your choice. Outstanding , thankyou.

Food was cold and had spilled out of the containers

Food was excellent but delivery very poor. It was Nee Years eve so I didn't mind a bit of a delay but it took more than two hours. The Just Eat app told us it had already been delivered but it was another hour after that. When I rang the takeaway said it was how the system worked. I would have happily accepted an apology and the truth but was fobbed off. The food was good though so it should be quicker on another night?
