! ! Absoluto con. No comas aquí.

Tried Wok & Go at lunch with a friend and chose to do the two meals for £10. We sat in and both rated our food quite highly (Thai green chicken curry as well as soy sauce chicken). However, even though it was rather quiet, waiting for the food did take up most of our lunch break.

The staff who served me were rude and dismissive when asked questions, service was poor as took a lengthy amount of time for one meal when the place was empty, my food was 90% grease 10% noodles which they overloaded with sauce that felt gritty and disgusting in my mouth. Had to pour out the grease from the plastic container my food was in in order to make it consumable. Used to love this place however this most recent experience has put me off for good! Waste of time and money, wouldn’t recommend.

Bland, warm noodles with a tasteless orange sauce. Pad Thai had no nuts in it. Radio station blaring out, which was not a plus point. The place was warm, clean and well located.

I ordered the Tofu Hot Box and it was fantastic! Very spicy but that is what I like and how it is advertised. The service I received was great too, including being told about the half price veggie box offer on Mondays! I will be back :)

They served us food that was impossible to eat. Don't recommend the mee gee box, the chef put in it at least one liter of spice sauce, and the food was horrible of salt quantity. The day after that we had a lot of stomach problems, maybe cause of food condition, maybe cause of spice (despite we didn't eat a major part of the noodle box). They refused to change us the food, but afterwards he apologized about the food, which was simply ridiculous. Worst place i visited in Manchester.

I suppose my son and I could have passed by on the basis that on a really busy Saturday lunchtime in central Manchester if a noodle bar had 1 person sitting in it out of 50 seating spaces, it was probably not worth it. We would have been right to pass by, but we went in and had an experience that was about as mediocre as it gets. This review has to be measured against the fact it has takeaway prices and is not a restaurant. But it can still so better than this. Guy behind the counter (tattooed arms, obviously loved himself) had the service skills of a newt and appeared to have taken mogodon. He obviously thinks a “wrap” comes in a box just like the other box we did in fact order. We were in a rush, so I couldn’t be bothered complaining. Pad Thai should have won an award for blandness. My black bean “wrap” without a wrap was alright. No offer or request whether we would like a drink. Premises looked like some thought had been put in with what could have been an interesting room at the back but the overall impression was dank. Won’t be back. Obviously most of Manchester thinks the same.

We tried here after walking past, wow. Wish we had checked TA before visiting. The food was just bland and salty. The chicken was tasteless and rubbery. Not a hint of the sauce either of us had asked for. The female on the till....... wow...... not one bit interested in being there. Avoid this place at all costs.

Me and my girlfriend arrived at 9:30 on a Sunday evening and despite the door clearly saying they closed at 10 and the staff serving a Deliveroo driver we were told they were shut and couldn’t order. I think it was more a case of couldn’t be bothered to cook rather than they were shut, definitely the impression we got.

Went for noodles on lunch...asked specifically for no shellfish due to allergy. Lo and behold (after 40 MINUTES!) I got my noodles. With prawns. Dangerous oversight. They fixed it but I used up my whole lunch hour waiting for it.

If you are used to American woks, then you are in for a bit of a disappointment. It is average and the time taken is more than what a Wok should.

I came to this place as somewhere quick to go after work before going to a gig. I would have normally gone to Rice on Piccadilly Gardens for this type of thing but that had recently shut. When I first walked in I notice it was well presented and clean. It had a colourful but simple decor with a variety of seating arrangements. The menu was just the right size. Not too many options but still enough variety. They had all the classics you would expect in a non-specific Asian restaurant. Although, it did give size options for some of the dishes but there was nothing on the menu to give context to these sizes. I chose a large Pad Thai as I would need a full meal. This came to £8 which is fairly pricey for a noodle dish like this, though given the central location of the restaurant, I wasn't surprised. I ordered at the counter and was told there would be a ten minute wait. I was given a flat square device which the young lady behind the counter informed me would 'buzz when my order was ready'. The wait sounded fairly long considering what I had ordered and how quite the restaurant was. I took my seat with this device placed on the table in front of me while I busied myself with my phone. Every so often a flash from the device would catch my eye. I became restless think maybe that was the device buzz and it's just very subtle. I continued to wait and then it unmistakably started buzzing and I carrier it to the counter if only it make it stop. This whole routine felt rather cold and unnecessary. I picked the tray with the pad Thai which was unceremoniously dumped into a white cardboard container. But that was my expectation anyway. I was given the offer of chopsticks and a sufficient number of napkins to clean up the chopstick related mess that would ensue. The food itself was kind of a glutinous mass of slightly red tinged noodles which is was more or less what I expected. I found the flavour to be almost non-existent. I tasted like it had fallen in the sink and had become watered down as a result. It seemed very over cooked, the noodles had lost all their structure. The chicken was an absolute mess with a texture somewhere between tin tuna and wet toilet paper. There were several florets of broccoli throughout but it mushy like the stuff your nan makes. I ate the whole thing because at least it was edible. Although, if I was paying £8 I would expect a bit more than food that was just about edible. There are places in Manchester city that could do much more than this for less money. It's disappointing because the venue looks so promising and would be a great foundation to start from. But the service felt quite anti-social and the food was poor value for money. I don't feel traumatised by the experience but I wouldn't recommend this place, nor would I return any time soon.

Excellent lunch time deal with really good portion size and lots of choice. All options seem to be able to be made for vegetarian or vegan too. Highly recommend.

The food was spectacular, especially the mango sticky rice, which was divine. The restaurant's interior is stunning and provides a serene atmosphere perfect for dating, conversation, and enjoying delicious Thai cuisine. There was only one staff member working during our visit; she managed taking orders, preparing and serving food, while also attending to children. She was incredibly kind and humble. Kudos to that staff member for balancing her professional duties with her role as a mother.
