Wok Wow in Blackpool

This Chinese takeaway is possibly the best takeaway I have had. The salt and pepper chips and curry sauce is amazing and I recommend this to people who like spicy foods and seasoning, I would definitely recommend coming here and I will most certainly come back. The staff are also really lovely.

My family has used this take-away in Layton for a very long time, and has always been our 'go to' Chinese restaurant, the food has always been amazing, for at least the last 15 years. However I didn't realise it had changed management! Alarm bells should have sounded when I ordered on the phone and they wouldn't allow me to pay by card. The food arrived it didn't even smell particularly pleasant before we took it out of the containers. My wife had Duck in Plum sauce - the duck fat was not rendered down and half the meal comprised of thick gelatinous white fat floating around in something that resembled dog vomit, while the other half was a rancid tin of pineapple chunks poured over the top. Disgusting! The plum sauce was tasteless and obviously an old sachet they'd found at the bottom of a freezer. The crispy beef was no more than crispy sugar strands with very little beef contained within! The chow mein was a tub of congealed noodles, which looked to have been left over from a time gone by and reheated into a stodgy, slimy mass of starch and little else. The whole meal was totally unacceptable and ended up in the bin after only a few mouthfuls. I was really tempted to post all the left-overs through their letterbox, but thought better of it. I felt unable to complain, as the lady on the desk barely understood what I wanted to order, let alone a rant over the phone, as she spoke little english, and after reading other reviews, unfortunately after the event, knew this was pointless anyway! I can't believe I wasted nearly £30 of hard earned cash on this puke! How this restaurant is allowed to operate is beyond me. Never Never again! Don't waste your money!

Really nice foo deffo recommend this place! I did receive one order wrong however they got it sent out straight away! Delivery drive was very polite. deffo recommend spot on well done folks.

Paid 12.50 for a special chow mien fried rice and crackers . Seriously the chef needs to go back to china and learn how to cook shocking never seen anything like it no chicken pork or prawns just dried up (beef) or I hope it was beef . The noodles I think was last weeks not worth the money even at 1/2 the price how the hell is this still open

Have been ordering from here for years, have gradually noticed a decline. Today's was the worst order, hardly any meat on the ribs and the sauce lacking in flavour. Rang to discuss and they did not care. Will not be ordering from here again.
