Wok 'n' Roe in Brent

Used to be proper good. Nowadays it's heading one way only. Service is painfully slow unless using a delivery app. Phoned an order through to save the wait but the girl on the counter knew nothing. A poor lady stood behind me for at least 10 minutes waiting to order whilst 3 riders came and collected. A couple sat eating in had the meal brought to them in 3 different visits. Needs a serious uplift of standards otherwise they'll lose a regular customer

I am unsure if this has changed management- She wrapped up my fish & chips & didn’t ask me if I wanted salt and vinegar. I thought it was someone else’s food that she was wrapping up. I said to her, have you put salt & vinegar on it - She said she had put just salt. I told her that I wanted vinegar on it & she said to me “ you can put that on at home” She said that the vinegar would make the fish soggy. Very rude !

Absolutely disgusting, a battered sausage that was both soggy and dry. Fried chicken that was dry it was like powder. I haven’t eaten here in years abs I was passing so thought I’d get some. Honestly you are better of anywhere else. The chips were soggy old and nasty. I don’t know how people are rating this highly other than friends of staff as what they have written was not what I was served. Eat there at your own disappoint I won’t be going back that’s for sure.

Avoid this place, The oil and batter in the food is poor, soggy and not tasty at all.Staff especially the indian skinny guy is rude and doesn't have a clue how to speak with customers who have been coming to the shop before he was even born.Don't go here unless you see the owners cooking the food. They need to use better oil and products.

This is the last time I come to this place, The chef who cooked the food is not the owner the food standard of this place has really gone down when the owners are not cooking the food. The staff especially the Asian or the Indian looking guy is rude he doesn’t listen he jumps to his own conclusion and he is not customer friendly. The food was not a full container when you’ve asked for the big box instead you’ve got a half full box. The taste is something out of old stock of food. if you want to value your health and life I will suggest do you not go to this place unless the owner is cooking the food.

I've had more than my fair share of Fish and Chips. Some may even go as far to call me "a chippy connoisseur" at times. Trust me when I say that this is hands down one of the best places for Fish and Chips in town. Period.

Need a meal in a hurry and a friend I was with recommended take away fish and chips from Wok 'n' Roe. He said he was going there, so we could go together. Not been there before but I was happy to go with my friend. Glad I did, the fish and chips was absolutely delicious, so I will no doubt use Wok ''n' Roe again at some time in the future. Reasonable price too!!

The prawns were very nice. All the food items were good. But the place was not very clean. Tables chairs and floor was not clean. The price was very reasonable.

The noodles are very cheap and really good, I recommend them. Also the lunch box is very big for the price, and the cashew sauce is amazing.

Please avoid this place if you want fish and chips It continues to go down hill They need to learn to cook tasty fish and chips

There were literally just two small ( less than 1 inch long) chicken pieces in the dish. They might as well call chicken ‘ flavoured’ rice. Quick service and the price is ok. Rather go somewhere I’ll pay a bit more for real chicken:)

A quick service is guaranteed here and the food is pretty good. A good selection always fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. Best for takeaway

Close to big venues generally means not that great. Didn’t have a great tasting chips, they were greasy and slightly burnt. They appeared to be fried in oil that was old. I may have caught it on a bad day on 2 occasion but I would not really recommend it.

At last, I've found a decent and reasonably priced, fish and chip shop. Good chips. Choice of all the usual stuff you find in a chippy. Obviously does all the Oriental dishes as well which looked very well priced. Definitely gonna try them next time. You can spend a fortune on blow average burgers and the like both on the Wembley way and inside Wembley stadium. My advice is to come out of the quieter exit on the tube (not the one with the stairs down to Wembley Way and cross the road for some chips and something of your choice. Do it.

£6.99 for just cooked and tasty fish & chips and can of drink. And on a match night the large queue moved quickly. In neighbouring Harrow I pay £7.30 just for a piece of fish. Opposite Wembley Park station and 15-25 minutes from the stadium depending on crowd size. Usually I'm suspicious of places that do multiple cuisines, but judging by the fish & chips I'd guess the rest is good.

Stopped off here after a gig to grab a take-away. Decent piece of fish, chips were fresh too so overall it was nice end to the evening.

Minimal wait (although it was busy before an England game) hot, fresh fish and crispy, not greasy chips / three large pieces of chicken and chips for not much more than a tenner, in London - you can't complain. And we didn't.

Me and my partner visited this place today as we heard good comments about the fish and chips they offer. I ordered a large portion of fish and chips with curry sauce and a extra small portion of chips extra. So when I brought it back home and opened it, it was as if the fish lost to mike tyson in a boxing match! It was battered, squashed, mashed, and bashed. The fish was really chewy and the chips were dry, had to brush my teeth twice after eating it! The curry sauce was lumpy, but nothing compared to the chips and fish. The place was also dirty with chips all over the shop floor and dirty plates clearly visible in sight. The food might look good in pictures but not when you eat it! Not worth the money, guys I do not recommend this place at all! Yuk!

Quick bites, cheap prices, not anything to write home about. Certain chinese dishes very tasty, King Prawns are hit and miss, sometimes not on menu.

I dont really know where all these 5 star review are coming from. I work across the road from this place and have to say the only decent thing they have is their fish and chips. As far as the chinese i wouldnt go near it. Someone once said never trust a place that does everything this is a great example of this. Stick to the fish and chips 4star at most and avoid chinese.

I really liked it. I was going to order a large cod. But went for a small one as trying to be healthy in January.

The best comfort snack. Chips Salt Plus heaps of other dishes i did not try yet Aaaaaaaaah Yummmm Vinegar.

Best take away in London I kid you not. Amazing chicken, homemade fries, friendly service and good vegetarian options. Best served hungover

The food here is excellent value for money. I order takeaway once a week (collection of course) and have hardly been disappointed!!!!

Being a Barnsley fan and regular visitor to Wembley (cough cough) we have been here 3 times and it's brilliant. The pros are friendly service , reasonable prices (so unlike everything else they do not double the price when an events on) couple of tables inside but basically a takeaway. Never had a bad meal it's ideal for a pre-match takeaway.

They do chinese, fish and chips fried chicken ribs. You can eat it there or takeaway. The staff are very friendly

You can eat in the shop, and I have, but I mostly use the takeaway service. They have a selection of fried chicken, Fish & Chips, and the usual pies, saveloys from a traditional British chippy, and a fine selection of Chinese dishes. But my absolute favourite is the barbecue ribs. They will provide the Chinese style ribs, but should you wish these USA style barbecue ribs are marvellous. I only have one complaint, which is I will find they will sell out of these ribs before I get there, because of this revue. The other problem with this chippy, is that they close. (it is 12.30am now)

We had a great experience, good quality food with great service is usually hard to find. Definitely visiting again soon!

Excellent, choice, value for money, was visiting Wembley stadium and fancied some Chinese food, tasty would recommend to anyone visiting the stadium to try it, will be going back next time i'm there. Very friendly staff, polite and happy to help

Travelled here recently. The food is fantastic and excellent customer service. They service a mix of fish and chips, chicken and chip and chinese. For london the shop is well priced and very busy. A good place for a quick bite to eat.
