Ordered a takeaway online at 7.10pm and by 7.20pm it was ready. How can you cook two meals fresh in 10 mins? We live across the road and we were home again by 7.25pm and yet the meals were just luke warm. Had to heat it up in the microwave. Chicken cold in the middle. Awful!

Always fresh and quick delivery. You can tell the difference in quality vs other chinese takeaways. Always a good choice when you want something fresher. Fav dishes include Salt pepper ribs Salt pepper chips Thai curries Jasmine rice Chicken fried rice Sweet sour chicken Crispy shredded beef Ha kow dumplings Fillet beef oyster sauce Singapore vermicelli Shredded duck Fillet beef never chewy or gritty and prawns are lovely juicy king prawns. Great quality ingredients

Waste of £20 ordering. Wish I hadn't bothered. Awful, dry and basic food that is so over priced. Don't waste your money.

We ordered Pad Thai, Salt & Pepper Squid, S&P chicken wings & chips. Pad Thai noodles were over cooked as were the veg & chicken & prawns had a hideous disinfectant taste. Chicken wings were definitely reheated & cooked days ago; rubbery with withering meat. Squid; soggy & flaccid. Chips; my dogs would eat them. What a hideous waste of money.

For my wife’s birthday we decided to order a Takeaway from wok to go. We ordered online and decided to stay in and have a drink to celebrate so had it delivered The confirmation email showed two dishes were missing. We tried to call but no one picked up. So I had to go down in person to add the extra meals to the order. There was no apology! In fact the staff were bordering on being rude. I paid the difference and decided to wait outside they said my order would be 25 mins which seemed about right as that tied in with the original home delivery slot. After waiting outside for an hour I went in to check and I was told it was still not ready. Wish me luck as I try again! 80mins later. Rude Terrible customer service Disorganised

Ordered from here this evening....TERRIBLE choice! Poor food and service. Paid £35 and wish i hadnt bothered. Food was tasteless and we had waited for 90 minutes. Save your money and go elsewhere....we will not be going back. More water than hoover dam and less flavour than a pack of plain crisp!!! Rather have a pot noodle!!!!

It’s been a while since I’ve been to wok2go. Always enjoyed it as the food was tasty, lots of veg and felt reasonably healthy for a takeaway. So when I received an email stating they were now delivering to my area (with a £2.50 delivery charge for a Monday evening ) I decided to give it a go. The salt and pepper ribs had only one mouthful of meat the rest was pure fat. The prawn filo was tasteless and the chilli sauce was far too hot to go with prawns. The vermicelli..... prawns were very salty and the vermicelli has an overpowering taste of curry powder. Very disappointing especially compared to previous meals at wok2go.

The supervisor Adam is just plain rude, and lets the place down. We ordered a chicken teriyaki flatbread to be delivered, it arrived with no chicken so we called to let them know. We were left on hold for 5 minutes whilst the girl who answered the phone went to ask for advice. She came back and said bring it back to the shop for a refund when I explained that I paid for delivery she went back and forth to her supervisor. I asked to speak to the supervisor who told me bring it back tomorrow If I want a refund. So again I explained that I have paid for a meal that has no chicken in and I paid for it to be delivered surely thats not how it works. Adam rudely told us and I quote thats how it works around here. If I want it looked into, to bring the food into the shop the next day! Shocking I wont be ordering from here again. Terrible food really bland and tasteless...sauce so fine it rolled off the plate...dreadful! I have never written a review before but felt the need to as overpriced and dreadful!

Ordered a takeaway and asked for pad Thai WITHOUT prawns due to allergy. Food turned up and prawns in pad Thai - we all make mistakes not end of the world. Called to explain and was told they could replace but at least an hour wait- we live 5 mins walk away... I said leave it and just do refund, girl on phone bless her was speaking to George the manager who said you’ll have to bring it back . I reminded her due to CV 19 that wasn’t an option as we’ve all been told to stay indoors. A couple of minutes later after further discussions she has with George I’m told to put it in the freezer and bring pack post virus to get a refund... I said that could be 3 months!! She said George says that’s the only option. Asked to speak with George to be told he was too busy..... No idea on customer service and clearly don’t care about people’s dietary issues. Wish I’d looked here before giving George £58, anyway you live and learn.

Been using since it first opened but over the last 12 months quality and service has fallen considerably. Had a really bad experience last year with chillis added to dishes that did not state contained spice/chilli tang and spoke to member of staff to make them aware. I was told they would make a note to leave out chilli in any future orders I made, ordered again two weeks later same problem when I phoned staff weren’t interested. I didn’t orde for about 6 months but ordered a couple of weeks ago and strangely enough chilli in beef with oyster sauce, rang to complain this time supervisor just said there is a note on the bottom of the menu that’s states “ we cannot confirm dishes may not contain allergens “. Never asked for a refund all I wanted was editable food

Only ordered once but arrived in good time and the food was excellent. Sizzling Chilli Beef and Jasmine rice. Said to be very hot but it was just right without any after burn or tingling mouth. I think yhe amount was about right and there was enough rice. Price wise slightly more than my usual Chinese but if it is good and carries on being it will be worth it. The menu is wide ranging so another order is likely to try out something else. Watch this space.

Absolutely disgusting service. Waited over an hour and food was cold. Rang them to sort this and they put the phone down after telling me to bring the cold food back tomorrow for a refund!! AVOID!!!

Menu has changed and no longer has main meal vegetarian choices previously listed as vegetarian on the old menu but the allergy advice now states fish and crustaceans - totally unhelpful staff when queried - shocked at reading the reviews, but only supports how lousy this place has become.

Pedí tostadas de gambas que era 5. 50! ! Locura: no sabía a nada ni a ninguna salsa agridulce que normalmente obtienes de los restaurantes / comida para llevar chinos normales, ¡pero tenían la mejilla para intentar cobrar más! !El arroz sabe a ebullición en la bolsa y las salsas son acuosas y sin sabor, tan caras también, ¡creo que para dos entrantes y comidas principales fue alrededor de 40! !Evita e ir a otro lado

Pedimos una comida para llevar de Woks 3 ir en Worsley para variar. Pedimos las costillas de sal y pimienta que estaban bien. Para el plato principal pedimos el curry especial y hoi sin papas fritas cargadas de pollo. Ambos platos principales saboreaban menos y nadaban en aceite, y tardaron una hora y media en llegar. Estos platos son bastante simples de preparar, por lo que nos resulta difícil entender lo malos que eran. No vamos a ordenar el formulario aquí nuevamente.Hicimos un pedido desde aquí hace algún tiempo y eso tampoco fue genial. Para terminar con una nota positiva, las galletas de gambas estaban bien.

Este lugar es una desgracia. Pedimos toda nuestra comida vegetariana ya que no hemos comido carne en años. A mitad de la comida encontramos un gran trozo de carne. Llamé para quejarme y me dijeron que solo podían reembolsar ese plato si lo devolvía. Luego, un miembro del personal muy contundente me dijo que dice en letra pequeña que pueden ser contaminación cruzada. Nuestra comida se arruinó y ni siquiera estaban interesados en nuestra queja. Personal grosero y comida horrible.

Wok para ir entregado el pedido equivocado. A pesar de que pagamos por la entrega y de que Wok aceptara que habían recibido un error en el pedido, indicaron que la única forma de corregirlo sería que devolviéramos el pedido a la tienda para recibir un reembolso o esperar OTRA hora. Al parecer esta es su "política". Increíble que los clientes tengan que esforzarse para corregir el error de Wok to Go. Poco en el camino de una disculpa y el gerente se negó a hablarnos y dejó que el compañero de trabajo defendiera su postura. Está claro por otras reseñas aquí y en otros lugares que no les importa y piensan que pueden salirse con la suya con un servicio como este y sobreprecio.

Hemos utilizado esta comida para llevar varias veces a lo largo de los años que ha estado abiertaAunque nunca encontré que la comida fuera excepcional, nunca tuve que escribir qué tan mala estaba.Esperaba especialmente las costillas de sal y pimienta y las tenues sumas que pedimosTodos estaban sin sabor. De hecho la mayoría quedaron sin comer.Nuestro plato principal de pato era seco y sin humedad ni sabor. La salsa era el único sabor.No volveremos

Pedí un plato de arroz de tofu y bastante seguro de que no había ningún condimento añadido. Me preguntaron qué salsa quería y elegí el teriyaki, pero no había sabor de esto en el plato. Literalmente tofu, pimientos y arroz.

Tend to find reviews a bit one side most people only write one when they are disappointed, I suppose I now fall into that catogary!

Ordered delivery, sweet and sour with NO taste and NO sauce. If I wanted plain noodles then I would have ordered that. Bland food, no taste. The starter was nice

First time we have used but never again. Wings old and tasteless Teriyaki dish never been a teriyaki dish got to make a decent sauce first Singapore noodles sad really no taste spice my ? All in all crap

Entendemos que los errores ocurren, pero es la forma en que se manejan esos errores que realmente cuentan una historia sobre un negocio. Experimentamos el peor servicio al cliente en este lugar. Básicamente acusado de mentir que nuestra orden prepaga no había sido entregada. Sin disculpas por parte de un supervisor muy cercano. Cuando se descubrió que el error era su fin, no hubo disculpa ni ofrecimiento de reembolso o gesto de buena voluntad. Nos quedamos con comida tibia, que llegó una hora tarde. Nunca volveré a utilizar este lugar y nos aseguraremos de difundir el mensaje a todos los que conocemos.

¡Este es el mejor chino y todos mis compañeros estarán de acuerdo!

Bueno, tuvimos la tostada de gambas y el pollo agridulce (digamos que es la receta familiar) que pueden mantener la receta familiar suave y amarga, suave, sin sabor, sabor desagradable y no lo comimos todo, sino que lo pusimos en la basura. Hemos tenido mucha comida china de restaurantes y comida para llevar, pero este lugar gana un globo dorado de los Oscar por hacer la comida de peor sabor por el precio que pagaste. La tostada de gambas era una vez más sin sabor crujiente sobre cocinado y sin ninguna calidad en absoluto cocinado rápidamente sin ninguna atención o cuidado en la cocina. no te molestes aquí a menos que quieras las carreras y un malestar estomacal.

I have had many takeaways from here. It is always delciious, hot and generous portions. You can collect or have it delivered and usually the wait is not too long

Dette var svært smakløst. Vi var en familie på tur og var sultne da vi droppet inn hit for å få oss noe mat. Vi spiste ett par tre biter hver, men måtte deretter bare kaste maten. Det var kylling ben i woken. Maten "rant over" i eskene og bitene av både kjøtt, scampi og grønnsaker var overkokte. Dette er nok en av de dårligste matopplevelsene jeg noen sinne har opplevd. Anbefales ikke.

Excellent food, freshly made. Good quality and range of dishes. Can be a little more expensive than other local Chinese takeaways but is easily the best in the area.

Estado una vez nunca más! Dieron inicio con el orden y las costillas de repuesto sin cocer y todavía congelado. ! Terrible tomó de atrás y no pudimos conseguir el dinero ya que tuvimos que esperar para que el propietario viene en unos días más...

Esperamos 30 minutos pedir comida bien, pagamos por la comida a la entrega y propina. Encontramos una comida fuera de tres incorrectas. Acercamos al llevar me dijeron que sólo lo envió aunque había repetido pedimos las comidas para nosotros al final de la llamada original....

Buena comida. Bien hecho y preparado. Buen sitio web. Se puede recomendar la cajas de fideos. También no tan grasienta como otros establecimientos similares, toda la comida hecha en la tienda.

Just got an awful take out the chicken and sweet corn soup was inedible and the remaining food was really poor would never go back

I order regularly from them and try different things a lot, and their food is always great and delivered quickly. Definitely one of the best in the area. The only negative is that they're a bit pricey for a takeaway, but worth it.

I wide and varied menu, with wide and varied result actually . Many of the main dishes are good with plenty of flavour in them. Many of the starters are no more than ok. Ribs and wings deffo need a wide berth. Very expensive for a take away so only use occasionally

I'll start at the beginning:My wife & chose to try this takeaway as our regular chippy was closed for a holiday."45 mins for delivery" = 1hr 10mins! From Ellenbrook to Tyldesley Starters were Sui Mai which were dry, discoloured & over steamed and only had 4 in the portion (6 everywhere else!) for £3.40 Chicken/sweetcorn soup was just tasteless slop with a lack of any chicken...or taste!BBQ ribs were very burnt deep fried bones with a bitter taste & hardly any syrup.Sweet n sour chicken (and there's a pattern forming here!) was dry & chewy with hardly any sauce.Fried rice was dry and hard, again, over cooked which made us think it has been stood for some time and not freshly made at all!The salt n pepper chips were OK but tbh I expect real chips and not frozen chips for the price.There seems to be a fondness at this takeaway to just over cook EVERYTHING! I expected more of the food to be fresher as it is also overpriced but it wasn't to be.I understand that the fact we had problems with almost every dish may lessen my complaints but I'm sure once you yourself have eaten the food you can agree with a majority of our issues.Just have a snack before ordering as it takes forever to come in the first place!Maybe consider 'Treasure city' in Astley 01942 888 818 before you choose wok 2 go. It's great food every time and never hit & Miss!

Phones up to place an order to be delivered at around 10pm told us they couldn't deliver no reason was just a no. We told them we would then pick up, ordered duck and pancakes, Bbq ribs in bbq sauce.. We picked up our order no extra pancakes as requested no salad or sauce just dry pancakes n duck, no bbq sauce on the ribs, the duck I might aswel shop bought and shredded it myself, no duck even on it, just a scraggy piece that was probably shoved on the side because it was the end of the night, customer service was shocking. Phoned up to see where the rest of the order was and was spoken to rudely, no help what so ever they were more bothard about shutting the shop, told them we wanted to come back down for the rest of the order as it was pointless havin duck with no sauce, arrived at the shop for the shutters to be down and 2 guys approaching me, abruptly n rudely telling me how it's not there fault and if I want to speak to the manager I have to email, no details, no names.. I asked and it got swerved! The White guy with the long hair was rude I don't know why he thinks it's acceptable to speak to customers who are paying over the odds for crap Chinese like rubbish! £30 for abit of scraggy duck, part pack of pancakes sum dry as feet ribs and a salty soup.. Absolute joke

This is a great takeaway - never disappoints. Really great selection on the menu and the food is always really tasty. Only downside is that it's so popular they sometimes take the phone off the hook!

Definitely not customer focused bussiness!!The second time I have been there and there has been a delay which has meant I have received my food almost 2 hours after being ordered. (After initially saying it'll be 45 minutes)I spoke to a "supervisor" who belittled me as a customer and suggested unreasonable times to call me back (11pm at night for example) to try and resolve the issue. He basically tried to end the call with no promise of a time he would call me back by to resolve the issue and then he suggested after 1.45 hours of waiting that he could always cancel the order!!!!!! He told me that there was nothing he could do by way of recompense on the spot and he'd have to speak to the owner of the business to authorise any type of refund or discount on future orders.The only solution he could offer me was to call me back the next day which will involve me having to rediscuss the issue and take up more of my time.I accept that things go wrong sometimes and as a person who sometimes makes mistakes myself and is not perfect I understand. However....the approach the staff take to that is to lie to you about the expected time and then offer you no real way out of the transaction afterwards!

We had a lovely family take away meal last night the food was excellent a little on the expensive side but it was worth it. Everything was cooked to perfection and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, Would have been nice as a gesture to put a bag of prawn crackers in our order when we spent such a lot.

Well presented food not a great deal of meat or fish padded out with veg.There are probably better Chinese takeaways locally who don't scimp on portions at a more realistic price.

Food is always fresh and absolutely delicious. Staff are polite and friendly. Take out is delivered hot and 'within given time'. Fabulous place. Order from here time and time again.

Since reviewing Sweet Mandarin in Manchester I've been off Chinese. It was that bad!!Wok2go is reliably good.Duck was great.Prawn crackers typical. (Try Tampopo for the best ever!)Salt and Pepper wings good.Satay Chicken Skewers OK.Lemon chicken was good (not to my taste but my family like it)Pad Thai was a bit stodgy, and I'm sure the noodles were wheat pasta.£50 for a family takeaway was steep, but I know the duck added a big chunk.Wok2go is still the place to go for Chinese locally, but I'm starting to think that other cuisines offer better taste, quality and value around here.

We use WOK 2 GO around twice a month and usually its pretty decent. However last weekend what we recieved was poor. I ordered thai green chicken curry, and when it arrived it was absolutely swimming in oil, with a bit yellow line of oil at the top of the plastic container when I opened it. I tried ro mix it up and spoon the oil off, but there was still loads i nthe disn and I only ate about a 3rd of it as it really put me off. Usually W2G is OK, but I personally feel it has been going downhill for the lasr year or so and the portions are getting smaller and it isnt cheap either.I will be trying someone else for my next Chinese

Fantastic food service exceptional portions not great could do better.This is not the best value for money for a takeaway in the surrounding area but well worth a visit.

We often get a take away from here - the food is normally collected 10 minutes later. It's always hot and consistent. Fairly priced.

I placed a phone order from this fast food chain, I am huge fan of Chinese food and this has to be the worst Chinese meal I have ever tasted, I ordered the dim sum that tasted like rubber, I also ordered the vermicelli that consisted of 3 prawns that was no bigger than shrimps, the pork was like strips of spam and the dish was tasteless. I literally had two mouthfuls and placed it into the bin, I am shocked that they are allowed to sell such disgusting food and I certainly will not be ordering another dish from here.

Was dubious about going here as a) expensive and b) hate trying a new chinese incase disgusting but i decided to give it a go and was pleasantly surprised. Really impressed!!Ordered sweet sour chicken which was spot on, noodles which were delicious, chicken wings nice and fried rice which was ok but not the tastiest.Overall i am really impressed and i must say the place is spotless and the food not salty at all, very fresh and yes expensive but worth it. Will be defo going here from now on.

Me and my fella ordered some food from the worsley branch which took over an hour to come, the delivery man then phoned us to say he was outside and handed us our food in a big box and said sorry somethings leaked. We took it from him and put it on our coffee table, we started to take the food out and realised that one of the soups we had ordered had obviously leaked as there was about half a centemeter of soup left and the rest was all over our food making the prawn toast and spring rolls saturated in soup. On closer inspection every single container in the box was cracked and leaking. The delivery man had obviously dropped the box, My boyfriend quickly went to tell the delivery man that some of our order had been ruined he then phoned his work and passed my boyfriend the phone to speak to them, he explained what had happened and there response was disgusting. They claimed it was because we are so far away from the shop it was hard to deliver the food without spillage. I didn't realise that just over a mile was considered "far". They then offered to send us a fresh soup as compensation. My boyfriend stated he wasn't happy with that and wanted his money back. The lady on the phone then said "no problem I'll give you your money back for the soup" after a further 10 minutes arguing on the phone. They still were refusing to give us are money back which we were more than entitled too as we were basically given a soggy box of mush. In the end we eventually got our money of the driver and gave him back the sloppy box of inedible food. I strongly recommend avoiding this place unless you live in a flat above the actual shop. Even that might be to far for them to deliver safely. I find it vile and disgusting that a national chain such as this can have such appalling customer service.

Even though we no longer live round the corner from Wok 2 Go we still head back here for our chinese take aways! The whole family are fans

This is an excellent take away. Fresh and tasty food. An excellent variety of dishes and are all prepared without preservatives or chemicals in an open kitchen. The food is freshly prepared and is always of a high quality. It is quite expensive and is certainly not a cheap option, however in the case of Wok2Go, you get what you pay for.

Whilst one might say this takeaway restaurant is a touch pricy compared to the more traditional style takeaway, the difference in quality , freshness, taste and speed to table absolutely warrants that difference. SUPERB.

The previous review is almost the exact same words I would have said. "Wok2Go seem to have reduced the meat in the dishes and increased the bulk of onions, carrots etc to compensate."I had the Thai green curry and the sauce is absolutely spot on. Unfortunately I only got a few mouthfuls and then just had a mound of dry rice to work through.Very disappointing as after my first visit I couldn't wait to go back. After the second time, I know there won't be a third.
