Winner House in Mansfield

It is now under new management and the quality of the food has significantly deteriorated. What was one the best curry house in Notts is now one of the worst and the most bland. The curry is now revolting, the rice dry and the chips inedible.

With just getting back from our family holiday last thing we wanted to do was cook. A flier had been posted from Winner House and we just fancied a Chinese Meal. I phoned in our order went down to pick up, no waiting about and the lady on counter was lovely. As for the meal it was FANTASTIC. So much I forgot to take a photo. We were so hungry. There spring rolls and seaweed are to for for. One of my favourites his the pork with spring onions and ginger how refreshing this dish is. A nice treat and will be back .

Tried this place for the first time since moving to the area last year and was very disappointed that I hadn’t have come here earlier because the Chinese food was the best iv had in years. There chips are perfection no grease and really tasty and the gravy is just a dream so thick and dark just like it used to be when I was a kid. The curry’s we ordered where 🤤👌. Counter service was so prompt and such a helpful friendly lady took my order. I will be using these from now on.

Ordered twice now, both times the food has been delicious, piping hot and at a reasonable price. We has special curry with egg fried rice and veg fried rice with curry sauce along with prawn crackers, mini veg spring rolls and chips. The chip portions are huge and we made the mistake of ordering 2 bags. Everything was yummy, we shall be using this place in the future

Last weekend we decided to order from winner house and we weren’t disappointed at all! We had sweet and sour chicken balls, special fried rice and chicken chow mien, it took 20 mins to arrive, was piping hot and unbelievably delicious! From now on we will always order our Chinese from winner house.
