Wing Wah Chinese Cantonese in Walsall

Ordered a mix curry and it came with egg fried rice. Also ordered a small bag of chips. Overall service was not brilliant the order took too long. When the order came egg fried rice over cooked chips too. The mixed curry was ok with selection of different meats pork beef and chicken pieces came with onions and a few peas. It looked like a small curry not a large. I will not be purchasing from Wing Wah Chinese Cantonese again. This why I have gave it a low rating.

I’m super fussy with where I use for a Chinese and needed a new place. Read lots of reviews and decided to give it a go. Super impressed with quality and quantity! Driver was friendly who delivered. Was told up to 45 min wait and it came in less time. Will definitely order again :)

Wing Wah Chinese takeaway serves up some decent dishes with quite good service. However, their delivery system lacks consistency. Regardless of specified delivery times, orders tend to arrive either egregiously late or almost instantly, which is quite annoying. Also I was disheartened to discover that they've ceased using marrowfat peas in their dishes which they’ve replaced with garden peas. Their omelettes have shrunk by half too. Additionally, many times dishes are overly greasy, which detracts from the overall enjoyment. Despite these setbacks, the food quality and service remain quite good. However, improvements in delivery timing, dish ingredients, and grease levels would enhance the overall experience. Lastly, the place could do with a fresh touch up as it’s the same since it opened which was many many years ago.

Been ordering for years. Never fails to impress. Good prices and fast delivery. Only disappointment for me is they've stopped doing Thai green duck curry

Staying at a hotel in the area, after a long long journey, I fancied a Chinese. This was the first Chinese take away I came across during my walk so decided to give it a try. The woman behind the counter was really nice, friendly and pleasant. I ordered a Singapore Chow Mein with no prawns and Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls. The service was quick, absolutely no fault in that regard. Walking back to the hotel, I opened up my bag and the first thing I noticed was that I didn’t have a Singapore Chow Mein however I like Chicken Chow Mein and couldn’t be bothered walking all the way back so just accepted it. When I started to eat it, it was ok, nothing special but ok. I opened up the chicken balls and took a bite, they were heaven!! The amount of chicken in them was fantastic and they were cooked to perfection. My next bite, I dipped into the Sweet & Sour sauce and quickly noticed the sauce was tasteless but left a strange after taste in your mouth. Three quarters of the way through eating the chow mein, I began to notice it was actually saturated in really salty sauce/gravy, by the end of the tub it was just over powering and really not nice at all, so I left the chow mein soup at the bottom and finished off my chicken balls…..kind of wish I had just ordered them in truth. Next time I’m back, I’ll try another Chinese if that’s what I go for. Really disappointed after a really friendly welcome to the shop.

Special fried rice lovely curry sauce nice with salt and pepper spare ribs I have mostly delivery always nice and hot except for 1 time

Got order wrong yet again and blame the customer after being relayed back too them wen food came the prawns were chewy and both curry's were just full of onions and hardly any beef never again

Me and the wife ordered from here last week she had sweet and sour chicken when easting it she said it didn't taste right, turns out she was right she had been bad for 3 days after with food poisoning, rice tasted off, ribs was like leather, and order was 40 mins late, PLEASE don't not order from here it's horrendous.

Staff please t and helpful food is spot on a bit more expensive but you pay for the best and that's what this place is

DO NOT GET FROM THIS CHINESE!!! the food I have from this place is absolutely disgusting.My 12 chicken balls came 8 BLACK chicken and 4 normal chicken balls with RAW prawns in??????? I then called up and explained that this disgusting order I had was no right they then continued to say that it wasn’t and I said I’d go there with the food right now and they ended the phone!

The only chinese I go too, foods always pipping hot quick delivery and foods always on point.

Really terrible place. We ordered and when the food came the chips were so hard we couldn't eat them, rang to complain they sent another bag twice as bad. Also found a hair in the curry. really disgusted.

Worst sweet and sour I've ever had. Chicken covered in sloppy batter floating in some sort of sweet zingy soup with pineapple and peppers thrown in.

Food was dry and overcooked. Delivery was a version of a hit and run, knocked door and dumped open bags on the pavement in torrential rain. Absolute joke, won't waste money again

Just ordered for the first time this evening and was absolutely delicious ! The lady who took my call made our food nice and spicy as requested. I did order from just eat and forgot to put a note about extra chillis so I called. They were really good about it. Delivery was like super fast, I’d say probably 10mins !! I requested that our food was cooked separate to pork and the lady assured me that they clean the pan before cooking the dishes which helped me decide to order from them ! The mala king prawn chow mien was lovely with a generous amount of prawns and the salt and pepper chicken was just wow !! The chicken is halal guys !! Highly recommended !! 5 stars !!

In my opinion the best Chinese takeaway around and have been for years - their food is always excellent and always delivered piping hot, usually within half an hour (even at peak times).

Always ordering from here. Food is hot on delivery and very tasty. But today I am not happy at all. Paying 6.50£ for prawns I expect to get good amount of them in the container. That’s not fair at all to get container stuffed with vegetables and only 5 prawns ‼️That’s a rip-off

Phone ordered in advance and collected . Cash only here. Lucky I knew prior. Food was good and still hot when I got home 15 mins later.

Pretty disgusted to be honest have always used them but recently the delivery drivers are refusing to come up to the flat we are on the 5th Floor they phone you asking you to go down and collect it from them. SAYING THEY ARE NOT ALOUD TO GO INTO FLATS COMPLETE UTTER RUBBISH. What if it's a single parent with children. What utter disgrace you pay £2.50 for delivery and you have to go and get it yourself. THATS NOT DELIVERY AT ALL.

Curry had no flavour too it. And meat was fatty. But me off my whole meal.

Waited 2 hours for a luke warm and bland Chinese. Prawn toast was undercooked , sweet and sour king prawns extremely watery and chicken noodle soup that resonated fish. Do yourself a favour and stay away!

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Soup was really sweet as if they’d stuck a bag of sugar in it. “Singapore noodles” jusy turned up a regular chow mein and wasn’t very nice. Prawn toast was both stale and over oily at the same time (kind of impressive to do both at once), “crispy” chilli beef and vegetable spring rolls were limp. Best part about it was the delivery driver seemed like a nice bloke. If they had less than one star as an option I’d have gone with that...

Poor customer service, they got my order wrong! Woman coughing down the phone, doesn't sound healthy enough to be around food. Long hair, no hair covers to prevent hairs in good. I wouldn't give this place one star but one has to, in order to write review! Definitely calling environmental health as the place is flithy

Dreadfull!! The beef in my curry doesnt look like beef in fact i dont think its ever seen a cow! Prawn toast un cooked!! Chow mein had a wierd after taste and chicken like rubber! Im never using this place again!.. shocking!!

Thought ide give it a try for the second time since changing hands and will not be going again. Sloppy chow mein without any flavour. I asked for bbq sauce which if it was added had no flavour. Come back previous owners please!
