I have been eating takeaways from Wing Wah Chinese takeaway, for about 10 years and I have always enjoyed my meal and regardless what I order, I have never been let down. The best Chinese takeaway in St. Helens.

To my mind the best Chinese chippy in St Helens, great food at a reasonable price. Lovely cheerful staff. The only chippy we use

I have had just few meals from here I would never eat there ever again the food was cheap and nasty no nice taste at all the chips tasted like they was from the day before if anyone thinks differently who been there go and book your self in a nut House cos ye mad plus you must of never eaten good tasted food don’t waste your money here Nasty

Never had a bad meal from here, I like to try other takeaways but always come back here. It’s our go to treat. Cash only so I’d say I hope they’d take card as sometimes that’s the only reason I’d go somewhere closer. (I drive out my way to come here if I’ve got cash)

Used to love this place, sadly more often than not they are closed with various excuses on days when they are supposed to be open. No longer going to eat from here. UPDATE 4/5/23 Still keep giving them a chance, and still they keep on closing with various excuses. This is no way to run a business.

Nice foods especially fried rice dishes. Have smokey favour. The downside is not open in the weekend.

Verry poor tonight salt&pepper chicken was terrible tasteless and verry little onion and pepper and same with chicken wings and the copsuey roll was burnt curry was like water don't not if changed cheff because this is usually a really nice chippy

Quite disappointed today as this chippy is Normally nice 🥺 The chips had been cooked to quick as was burnt And the fish was bland.

You may wait a few minits for your food but the service and quality of food is exceĺlent the travel time from my home less than 10 mins by car is worth the effort concidering there are 4 chipshops enroute from my house to WING WAH ...1 OF THOSE IS ONLY 100 METERS FROM MY HOUSE

Went here last night, what can i say apart from utter disgraceful. Sweet & sour chicken had no taste on, was very dry Tasted boiled. So that's gone in the bin. Had purchased other meals for family which said where ok ( too polite to say any different). This was for a Birthday celebration. Will definitely not visit that grot hole again. Steer clear. I'm sure the people making this food don't eat it themselves!

Just discovered this little Chinese takeaway. Our usual one had gone down hill. Cash payments only for telephone orders of tasty well cooked takeaway food. Very friendly staff.

Always my go too chippy but yesterday the food was not like it normally is. The chips where greasy and over cooked and I had fried rice, chips and gravy and the gravy was thick and lumpy and you could see that it had previously had a skin on it and poured ontop. Didn't end up eating unfortunately.

The women serving was very pleasant, the place looked clean. The food smelt nice driving home so all good . Unfortunately the taste of the food was very poor , we had a Fried rice dish which was greasy and just tasted of salt . The chips had been refried more than once and so had a deep brown colour but tasted dry inside and the chow mein was at best Luke warm , the chicken was like rubber with very little taste again apart from salt . Extremely disappointed. But maybe we were just unlucky.

Love the lady behind the counter, the food is a bit hit and miss but you get what you pay. Salt and pepper chips where really nice.

Recently moved to St Helens and must have tried every other Chinese Takeaway in the area without any success Wing Wah was recommended to us by a new neighbour so we gave it a try. We were absolutely delighted we love Chinese food which we eat regularly and have to say you can’t beat the food here it’s always consistently excellent Wouldn’t go anywhere else Ken and Paula

The food is always hot and tasty. I have been going here for years and won't go any where else. The portion sizes are excellent. Definately value for money.

Tasty food, but don't do chopsticks...

We have recently moved to the area and found this place by chance driving past one day. We normally order take away from just eat so didn’t know it existed. This is by far the best Chinese chip shop around St Helens. The menu choices are great, the service is super friendly and quick, the take away is clean, there is good parking outside and most importantly the food is incredible. Both the fish and chip and Chinese options are great quality, always great tasting and cooked perfectly. We highly recommend buying food from here, we and our friends are now regulars.

If ordering by phone, allow plenty of time before you collect because they are very busy and you may have to wait. The food is extremely good, friendly staff, spotlessly clean premises. I highly recommend.

Chicken wasn't the best, but the salt and pepper chips where excellent. Probably wouldn't go again though

Been here many times now and the food is superb, staff efficient and friendly and it is great value for money.

Always great food here and the said his not too long in there as they do not deliver. The chips are always really good. Prices are in line with other take always and there is their own parking at the side so it is really convenient to go.

It was OK.. Nice friendly service.. Disappointed with the food.. Salt and pepper Chips were warm ups and overdone.. s & p wings weren't amazing . Sweet an sour sauce was lovely though..

La comida es más que aceptable ... es la espera que es frustrante. Claramente no es suficiente personal para enfrentar el comercio de la hora de almorzar, así que te encuentras en una cola de sólo 5 personas pero se tarda 30 minutos para que nos sirvieran ... y eso es con un pre llamó orden !
