Wing Hing Chinese Takeaway in Havering

DO NOT order from this restaurant! Unless you want food to arrive in this condition. Packaged terribly, holes were in containers that were upside down. Restaurant answered and first response to my question was “What do you want me to do”. Totally unhelpful. Avoid like the plague!

Tonight we had takeaways delivered and we have been unable to eat all of the dishes that we ordered. When the delivery arrived, it was a total shambles. Containers were split and broken which resulted in two soups coagulating into one, with a sloppy mess in the bottom of the bag. Absolutely disgraceful and when we rang the restaurant they blamed the Uber driver. Packaging was unacceptable, hence the issue. We were offered no compensation. Bad business ethics. Never order from here again.

tasty food delivered hot and on time every week-always good

Had the chicken and broccoli, veg chow mein and black bean pork. All really tasty and large portions too.

Ordered at 6pm it’s 8.44 and not even prepared! Awful service don’t bother

Can't rate atmosphere as I ordered delivery. Food was warm, rather than piping hot but very tasty and would order again. Chicken balls tasted of good quality.

Ordered a bento box. It was so good. You could tell the rice had been cooked on a really hot wok because it had such a good Smokey flavour. Every dish was cooked so well and was bursting with flavour. Their chilli oil has so much flavour too, not just spicy. Overall 10/10. My new go to x

Ordered for delivery, it arrived on time, food was hot and tasty. Ordered the bento box with 3 dishes and egg fried rice, only complaint is that the crispy beef portion was far too small compared to the amount of rice. It was like 3-4 portions of rice to one portion of crispy beef. I'd maybe put the main portion to go with the rice in the second largest part of the box, and all the side options in the two smaller ones. Everything was tasty though, and fairly priced for what you get, maybe on the more expensive side but we are in a cost of living crisis, everyone has put their prices up. Would order again.

Lovely experience here. I do go in to the restaurant to make my order though. So never had a delivery experience. But have recommended to others who have ordered to deliver and they were happy with their experience. I must say that their Beef Noodle Soup! With the delicious savoury and chewy udon noodles are incredible! Soo fresh and soo well presented in lovely packaging as well. Such a comfort! The menu can be a little difficult to navigate, but whenever I have been in there the customer service has been amazing and they are more than happy to help with your order. The atmosphere is calm and the scent from the kitchen is soo enticing/inviting. You would soo be missing out if u didn't give them a try! Regardless of other reviews... their food is... mwah! Chefs kiss 👌

Tasty Chinese takeaway with good portion size

Ordered at 6pm, food was supposed to be delivered at 7pm, called at 8pm to find out what was going on and told our order was 'cooking' but food then didnt arrive until just after 8.20pm. So even after taking over 2hrs to deliver the food and it being over 1hr 20mins later than the time they stated it would be delivered when we ordered they felt that they didn't need to offer a partial refund, complimentary items or a meaningful apology. Added to that I'd asked for curry sauce with the chicken balls instead of sweet & sour and was ignored. A bunch of items were cold and the chicken balls were soggy. The rest of the food was in fairness fairly good once warmed again but the service was pitiful. I'll never order from here again. If they'd said it will take nearly 2hrs 30mins to deliver the food when I ordered I'd have simply ordered from elsewhere with no hard feelings. After paying £55 for the order this service simply wasn't good enough. Once they have your money they feel zero responsibility to deliver a good service. Absolutely disgusting and shocking behaviour.

Ordered for delivery online through their website only to be told they can’t deliver and we had to come and pick up. No refund of delivery fee, no parking outside or nearby to stop and collect and quite rude owner on the phone

Waited 2 hours for delivery when we were told it was 1 hour delivery and still waiting for our order. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't order if you want your order on same day.

First time ordering from here and must say the food was bang on... at to order over the phone though has just eat didn't give me an option to pay in cash. But overall 10 out 10...

Food to be collected at 6.45...managed to get it at 7.55. Taking orders left, right and centre...nothing coming out of the kitchen.

Best chicken satay ever, soooo soft and sauce is very tasty, 3 times in a row so wasn't a fluke.

Loved every meal from here.. Delivery is normaly fast aswel. Capital sauce and special fried rice is the best from here.

I have ordered food from here they sent me the wrong order and the order they did bring looks absolutely disgusting I would not recommend anyone to order from here at anytime even if there is no where else open I asked for Singapore noodles and they sent me chow mein! Definitely a no go if you ask me!

Didn’t want to give 1 star! Ordered at 6pm now 8pm just told another half hour even though we called at 7pm and they said 15 mins. Absolute joke. Shame because were told this restaurant was good but customer service and timing is RUBBISH! If you’re hungry don’t order from this Chinese.

I popped in in a Tuesday as most other Chinese takeaways are closed. Never eaten from here before and I must say it was lovely. Definitely going to make this my first choice from now on
