Wine Therapy in Isle of Wight

I approve of the Rully. Small shop, but seems to be a nice selection. Hoping to see some more white burgundy’s, although I understand it’s a small place so that’s probably not their top priority.

Opening hours are not clear, it was closed by 18.30 on Friday.

After sourcing local fish, called in to say we was having a fish platter was given a choice of about 4 different wines,we was then told about them without making us feel like idiots husband also told about a Italian red he liked, an was led to the same grapes of the wine he liked, may pay just a little bit more than supermarkets, but this guy really knows his stuff, really enjoyed his choice of white with a little bit of fizz on the tongue, really made our meal special, an bye the way, husband who didn’t like white really enjoyed, an husband who liked red an wife didn’t drank it all to himself, greedy man, once again many thanks for making our night special, an you wouldn’t go to a electrician if you wanted your gas sorting, , we are a couple from Derbyshire but all you in the area support, cause his knowledge of wine’s doesn’t come out of the blue.

A really excellent independent wine merchant. Everything is well set out and obviously chosen with care. They are very knowledgeable but not in the least patronising, so, even if you know very little about wine, they can help you find the perfect bottle for you. Highly recommended.

We had booked in here to taste some wines but sadly due to Covid this was not being done at the time we went but we thought we’d pop in and get some reds for while we were there. The lady was very helpful and knowledgeable when we asked her questions about the wines we were buying. More than once did we say we would of happily spent the afternoon here chatting about the wines they sell and trying at few at the same time.

Not a local (sadly) but one of the best wine shops I've ever been to - selling cracking wines without them needing a silly price tag!

We have regularly purchased wine here. Makes a change from the usual supermarket options. The wines are reasonable value and good quality, we have found the owners friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Some nice Lebanese options

Nice collection of wines with an shop owner who knows his stuff and is always helpful.

Possibly the most unwelcoming and unfriendly woman at the front desk. As I enquired about sampling she told me the sampling machines were not working and that was that. Oh she said bye. She clearly has no interest in my custom. Thanks for the appalling welcome. I shall not be returning.

OMG one of the best hours I have had in a long time. We booked in for a wine tasting last night and were not disappointed. What a brilliant idea and if you like wine you need to go here to sample the delicious wines they have on offer. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Wine Therapy is owned and run by Nicola and Terry. They have a very good range of wines and some spirits like gin made by small producers. They stock wine that other places do not carry and introduced us to some very good Spanish and Portuguese wines--we tended to be Francophiles. They have wines you are able to taste before buying for a small fee. They also know their wines and have never steered us in a wrong direction. Pricewise they are fair for the good quality wine they are selling. It is not your place if you want a bottle for a fiver. But if you stretch ti £8-10 you will.sed what qood quality you can get for that price. It is lucky Cowes has a family owned shop by people dedicated to what they do.

We saw a great sign outside this boutique shop saying they did gin tastings, so gave it a go and had a great time being hosted by co-owner Terence. We enjoyed it so much we went back tonight for a wine tasting. They have these 4 fab tasting dispensers that mean you have a huge range to choose from and very cost effective. They have a great range of wines to choose from and the team are very knowledgeable and enjoy sharing their stories about the growers.

This is just as a proper shop should be. Excellent customer service both knowledgeable and so very helpful. I visited twice during my short break in Cowes. I tried a couple of the gins but came away with two really exceptionally good bottles of wine, one Spanish and one Armenian. I was looking for something different and (this is the benefit of going to a shop where the owner knows what he is talking about) the suggestion was to try an Armenian wine he had. What a revelation, it was really outstanding. It is also so good to be able to go to a wine shop where you can buy a number of wines and gins by the glass. As I say great shop, great service.

this shop has the most amazing range of wines. You can taste the few on offer from the machine and get amazing advise from the owners. there is also a garden out the back where you can take your own food when you purchase wine from the shop..........romantic!

Called here for tastes of wines and Gins,. Ladie serving was excellent in her customer service skills and knowledge on wines. They have the qwerky little machines that seem to be frequenting alot of places at the moment were you can purchase samples of wines before you buy. All in All great place to visit and Really Freindly Service which is all to lacking in certain places these days..

We stopped in to Wine Therapy as part of a walking tour. Wonderful choice and really lovely helpful service. We tried several wines and walked away with a couple of bottles of yummy pinot noir!

Not just wine, but a decent selection of boutique gins too! Charming apothecary-style layout augmented by card-operated tasting machines to sample many of the wines - and the gins too! Definitely worth a stop if you enjoy the finer things of life.

This place is a Aladdin cave of unusual edibles and drinkables. Wish I had a bigger suitcase to buy and bring home a lot of thing. Many lovely jams biscuits cakes cider and real local ale selections.

Not only great wine, but fantastic people - its my favorite shop on the high St. You can even try and buy all their various wines by the glass through their special wine tasting machine, making it a great place to get together and have fun. Highly recommend it.

We have been using wine therapy since they opened and the owner knows exactly which wine i go in for, I have also bought whiskey and gin having had a sample in store. I think it is a great asset to Cowes and good to see independent shops doing well. Use it or lose it.

Great selection and great service!

Had been looking forward to visiting this establishment following a recommendation from a friend. Also had seen that they were offering gin tasting which as keen gin drinkers we were keen to sample. However, the female member of staff serving was most unwelcoming (we were the only customers in the shop at the time), she had a complete lack of communication skills, we had to ask how the sampling process worked (as if we should know) and then ask for tonic to go with the gin. It was a great shame as lovely shop and some super wines and gins in stock. Sadly for them they lost a sale from us that day - we would have happily been prepared to purchase a couple of bottles of gin but the poor customer service and lack of interaction changed our minds.

This is a fab wine shop with very friendly staff with excellent knowledge of their products. This shop also enables you to taste the different wines before you commit to a whole bottle.

Excellent wine shop, open late for tasting

Good wine selection, friendly people - and they deliver. They've made a good inroad into the wine options in Cowes.

Thank you wine therapy, you let us decorate your lovely little courtyard garden with tasteful hen party bunting and balloons. You made it a smooth experience via preloaded wine tasting cards with credit on them. Lovely experience all round.
