Windmill in Great Yarmouth

FAST delivery. Easy half hour earlier than expected. Then again I am just round the corner. GOOD food. Crispy Beef recommended, not chewy and thin like other distributors. Also not overly greasy. GOOD eats. January 2024

Make sure you check your order as i was overcharged for a dish that i didnt even order! When i argued it i was told i couldnt have a refund as it was all ready cooked! Shocking customer service by the young girl who served us and was her fault she added a dish on we didnt order! Wont be back! The food isnt great either!

Me and my partner have the runs all I had was rice a sweet sour sauce prawn crackers and my partner had beef noodles mixed balls and curry we've now ending up very Ill and constantly running to the loo think this place needs a new food review or shutting down bad for people health

We stayed in great Yarmouth for a fishing trip. 6 of us ordered from here. Was genuinely one of the best if not the best Chinese we have all ever had. I am very picky with food but these guys the food was brilliant nothing was greasing nothing was over or under cooked. The flavours were all there nothing was bland. The delivery guy was polite and punctual and communication was fantastic through delivery. Massive thankyou we wish your business well for the future 10* hands down on our experience

Stayed in Yarmouth and we ordered from here ,food was amazing… crispy chilli beef and salt n pepper chips are my new fave , chicken curry was just the right level of spice, we also had the chow mein … cant fault any if it . I am fussy when ordering from an outlet im not familiar with but this takeaway put my fussiness to rest

Have you a new chef ? The food was so tasty tonite couldn't fault anything the chop Kam a la China .crispy veg lovely meat and not over done with onions .the crispy chilli beef and honey and sesame chicken so tasty all with Singapore rice thank you for a lovely meal will definitely order again if up to this standard.

This place is the worst place I've ever had the displeasure of having food from . . A communal waste bin would of been better to have more tajd to it

Small portions after asking for a.large was just standard ,fried rice was just boiled rice with scrambled egg .staying at haven if we was to come back I wouldn't waste £40 again.....

I have ordered from here for 7 years but its now under new management so I hear. The food is disgusting curry sauce is too thick, bbq spare ribs taste rank, chow mein no taste to it and dry the noodles are not the same they are thicker. WILL NOT BE EATING FROM HERE AGAIN!!!

Very dissatisfied with this takeaway. It's clear they have reduced the carton sizes so you get much less food, the portion of chips was the above also. No taste, I asked for my curry to be given some spice, no that didn't happen. I have used the above before but won't be again. Go elsewhere for decent portion sizes. Overall very poor

Shocking awful Chinese avoid the place

Best Chinese takeaway I've ever had!. Food and family are always consistently nice. Ok I've been coming here for over 10 years. I thought having burnt or microwaved noodles was normal until I came to this place! 🤔😂. Good value for money, and tasty

Normally I love the food from these, but tonight I ordered my food at 7.30 and it arrived at 9pm and was luke warm chucked it in the bin, will still use them as this is a one off but disappointed 😥, hopefully I'll get it hot next time :-(

Holidaying locally we called here for quickness. What a mistake. King prawn fried rice dry and tasteless. Chicken curry had hardly any curry sauce to it and the chinese gravy was just bisto. Rubbish.

Probably the best Chinese in Yarmouth, delicious. Their portions seem to be getting smaller but it's good quality food

Spent the weekend in Great Yarmouth and one of the locals suggested Windmill. Quick service by friendly staff, reasonably priced, although better value on their combined dishes. The food was so good! I would recommend giving them a try if you haven't already. Parking directly outside.

I used to like this takeaway but when they change hands you keep giving them a chance hoping it will get better. Chicken balls have more batter than chicken literally a sliver of chicken it’s like they have been quartered in size. Duck fried rice call it a fried rice with a bit of over cooked duck omg sort it out prices go up don’t mean quality goes down.......

I allways use to use another chinese takeaway in the area. But i got fed uo with them. With regards to their customer service. However i decided to give windmill a go. And all though when i first ordered from here. The dishes looked very different to what im used too. That being said dont let that encourage you to judge it. Because by far not only is it the best food. But its second to none customer service. I literally just rang for my takeway. Now admitedly i dont normally lile change. So i very rarely order much different but today i said "can i place an order for delivery?" And reply was "you gonna have your crispy seeweed, beef chowmein and salt and pepper chicken.?" Now this girl i was told is called sophie. And for her not to even be the owner of the business but pay that much respect to the customers i think the owners should be very proud. I love everything about this place. From the food right the way to the freindly delovery driver. In an extremly lovely white ford focus. Thank you.

Finally found a good Chinese and it is the one around the corner from my house.

Delivered quickly and food was hot! All great until I find 3 hairs in my food!!!! Complete put off! Asked for full refund as I have been put off all of my food of which I have not touched; I was only offered a refund for the chow mien!! Lady in the shop hung up on me. Rude, disgusting and completely in denial. Last time I order from there

Best Chinese, especially windmill special

this chinese takeaway is disgracful! the man shouted at us over the phone and insulted us! i would not reccomend this place, as the staff are rude!

Used to be real good food but not any more. Past few months it has been terrible. I was up all night with bad guts and being sick. The chicken balls were undercooked and not nice. Why has the quality changed? They have now lost me as a regular customer.
