Absolutly delicious customer service from the woman on the phone was brilliant to thankyous for making sure everything was perfect !

We were told in advance the wait time ( an hour) and were happy to spend some time in the amusements whilst we waited. The food was hot and not greasy! Lovely food and lovely staff.

It was absolutely delicious 😋, best we have ever had. Not greasy at all. Perfectly cooked, not any artificial fillers in the food or sauce. Wish they would deliver to our homes.

Honest review- Never ordered from here before so gave it a chance. Positives- it turned up hot although later than the advertised time. Came with free Prawn Crackers. Negatives- The portions are small for the money. The dishes were lacking flavour/spice/garlic content. Pancake Roll was practically beansprouts. Hardly any vegetables to meat content. Spring rolls again mostly beansprouts. Szechuan pork meant to be spicy but was sweet only tasted of pineapple. Will not be using again for sure

First time trying, won't be going back. Ordered 2 combo meals, received one wrong (processing a refund through just eat on advice of the restaurant-fine). Said combo meals are on the light side given the price, ribs within are barely worth dirty fingers, rice is meant to be fried but is suspiciously pale and tasteless, szechuan had a funny taste, un-ordered chop suey similarly bland. Salt and pepper chips slightly overcooked. It was early I guess? Would rather have waited for a more enjoyable meal.

Nice Chinese piping hot. What let's this place down is it looks scruffy and dirty looking. It's a shame because the food is good

Nice little Chinese , prices are reasonable and the dishes we ordered were tasty and not greasy . Recommend the chicken chow mein And they don’t take card so make sure you have cash with you

Just had a delicious meal delivered from the Windmill Chinese restaurant at Hopton. Great menu selection and order was delivered on time, politely and efficiently. Food was nice and hot and very tasty. No hesitation in recommending The Windmill well done!

disappointed, the shredded chilli beef was sweet?? no chilli what do ever and the egg fried rice had barely any egg in it, and tasted really plain. chow mein was nice

Order arrived before estimated time. Really impressed and will definitely order from here again. Smoked chicken was really really good! Everything was really tasty, chicken balls and spring rolls were crispy and no greasy at all. A very happy customer, thank you!

I always order the soup! It's always delicious and comforting. I've ordered from other restaurants (when the Windmill is closed) but this is the best by far!

Lovely food, still nice and hot.

We ordered 1/2 duck but portion seemed a tad on the small side. Everything else was fab. Beef chow M, sweet&sour chicken, crispy chill chicken and egg fried rice. Would order again ☺️

Usually order and enjoy from here. But cost was incredibly high on this order for a very small amount of food. £30 for 3 small trays of food and a bag of chips was very expensive. Chicken satay was also very generic tasting. Mushroom and duck was very good though!

This is honestly mine and my partners favourite chinese takeaway place! Food is always HOT and tastes delicious ☺️ always either super quick delivery when asap chosen or arrives exactly on time if you give them a preferred time. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Probably one of the worst Chinese I have ever eaten. We waited 2 hours. It was so so salty, beef was tough and the egg fried rice was lacking any egg. The only positive thing I can say was it was hot.

Very tasty, but portion size is very bad for the price, all other Chinese takeaways have decent sized plastic containers, but this was half the size for same price as bigger portions at other takeaways. I feel it wasn't worth my money for the amount I got. If they can change this I feel they would do even better and I would order again but until then I won't be ordering again, I will stick to Chinese takeaway that give more for the price.

Bad value for money, we have been ordering here for a while and are generally happy with the quality of the food but have noticed recently the portions must have changed. to spend £7+ on a main meal item and get not only a small container but a half hight small container with 50% filler veg is crazy we used to be able to share a rice but they have changed that too and is basically one portion. Finally our favourite item the crispy chilly beef is basically just batter now.

We're rating this 5 stars in comparison with all other Chinese takeaways in small towns. Obviously, head to China (or at least Chinatown) for an authentically 5 star experience. But, seriously, I can only WISH that our local high street place was this good. Then there's the whole 'holiday park' factor. I mean, they've a captive audience. You drive past the place on the way into the Haven site. So, why would they need to bother making such good food? Everyone who visits will get food from there at least once, right? You can sense true pride in this cooking. The Norfolk Broads are reason enough for us to come back one day, but you can rest assured that we'll be popping back for a Chinese takeaway from the Windmill next time too!

Perfect food, was not disappointed at all, really satisfied my urge for chow mein! The windmill special chow mein is amazing!

The food was lovely and hot and come early which was good but the beef chow mein was very pale and had a bitter taste too it which upset my stomach so I will not order from them again unfortunately

The food was good, hot and deliver on time.

Shop front is tired and floor was sticky! Service was very slow and food was bland and and sloppy. Satay sauce was so greasy when I dip my chips in it the sauce just slipped off. Chips were under cooked and at best a 1 out of 10. Would not recommend or go back again.

Food was ok not great at all - made me severely ill Premises is dirty not a great first impression

Rice was stodgy and over cooked, and the sweet and sour had less sauce than normally.

Worst chinese ever. Rude staff. They make mistakes then charge you for thier mistake. Bad food and horrendous staff. Go to one in town and sit down and enjoy yourself.

Awful experience, place a £40 order and took back to our room, only to find the wrong rice and a missing main meal. When I returned to swap the rice etc I was told I had to pay the extra to upgrade the rice and was accused of not ordering correctly, the lady on the till even had a conversation about the missing main as we asked for no prawns. A lot of irrelevant info here I know but if it helps the shop identify the order they can learn from it. By the the time we received our missing item and returned, all the food was cold and very low standard. You visit here out of necessity as it’s the only restaurant on site needless to say I don’t recommend

Terrible..... got in a mood last delivery due to not tipping them after food arrived 30min later than told..... stupidly we ordered again and yet again doubled our wait time... fully agree that the kids they employ to answer the phone clearly work cash in hand and need training.... let alone we got told they re use various cooking materials and therefore cannot offer any items without contamination from other food...

Best crispy chilli beef I’ve EVER had. Only got 5 duck spring rolls instead of 6 though, and sad that we didn’t get any free prawn crackers on a £40 order! But we survived. Was delicious

This was honestly the most delicious chinese takeaway I have had in a long time. Food was hot and tasty. Delivery took well over an hour, but it was worth the wait. The only disappointment was that after spending £42 there were no free prawn crackers

The girl on the phone needs sacking. No customer service skills whatsoever. After sending us the wrong dish she argued with my husband and told him that he was lying. The egg fried rice wasn't fried just boiled with bits of egg in. Rang to complain for the second time only to be told "if you don't like it that's not our problem". Absolutely shocking. We have ordered from here a few times but this time was below par and ruined by us fuming about how my husband was spoken too. Definitely will not be ordering from here again unless said individual gets fired.

Terrible Customer Service. Food was stone cold on arrival driver tried saying they called no missed calls front room is next to door driver did not knock refused to re send food order. Counter staff refused to let us talk to a manager aswell shocking never had problems here before. Counter staff r very rude and not helpful.
