Wimpy in Three Rivers

At first, my attention was drawn to the poster in the window. Unfortunately, the reality exceeded expectations. The burger was small, the meat was hidden somewhere, tasteless. I was there, I saw it, I won't be back. Best regards.

food was ok but not like wimpy just regular burger at a higher price.

The staff were friendly from the get go. Good food, good prices, fast service and they treated my 3 year old so kindly. He was given ice cream and a toy car. I would highly recommend it here.

We visit once or twice a year as it’s a 20 minute drive from home, so typically go for one of our children’s birthday as they’ll always choose it. We went tonight for our son’s 9th birthday and it was excellent as usual. All of the food is cooked fresh to order and the service is brilliant. The team made my son feel very special and he classes the owner as one of his friends! Great service as ever! We’ll keep coming back to enjoy the food and service.

Overpriced...not good value for money I thought ...

A classic British experience. Although they have always been run by a specific community of restauranteurs. It's the British Cafe end of the burger market. No simple eggs and bacon at others! And the milkshakes and floats predate ANY recent influence. All beautifully served by top people and we loved it. A real treat and that epic grill, was under £13!

Amazing experience and it brought me back to my childhood. The two male employees were fantastic and could not fault the food, the service or the atmosphere! Thank you, our girls really loved their first time at the wimpy!

i saw the bloke pull up asked if it was a delivery for my name he said no after seeing sitting outside for another 10 min he then told he had my food what was then cold

My god how are you allowed to serve food at such a low standard, the burger was a defrosted patty and the chips were so so yet the prices were premium, DONT waste your time

I really like wimpy but my local one is pretty bad, this one in rickmansworth was epic though. Very freindly nice staff and the food was very good. I had 2 iced coffees as they were so nice and it sorted out my hangover!

The burger and chips were quite nice, but the prices were far from it. I took my son here as a birthday treat, feeling nostalgic since I had my 8th birthday at Wimpy myself. However, I don’t remember the prices being this extortionate. While the burger was decent, it certainly wasn’t worth the cost. I was also surprised to find out that the burgers don’t come as a meal. £11.35 for just a burger, chips, and a drink? No thanks. I’m glad this was a one-off visit.

Talking to the customer was very rough, short of staff and long time waiting. The muffins were old and not frozen.

One of the friendliest and cleanest Wimpy restaurants that I have visited. The staff were friendly, attentive and engaging. The food, as always, was well cooked and nicely portioned. The menu still has all of the classics with some newer options available. I recently visited again and, if anything, it was better. Same friendly staff, cleanliness top-notch and tasty food. The Big n Mighty and the Brown Derby are an absolute must

I was disappointed in the burger I think they may have changed the recipe of their burgers as I have very bad indigestion I would rather get on the bus and go to the east coast wimpy and eat in the restaurant. the chips were not bad just very disappointed in the burger. Enjoyed the milkshake

I've been going to the rickmansworth wimpy regularly for over a year now, and it's amazing every time. The food is always cooked fresh, and the service is the friendliest you will ever receive. I will always recommend anyone to go to the rickmansworth wimpy specifically based on the service because they are that lovely. 10/10!!!

Amazing service each and every time. A massive thank you to the owner for the wonderful service. He knew the customer and what they tend to have (great personal touch), food was made fresh while we waited - didn't have to wait long. Wish more places were like this. This is one of the few places that stayed consistent for us in Ricky even after the pandemic. The coffee does not disappoint either!!

Took my young kids here for the first time. I loved Wimpy growing up so wanted to take my 4 year old and 3 year old for a treat. I must say I was really impressed. The children’s menu was delicious and the milkshakes were incredible. The staff also were attentive and courteous and took pride in what they were doing. I will definitely be going back. Thank you!

Driver did not followi directions I gave when I placed my ordered I had to walk 10 minutes just to get my food to Where tye driver had parked as he refused to go to the location I told him I was at. By the time I got my food it was cold

Found this on the way to Woodbridge. No Wimpy anywhere near me any longer , so nice to sit down and remember the past visits to other Wimpy restaurants it might seem silly but they were a part of me growing up and glad to see some still exist. There will places that exist today and will disappear and people will say remember when. The staff we friendly and the food, well it's a Wimpy and I loved it.

I don’t get to go Wimpy too much considering there’s hardly any left in London. Always a nostalgic dining experience for me going back to when my mum and nan used to take me for a weekend treat as a kid. So happy I was passing through town and decided to have lunch here, the manager and his staff are fantastic, great with the kids, attentive and patient with the old folk. Hot crispy chips and a plump juicy cheeseburger well and truly hit the spot and set me up for the rest of the day. Will most definitely be stopping in next time I’m flying through 👌🏼😋

Sub par performance was given half a cup of Pepsi with half a bag full food was cold and hard.

Quiet on for a Saturday night. The place is clean, staff are good. The service was fast and food is normal Wimpy quality. Recommend this place.

Honestly one of the best breakfast muffins I've ever had from a fast food restaurant. Took my friend that didn't believe they still existed. We all loved what we got. Even the coffee was made with a proper machine and not just a button press. It was surprisingly good and I'm a coffee snob.

I love my wimpy wednesday with my partner. We have been going there for more than 1 year but unfortunately I am moving back to my country! I got to enjoy my last meal this wednesday. Staff there are very lovely, patient, fast and they remember my burger sauce everytime I go there haha! Local is very clean, ambient is amazing and their meals are fab and fresh. 1000 out of 10! Wimpy from Rickmansworth is the best one in comparison with others in London. We will definetly visit again everytime I come as a tourist.

Came in for a Knickerbocker and Ice Cream Float. The manager made the Knickerbocker Glory himself as it is no longer on the menu. Excellent service!!

Fantastic restaurant with amazing customer service and very kind people and I would thoroughly recommend going to this restaurant if you want a good time great food and really nice managers etc and staff.

Hadn’t been to or even seen a wimpy since I was a kid so was a nice surprise to come across this one! A bit pricey for the size of the burger meal however was nice and the staff were proper friendly too!

Good old retro burger bar with excellent service with a smile and comfy seating. Good value food and drinks and well worth a visit on your own or with the family. Top shop.
