2nd time here in about a year. Both times it has been spotlessly clean. Staff have been inviting and welcoming. Food exactly what we are looking forward to. Coming from South Africa where there is a wimpy in every town it's a nice novelty. Looking forward to my next visit to this Wimpy

Just moved to the area and was excited to see a Wimpy Restaurant! Hadn't stepped in one since the 80s in Glasgow. Back then, they did the original and best beanburgers, but I had The Great Wimpy Breakfast instead since it was 10 am on a Sunday morning. It was waiting-service and the place was spotlessly clean and bright & modern. Background music sets the tone of a lazy Sunday. The staff were attentive and friendly. The service was quick. When the food arrived, it was a good portion size, hot, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. The sausages were, too. The bacon was very tasty and delicious. My cafe latte was piping hot and made to perfection. This will now be my go-to place for me to try all the items on the menu! Thank you, Wimpy Addlestone, a bargain at £11.55.

Visited Horsham Wimpy and the staff were so attentive very polite extremely quick friendly. We had a laugh. The whole place was electric and almost full. Well done staff. They ALL had a 😊 smile highly recommend the Horsham branch.

It was an absolute pleasure to visit Wimpy in Addlestone recently. I hadn't been there for many years, but it was like new, everything is so clean, the guys who run the shop are lovely & the food tastes like the best Wimpy food you can get. My friends & I had a wonderful time.

Best burger experience I have had in a long time. Lovely staff amazing food and a really nice comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely be returning to try more from the menu 😋 Another visit and it only gets better. I saw easily the best waiter ever running to the front door to assist a customer one minute and then helping another get her belongings together the next. He treated us with exceptional customer service and I found it particularly nice the chef came out to meet the customers and check everything was to our expectations too. They really are a lovely team there. Completely transfriendly and has become one of our regular choices. Their breakfasts are brilliant.

I have just turned 40. I left England when I was 8 years old. My father grew up in Addlestone and we often went back to visit family... Just feeling a little bif of nostalgia and visiting on here.... That Wimpy has always been there ah ah. One ot the town's emblematic places to be seen... ah ah

Really great food brilliant atmosphere

Lovely restaurant, staff were friendly and it is exceptionally clean. My daughters food looked very nice and she said it was very tasty and hot as always. Sadly I had to settle for just a drink due to the lack of food options. Wimpy was always the place to go because there was something for everyone. Now it is just another burger bar ! We have always felt lucky to still have a Wimpy within a nice distance for us and even luckier that it is such a nice friendly place, but the menu seems to be more and more restricted each time with no healthier options than burgers.

It's a 50 mile round trip and there are nearer Wimpys to us, but Jeff the Manager always makes us feel utterly welcome and it's always a pleasure to visit this branch. Food is consistently fantastic and it's the cleanest restaurant you could wish for.

Needed somewhere to eat that catered for a fussy 10 year old. Checked Google, it said Wimpy was open until 9pm. On arrival no one else inside, so I asked if we could eat in & it was a yes. Guy was lovely. Menus immediately on our table & drinks order taken. Vanilla thick milkshake was dreamy. We had chicken burger, chicken wrap both with salad in & a kids chicken strips with chips, onion rings & mozzarella sticks on the side to share. All delicious & took no time in arriving at the table. We also asked for a burger meal to take away once we'd finished & the guy said he cook it once we were on desserts rather than it sit cold for ages. Very accomodating. Ice cream & waffles for dessert. All yummy. So yummy I forgot photos! So in the end 4 meals (1 was takeaway), 2 desserts, 4 cold drinks was £55. But after a long day was happy to pay as food cooked for us was delicious. No where to park in Addlestone, lots of yellow lines, & already full small laybys, so had no choice but to park in nearby Tesco & walk a little. We were an hour or so in Wimpy & actually had to pop in Tesco after anyway.

Great food and very friendly staff . We were made to feel very welcome and the food took me back to my childhood eating from Wimpy in Liverpool in the 90s ! Shame there aren’t many up North mostly south !

Nostalgia and Burgers served by very very nice staff

First time ever having a Wimpy and I must say it was amazing. As soon as I walked in I could see it was very clean, no food on the floor like you'd see in other fast food joints. I honestly thought it would be like McDonald's but it's the opposite. It is so much better than I thought it would be and it's more of a restaurant, serving the meal on a plate which I didn't expect but it's one of the things I really liked about it. The waiter that served us was very friendly, excellent service. We ordered the smoky bbq burger and it was sooo nice, I could tell it was proper beef and the bun was nicely toasted too. I also had a chocolate milkshake and it was delicious, very thick as it should be. I was so full I couldn't even finish mine. No room for dessert unfortunately. There is only one separate male & female toilet and a disabled toilet but they were very clean. We did visit late in the evening so it wasn't very busy. It is a bit pricey if you're used to the other fast food joints but what I ordered was cheaper than five guys and it's what you'd pay if you went to a pub so not too bad really and I thought it was worth it. It's a shame there aren't many around as I visited before heading to Thorpe Park cabins and where I live my nearest one is about 40mins away. I would definitely recommend coming here and I'll definitely go back, hopefully my nearest one is as good as this one and maybe next time I'll have room for dessert lol.

Consistently tasty and great value

I have previously used this Wimpy on rare occasions (not local) and always loved it. Jeff always genuinely cares about his customers and you can see it in his interactions. Yesterday, he was incredibly helpful in letting me know that when you order Collection through JustEat, you not only pay a service charge, but also the meals are higher priced. He advised me to always call them and place the order directly through them for collection - this would have saved me just over a tenner! He’d actually tried to ring me after I’d placed the order to let me know so I could have saved the money, unfortunately I was at work but I am so grateful that he took the time to do this. It really is the extra mile. Food was hot and still warm after the half an hour journey! I think other restaurants could learn some tricks from Jeff and his team here. Really happy again with the service and food provided. It was all delicious! Thanks Jeff and team and I look forward to coming back when I’m next in the area.

We love the Wimpy, the food is delicious and their thickshakes are the best! We came in to get a takeaway, the staff were so polite and helpful. The man put it into separate bags for us and he held the door for us on the way out, because we were carrying a lot of bags! Will definitely be back and will recommend!

The best Wimpy there is! Usually order for collection and Jeff and his team are always so friendly and the food is always quick and amazing! Ordered for delivery tonight and food was piping hot and delivered in under 15 minutes. Can not recommend this Wimpy enough!

My sister and I went here for lunch and we had an amazing time. The burgers were amazing and the pancakes were also fantastic. We also ordered the BROWNIE SUNDAE which was nice as well as their Special Sauce. Hamza has amazing hospitality 🙌🏻❤️

Good food, delightful staff and very clean

Since becoming gluten intolerant I havent bothered with burgers, the idea of having a baked patty from most fast food places has not appealed. So glad I did here though, it's a lovely comfortable place with brilliant friendly staff and the food was amazing, my burger was laid bare with bacon, cheese salad and chips and tasted divine, such a shame people only think of the faster burgers from other brands when wimpy offers a pretty unique HQ sit down burger experience that left me full of good food and not slightly sick (like those others used to) toped with an amazing shake (totally free from all allergens) Wish I lived closer, would be back each week for my burger fix if I could 👍👍👍😍

Hi everybody, I came over to Wimpy’s this past Sunday, overall, the food was all good, the burger looked like something out of an advert it looks perfect with a good and reasonable amount of everything inside their burgers. The chip’s were nice and warm and better than anything I ever ate before. Anyways, whilst we were having dinner with our family, a group of around 30 people or so from what I could count came in and asked for a table to sit at. I was watching the waiter and he was being calm at all times which is actually hard to do in atmosphere’s like this. Anyways, they start shouting about them wanting to do a party and that they would bombarde the restaurant with bad reviews if they didn’t get what they asked for. Despite the boss saying no, the waiter told the boss he would deal with it and the boss agreed. They all take a seat and the children start climbing up the chairs and booths making a mess. I tell the waiter to go back there and tell them to lower as they ruined our mental experience as a whole. The waiter goes there to warn them that the other customers are getting disturbed and asks them politely to lower their voices. They don’t respond and the waiter just ignores them as they don’t seem to care. Food was all over the ground when I left, I wish those cleaning it good luck.. I could say that the Toilets were spotless, it was completely clean and so were all the toilets. Staff were really friendly in general and really hospitable. I would strongly encourage you to visit this Restaurant, I have been going here for Years now.

Awesome place to go and have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Staff very friendly. Service outstanding. Food extremely tasty and good price for money. Huge portions served on plates. Will highly recommend to anyone who have not experienced the WIMPY Experience. Best place to go for a good hearty filling breakfast. Go get it.

Claim to do childrens parties but this is a lie. We were constantly told to be quiet which spoilt the kids party. Food is overpriced and very poor, really wished we went elsewhere.

Classic English restaurant still going strong in Addlestone. Friendly staff with a robust menu and very prompt with serving your order. Classic Wimpy menu. 👍🏾

This is not our nearest Wimpy, that would be Farnborough, but there is no contest - Jeff and his team at Addlestone have the cleanest restaurant with the best food and finest service. Farnborough by comparison is sub-standard in all these criteria, but that's another review altogether. As always, superb food and hospitality from Addlestone. Jeff is a natural who makes all customers feel welcome and appreciated. Nothing is too much trouble which makes for an all round enjoyable experience.

Absolutely awful service. Ordered online the order arrived, the delivery driver stood at the top of my drive for 10 minutes before I had to go out and check he was here with my order. He then came to my door and showed me a dirty bag with my food all lose within it covered in Coke, he just stood and stared at me whilst chatting away and laughing on the phone, I had to ask if this was my order he replied with yes and expected me to take it!!! I requested he called the restaurant which he did but took his time whilst he finished his other phone call, restaurant agreed he could go back and they would send another order. Over an hour later and I have not heard a thing or received my order. Disgusting service.

Very recently renovated and looking like a classic 80s diner. Food is delicious and the servers are very friendly. I grew up coming here and I still come back. Lovely people, lovely food, just lovely lovely lovely ☺️

Excellent customer service from Jeff and his Team. Always makes his customers feel welcome. The Restaurant is always clean and tidy. Favourite with my Boys is the Chicken Strips and Chips, which has become a weekly thing 🤣 The Burgers are lovely too....just need to try out their breakfast one day!

Yummy! Welcoming and friendly place. Always very clean and a pleasure to visit. Food is always freshly cooked and very filling. Good selection on the menu and omg the puddings.. . YUMMY! We need to go more often beats mcdonald's or burger king for sure.

Took my family for late breakfast this morning and could not have asked for more. The service was truly fantastic, made us feel very welcome, very kind polite and welcoming to my little one and thoroughly helpful and attentive and generally very friendly! I've been coming to this restaurant ever since I can remember, I'm 24 now and the restaurant is better than ever. Jeff is incredibly kind hearted, caring and funny and always makes sure the food is in tip top condition and that you are satisfied. Everybody here is lovely and the food even better

Just ordered two half pounder burgers and 2 chips. Chips were good but there was something about the burgers that were different this time. They almost tasted watery and the bottom bun was really wet. Sauce not as thick as it usually it. Not sure if we’ll order again.

I had not been since before Covid and honestly this restaurant was spotless. It was very quiet when we went in....Sunday early pm and the staff were incredibly nice. The drinks came out promptly and the food was nice and hot and beautifully presented. My youngest NEVER EVER cleans his plate and not a chip was left on his plate...infact I think he was the first to finish. The children all had puddings which came out looking bright and colourful and special. Very good value I felt for a lovely treat.

Spotlessly clean, restaurant and toilets. Lovely people who own/run. Make you feel at home. Food was fab. Son comes in with his carer in week and said he wanted us to come for Sunday lunch/dinner. Glad we did🙂

Would always come to this location on Christmas Eve after visiting family in the area. The staff are always friendly and remember us. The place is clean and as always the food is great! I no longer live in the U.K. but I really do miss dining at this franchise!

My partner and I came in today (Sunday 20th Jan 2022) around 2:30 and we were served super quick! The people that run this restaurant are the most friendly people I’ve ever met. Within about 5 minutes of ordering, our food came and my partner stupidly knocked my drink over which went all over me and my food. The man and women serving us ran over, moved our table, and took the food away and bought back fresh food AND a new drink on the house. Honestly the most genuine people and service in Surrey, not to mention the food was incredible. I love this place, we will be coming back with family and friends next time. Thank you! Xx
