Lots of variety on offer and plenty of hot/cold options. Decent prices and nice, fresh food. The traditional pasties were delicious!

We bought two slices of gorgeous cake here, a Dorset apple cake and a toffee fudge, both were really delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed them! We were disappointed that it wasn’t the lovely man who served us the last time we were in Wool as he was so friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend

This bakery has changed hands and it is nice for the village that it didn't close. The shop looks very smart and the range of products are different. We were buying cakes & pasties for lunch for 7 people, so tooka little time choosing Hiwever the lady with the grey hair who served us wasn't very friendly, when we asked about a particular cake she said " I don't know I don't eat them'" A younger lady woth dark hair was bringing our some more cakes, she smiled & said Good morning and spoke about the cakes she had bought out - a credit to the shop.

Well worth a visit or several. Staying locally to this and popped in a couple of times to get fresh pastries and fresh bread. Lovely quality and staff welcoming too.

This is very much a good old fashioned bakery, not a restaurant. Serves a variety of freshly baked breads, cakes, buns, pastries and sandwiches. You can reserve items in advance via a simple phone call. I always visit when staying in the area and would use regularly if I lived in Wool or nearby.

So I created this premises on TripAdvisor having visited here multiple times during a family holiday in Dorset because it wasn't previously on here and thought it deserved to be The premises is situated in the village of Wool which is an ideal base for sightseeing around the locality The bakers itself is a proper old school bakery. No jazzy signs. No fancy decor. You could drive past it and barely not notice the place as it still has a sign which looks like it has been up for decades. Inside is much the same- old style wood decor, but it just adds to the character of the place The big draw (and why we kept going back as a family) was the quality of the food. Absolutely delicious. Throughout the course of the week we sampled: Fresh bread- delicious. Multiple varieties available Cakes- Amazing iced donuts, cinnamon buns, Belgian buns, fruit buns. There were so many more cakes on offer, all of which were home made and huge Fresh rolls/sandwiches- they also offer a filled rolls service. Chicken, bacon, tuna, salad etc etc. All served on a choice of their homemade bread/rolls etc Hot and cold pastries- sausage rolls etc Pricing was more than fair for what you get. Today we had the following for around 20 pounds 2 baguettes filled with chicken and bacon mayo Ham and cheese cob Chicken salad cob 5 various cakes 2 sausage rolls Staff have always been super friendly and we've thoroughly enjoyed supporting a local business whilst on our holiday. If this was local to us we'd use it all the time. Really fantastic little no frills place

We held our wedding recently in August at the Vineyard, and it was honestly idyllic. Andrew & Sarah were so warm and welcoming, and Danielle the venue manager and planner extraordinaire was truly so wonderful and ensured everything came together perfectly on the day. We couldn’t have picked somewhere more beautiful, and couldn’t recommend the vineyard more to other couples looking to tie the knot there in the future.

The cakes were (vegan) out of this world - so delicious. Some vegan cakes can be heavy, but the ones we had were perfect.

Hidden away. Small pub with a large welcome. Very friendly locals and decent choice of bar drinks. Recommended!

We visited for lunch and had some lovely unique food and service. Tucked away in a corner of commercial road it is not obvious this is a restaurant/ cafe but it has generous and comfortable seating upstairs. Serving a some different dishes, we had the stroganoff with Cous Cous and the pickled Herring with homemade Sourdough and salad followed by baked cheesecake and coffee. All the dishes were very tasty with good sized portions at reasonable prices backed up by friendly helpful service. Highly recommended for a different and tasty lunch

One of the best meals I've had in a very long time. All food was lovely and generous portions, the starters (cheese souffle and salt and pepper squid) were exceptional, and the tiramisu was the best I have ever had!! Friendly, efficient service and lovely relaxed setting with fab decor. Already looking at when we can come again! Thank you so much.
