Went for a family meal with kids. Thoroughly enjoyed our time. Well greeted on arrival with a smile. Good selection of drinks. Kids menu available. Requested for extra spicy Penne Arrabiata and the chef did not disappoint. Well presented, great service and importantly great tasting food. Caramelised onion and cheese on bread started is to die for! Ending with a great tasting Tiramisu! ❤️ Thank you and well done to the team.

Ordered a pizza from here off just eat. Turned up Luke warm and Sainsbury’s down the road does a far better one. I’ll stick with dominos if I’m to spend that much on pizza ever again

Went with my girlfriend tonight, our mains were spot on and cooked with fresh ingredients. I haven't been to a Wildwood and years and will be returning. The staff were friendly and attentive and it's refreshing to see a chain restaurant serving quality food as I've been really disappointed with their competition. Well done to the Manager who we spoke to briefly tonight. I will always give kudos to restaurants as hospitality is a tough gig.

I love this place, the staff are so so welcoming and kind and really try to help which is rare these days! They don't act like you owe them something 🤣 there was a dish that I wanted that they had discontinued and they had it made for me! Fyi it was baked brie with caramelised garlic hazelnuts and honey, it's to die for! The food is great and the feel of the place is really lovely too

Came back here to celebrate our birthday again. Yet again good food, it was mothers day but still didn't wait too long for our food but drinks did take a little while but was expected. Went for a large base pizza with a classic mojito.

Absolutely abysmal, ordered from deliveroo as thought it looked like a nice place we'll was very disappointed the "sweet potato fries were so burnt they literally looked like firewood

Looking for a quick bite to hold a business meeting. Due to being the weekend, needed to be a place suitable for children too. Ended up deciding on this place, and we were not disappointed. Wonderfully furnished, comfortable establishment. More than that our server Lauren was very professional, friendly and engaging. Taking the time to answer all of our questions without fuss (Of which there were many, and she had probably answered a million times before). Speedy service with a smile for sharing starters and mains, desserts was a little slower, however there was a sudden influx of customers, so I had anticipated this, and we were approached again by Lauren to apologise for the delay, which was of course fine. It gave us time for our food to settle and to settle business. The food was incredible, the whole experience was truly splendid and will definitely be returning either as a larger business function or privately. Lauren you are truly an asset to the establishment and the chefs are top notch. Many thanks for making our experience one to remember.

Visited with friends (we meet 4 times a year.) First time here in a few years and unfortunately although the service was excellent the food was a complete let down. Starters Olives great but hard to get wrong! Calamari good potion size but over-cooked and rubbery. Pesto bread poorly presented and an absolute rip of for £6 Mains. Overcoked poorly presented Seabass. Steak ordered pink but came grey. Calzone. Undercooked doughy, under seasoned and underfilled. Tasteless. Waitresses were great, really friendly and attentive and one with quicker than lightening reactions saved a knocked over full wine glass from completely soaking me. Unfortunately great service does not compensate the tasteless overpriced poorly presented food so sadly we are unlikely to return.

My daughter had her birthday party with her friends there on Friday the 16th February. Maia was our waitress and was amazing. Lauren helped her too. They made her day very special, The whole team have always been amazingly welcoming every time we have been there. Kasia and Germano have always treated us like family and spoil my daughter so much ever since she was little. The whole team always goes above and beyond for all their customers. Thank you guys for always making our experience there delightful.

Have been to Wildwood a few times, for lunch with family, friends and colleagues. Have also been a few times for dinner with friends and family. Recently went for dinner with my husband and two young children. Our waitress Lauren was great from start to finish! Food was ordered and arrived quickly, both mains and dessert was tasty and beautiful! They accommodated us to sit somewhere where the eldest couldn’t get up and run about and most of all, our server was absolutely brilliant with our children making it an overall lovely experience!

We had a lovely meal here. Food was excellent and great atmosphere. All the staff were lovely smiley people and nothing was too much trouble especially our server Paula. We'll done to everyone, excellent customer service.

Amazing food, really friendly staff and lovely atmosphere

So very disappointed 😞 Went for niece’s 21st, so table for 10, it was over two hours for us to get our main meal with the gap between starter and main being ridiculous. We asked a few times and just got ‘sorry’ but frankly no real idea when our food would arrive. The staff were friendly but not informative nor did they use their initiative to keep us updated given the time our order was taking. We weren’t the only ones experiencing the delays and whilst we did get a discount on our food plus a complimentary cocktail for the birthday girl which was nice as was the food, but it was such a shame that the wait time spoiled the overall experience.

Took GF out for a birthday meal. Brought a cake. They put the candles on cake, brought it out for dessert and sang the song. It made for a memorable time. Got brownie points with the GF - profit!

Visited for a Christmas work night and received fantastic customer service throughout and brilliant food. Would definitely return. Only tiny gripe, order your steak one up from your normal preference as each one was under cooked to the order!

Food and service was very good, staff looked after us very well especially the children in the party. It got very busy, understandable as it was the Christmas period and the restaurant was a little noisy which made it difficult to hold a conversation but overall it was a lovely restaurant

Wonderful restaurant for Staff Christmas get together. Ambiance and festive atmosphere combined with lovely 3 course meal and drinks enhance the experience of this restaurant based in Maidstone, Kent. Special mention dishes are Chicken Pate in Starters and Chicken Romana in Mains, followed by Chocolate Fondant in desserts. All taste lovely and staff service was brilliant though restaurant was packed with 10/12 Staff Christmas parties on a Saturday night.

Works meal for 40 people, great night had by all. Staff were amazing, friendly and attentive. Will be back for sure

Visited with a group of about 12 and the space had been set up ready for us, which is always good. As a group we had a variety of food and everyone appeared happy with what they had. Only downside was there was quite a delay at one point for the last two people getting there food. Almost expected with a large group, but it’s the reason for 4 stars.

We absolutely loved it yummy food and they were so lovely to my son it was his 5th birthday. I'd love to come again 😋

Disappointing experience. We hadn't booked but only 3 of us on a Tuesday night, so we were seated fairly quickly. However, given that the restaurant was barely half full and there were 3 or 4 staff members standing chatting at any given time, it took a little while for our drinks and food order to be taken. The chips were hot, but I think they had been fried a few times, as they were slightly chewy and not very nice. The chicken burger had clearly been sat under a heat lamp for some time as about 1/3 was so tough and dry it was inedible. The waitress handed us our food and disappeared before we could ask for sauces or anything. Service charge was automatically added to the bill, and we didn't feel that the service warranted it this time, so we asked for it to be removed - it took two people to do this. I'm not sure if it's to make you feel embarrassed about asking to take it off? £18 for a partially inedible meal and a sprite seemed a bit much - should have gone to Wetherspoons! I've had good food and a lovely experience here as part of a pre-booked party with a set menu, but I know now not to return for dinner on the normal menu.

Bolognese was nice and the service was so quick. Really good value midweek lunch deal. Definitely good for a quick, but good lunch.

Myself and my husband came here on Tuesday evening to have a meal to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary which was the next day. The waitress immediately showed us to our table (we were walk ins not prebooked) and the service overall was 5*, no pressure to order straight away, checked on us regularly to make sure we were OK. Food was delicious and we didn't need to wait too long for it either.

Booked a private party here for our family of 18. Pre-ordered food before the day, and staff were very helpful in allowing us to decorate and personalise our private dining area for the evening. The food was lovely and all served correctly and in good time. Staff were very nice, happy, friendly, helpful and attentive. Made our family occasion very special, and I would recommend this venue for any similar events. Thank you Wildwood.

Visited here while in Maidstone overnight. My wife's food took ages to arrive so my GF pasta dish was pretty congealed by the time it did. Also, I ordered my carbonara with chicken but that never arrived. In fairness to Wildwood, they took my meal off the bill but I was disappointed with my experience here. I have marked service as a 2 purely because the staff were helpful but the slowness and errors would be a 1.

My son just had the lunchtime menu with his Grandma today and is so impressed. They both said the food was amazing especially the tomato soup and the chicken burger. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was really welcoming. I'm coming with them next time :-)

Ordered meal for home delivery. however incorrect dishes delivered. My daughter ordered a Gluten free vegetarian meal and received a standard meat spaghetti bolanase. Manager refuses to do anything about it saying contact deliveroo. Surly Wildwood handed bag to deliveroo so they would be responsible...

Visited for a work related meal, very lovely atmosphere and food was lovely. Food was great and was served reasonably fast. It’s expensive and not many options on the menu.

We went as a party of 17 and they were amazing. We weren't required to pre-order food and they didn't make us feel like an inconvenience (which a group of 17 people obviously is 😅). The food came out quickly and was delicious and fair priced. A couple of minor errors but with a table that large it's fair. Only 1 bigger error was plastic in one of our carbonaras, the person eating it wasn't too fussed tbf, the manager was super apologiletic and offered to have it made fresh but we said it was fine, she had no problem eating the rest, so the manager gave the meal for free without us asking or anything, which was very kind. Overall I recommend this restaurant especially to those that struggle with getting massive bookings at other restaurants.

Called to ask if tomatoes were in the dish we wanted as partner is allergic. Was told there isn't, put it in allergy requirements anyway when ordering. Still came with tomatoes in the dish. Called up and was put on "hold" could hear everything they were saying, accusing us of lying. Was then told they could see we specified no tomatoes but kitchen wasn't told. Only thing offered was a refund on the single dish and to reorder but pay delivery, service fee and extra charge again. So my partner didn't have dinner that night

Had a lovely meal here yesterday. We ordered off the lunchtime menu which was very good value for money - 3 courses for only £14.95. Lovely decor inside and the staff were very friendly and the service quick. We haven’t been here for a while...

This is our favourite restaurant by far in Maidstone. Great food. Staff are great lead by the lovely Katarzyna. So friendly and they always go the extra mile to please their customers. Well done Wildwood. Thank you so much.

Had an amazing time for my daughter’s birthday lunch (04/03/23). Kasia went above and beyond to make this celebration truly special. On the day, her team was exceptional, especially Joanne who was our waitress. The girls wanted to have a “grown up” meal and the team made them feel that way. I cannot thank Kasia and her team enough for everything/ all their hard work. And Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the special meals we have had in the past.

First time I'd been in here having wanted to try it out for ages. Went in as part of big group of 16 as a get together for someone leaving work. Overall the food seemed very nice, and though I wasn't paying on this occasion, it did seem quite pricey for what you get. I ordered the Baked Cod Loin, that was £16.50 on its own. It was very nice, beautifully cooked and seasoned, and came presented wrapped in the parchment and foil with the assorted grains etc in with it - but if you wanted fries or salad with it that was extra...on top of the £16! I'd certainly not rule out going back in sometime but I think it'll only be when it's a special occasion, as a treat. The staff were welcoming as soon as we arrived, service very good and the atmosphere in there was nice and generally relaxing. It got quite busy but not chaotically so. Overall, a lovely place with a good atmosphere and nice staff but a tad pricey....

Food was very good, as was the service. Ambience was affected by other diners. Shame, not Wildwoods fault, just the slow breakdown of society.

We had a 60th surprise party planned at a different venue who let us down 45 minutes before our booking time. Wildwood stepped up, got tables organised for the party and nothing was too much trouble. The waiting staff were amazing! Friendly, attentive, constantly refilling...

Not so good on service though 😕 We waited quite a while for everything to come to the table, even though it wasn't so busy in the restaurant. But the staff were polite and friendly. Service charge is included on the bull, but is optional. I would recommend this place 👍

Booked a table for 8.15pm for my birthday with 6 of my friends. Arrived on time. Told several times to hurry up as the kitchen was closing at 8.30pm! Really rude. Couldn't have any puddings as the ovens were off. Same with the coffee machine....

It's OK. I don't know what it is about wild woods I always leave somehow slightly unsatisfied. 3.5 would be a fairer score.

The food is good value in terms of portion size and preparation etc but the menu is so-so and the food is middle of the road for taste in my opinion. The menu seems deliberately generic to cater for more pallettes rather than being focused. However, what I think is great about this venue is their ability to cater for large groups with ease. Not easy to accomplish. I was recently in a party of 30+ and the service was spot on. The (pre-ordered) 3 course meal came at the right pace and meals were served at the right temperature. Servers were attentive and friendly, with drinks orders being taken as often as required. I'd personally choose somewhere more original for a meal for two but to cater for a big group or event where functionality is the most important thing, these guys will serve you well.

Looks a nice place but I didn't enjoy the main course I ordered. I ordered Steak and it wasn't that nice. It was only warm and quiet red in the middle when I ordered well done. The starter I ordered of bruchetta was nice though.

Terrible toilets, they're mixed so it's uncomfortable if you want to freshen up lipstick etc. The way they work is a long row with alternate male and female, but you are totally reliant on the men who use them respecting the signs on the loo, which doesn't always happen. Men who enjoy using the loo with a woman's sign on it and leaving the door unlocked so that a woman can walk in on them, are well catered for here. I walked in on one of these on Friday, it was quite early so I don't think it was a case of him being drunk and confused, but if he wasn't he's got plausible deniability. If restaurants are going to have loos organised in this way then they need to have staff going in regularly to police the usage. I hope they do regular sweeps for hidden cameras as well and it might be helpful to have signs up reminding everyone to use the right loo and to lock the door while doing so. I did tell a waiter about walking in on a man who chose not to lock the door and he asked if I wanted to see the manager about it, but I didn't. I wanted to enjoy an evening out, not have tiresome conversations about toilets. I've no idea why restaurants think adding this extra nuisance to an evening out is a good idea.
