Excellent in every way. Throughly recommend. Value for money and tasty local produce. Good. Friendly host and seems to have many regulars.

Having driven passed this place many times we decided to call in today , We are so glad that we did .What a lovely little place . Two burgers , one portion of chips , a coffee and diet coke all for just over £12 . All cooked while we waited , piping hot and very nice , The cook was very attentive, I just loved the place , we will be back 😀

Called in for a coffee and bacon sandwich, both excellent, hot and tasty. Clean and tidy. Will call again when in the area.

Well worth having to drive to Market Weighton to have my windscreen replaced. Almost walked past Wicstun Tearooms, you need a sign outside. Ordered the Standard breakfast with a hash brown & a cup of tea. I can honestly say, it’s by far the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. It was piping hot, the bacon was of the best quality and the hot tea arrived in a nice sized mug. I’d highly recommend this hidden away cafe. Thankyou Pam

From the outside, it looks a little dated.. inside its lovely, clean, and well presented little spot. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and welcoming . It's definitely worth a visit

If you ever come to market weighton this is the best cafe in england for good english breakfasts in my opinion. Do the best sandwiches and can get them as big as you want!!

My partner and I often visit the Wicstun tearoom for a breakfast. It’s cooked to perfection and excellent value. A large breakfast costs £7.50 and you get 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 eggs, black pudding, hash brown, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, 2 slices of toast and a tea or coffee. I have the vegetarian option which is even cheaper. There are plenty of other options on the menu too all at sensible prices. The owner and staff are friendly and it is very clean. Don’t let the frontage of the shop put you off. You will definitely return once you’ve tried it. Can’t recommend this place enough. Give it a go.

A excellent place to stop for lunch if you are cycling through. There are times when you really just need to sit down in a nice cafe and have someone bring you a reasonably-priced plate of scrambled eggs on toast and a coffee, and this will hit the spot.

Having dropped the car off for service at a nearby garage, i walked into Market Weighton and having read a couple of reviews, i decided to visit for breakfast. The Cafe is situated on the main street. There were five tables each with four chairs so plenty of seating, the decor had some very interesting old pictures of the town which i am sure could have given children and adult’s an insight into old Market Weighton. The menu was comprehensive and i also saw a specials menu on the wall, beef stew and also mutton stew were two i recall. I ordered a large breakfast with tea and toast. The proprietor took my order and offered me a couple of daily papers to read while waiting as he cooked the breakfast fresh. The tea was served in a mug straightaway and was of good quality tea and strong. The breakfast duly arrived and comprised two bacon rashers, two sausages, two eggs, black pudding, hash brown, mushrooms, beans and tomatoes. It was piping hot and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. The cafe quickly filled up and from the conversations i overheard it was obviously a very popular cafe with the locals. The proprietor despite being busy took the time to check if everything i had was ok and also if i wanted anymore tea. The price of the breakfast was £7.50 and given the freshness and quality of the items, i thought this to be excellent value. I will definitely return next time the car is in for a service.

Do not be put off by the outside of this cafe ,nick makes the best breakfast ,such good value & tasty .

Just called in today as I was passing. Cappuccino was excellent, as for the bacon, egg and sausage hot sandwich, I won't be eating anything else today.

Clean environment. Friendly . Chatty. A freshly cooked sandwich done to my specifications .All at a competitive price.And a handwipe!

Good food, good value, friendly staff....if you're hungry this is the place to be. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed.

A perfect combination of very good straight forward food at sensible prices in a nice clean room with friendly service. We called there yesterday for breakfast before starting a walk in the local countryside. Just a great start to the day, especially so in these Covid -19 times.

Is this the best value breakfast in Yorkshire? Superb standard breakfast and presentation with hot drink and toast all for £5. Home cooked menu of bangers and mash and Yorkshire pudding with onion gravy similarly excellent value. If passing Market Weighton be prepared to detour. Lucky locals!

The service welcoming. Well cooked and good value meals. Very nice mug of tea. Which very welcome on a cold morning . Would be happy to return. The breakfast was very good value. Cafe decor simple however very clean. With a nice friendly atmosphere .

after reading reviews thought we would call on sat 26 oct for breakfast on our way to York well what can i say it was lovely, service great food great large breakfast and a standard two drinks all for £11.50 certainly good value will call again

Really lovely full English breakfast ( gluten free)a big plate full and excellent quality , big mugs of coffee , great service, really good prices and very nice guy running it , deserves to do well! definitely recommend.

A large breakfast which consisted of bacon, sausage, fried eggs, black pudding, hash brown, mushrooms, beans and tomatoes, two slices of toast and a mug of tea, we also ordered another cup of tea and a sausage and bacon sandwich and all for £10.90. The food was good quality and everything was served hot, we even asked if the black pudding was local, it was so nice we wanted to buy some to take home. We were served by a very lovely American lady, she was polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We will be back.

Called here yesterday for a cooked breakfast before a walk round the Londesborough estate. This was our first visit and I'm sure it won't be our last. A cooked breakfast with tea and toast for a fiver! You can't go wrong with tasty well cooked food and great service. Don't expect frills, just a great little cafe serving great food. Highly recommended by all three of us, keep up the good work!
