Whyteleafe Pizza & Grill did an amazing job providing the perfect food for my 30th birthday celebration, and it was a huge hit with everyone! The breaded prawns, calamari, jalapeño cream cheese bites, dough balls, grilled chicken ceasar salad and the mixed grill were all delicious. The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced, and the food arrived hot and ready to serve. Everyone loved the variety, and it made for a really nice spread. My presentation was complemented by the quality of the food, making the day even more special. Highly recommend them for any event!

Had tasty peri-peri chicken and lamb chops

Delivery order, 1st time ordering online, the order took over an hour before I called the restaurant and I was told that the order was waiting for a driver. I challenged this as the app clearly stated the restaurant supplied their own drivers, he responded with "no brother, we are waiting for a driver" I contacted the app service, and the restaurant would not pick up the phone. (Presumably closed) No food, order refunded by app service 100% I will never use this or their associated company which I believe is in Caterham. Terrible service and not truthful. Update: 1hr & 30 minutes or more, the food has turned up, tepid and not in an edible way. Driver apologised, and gave another reason of taking too many orders at the last minute. Meal ruined.

Quick, cheap and high quality food

The chicken is really really nice, the pizza is OK, the chicken wings are in a spicy bbq sauce which was ashame as my little girl loves chicken wings so wish they would offer non spicy bbq wings. The staff are nice and friendly definitely go back back for the chicken it's not dry atall and always tastes good and love the peri peri fries also their milk shakes are really nice.

I wanted fish and chips today, but the chippy was closed so ended up in here across the road. I ordered a portion of chips and a chicken fillet peri burger. Both the chips and burger tasted fine, but the price was ridiculous a £13.99. I'd expect to pay that to sit down and eat in gastropub but not from a takeaway. This is a £7-8 meal tops in any of the hundreds of other takeaway places locally

You guys give Nando's a run for money and definitely flavour. Better than your compradre in Caterham Valley.

Well, where do I begin? The food was absolutely tasty. it's my local and the only place I go. The chips are nice and crispy, and the presentation is great. The coleslaw is so good you could eat it by itself. The chicken was really good, and Nandos doesn't compare. I'll be sure to take some pictures of my next order. Keep up the great service guys, I appreciate you.

This is the best restaurant I have visited, very good pizza and even better Peri Peri chicken and sauce! The staff are also very kind and friendly especially the owner, and the establishment is very hygienic. Whenever I come to, Croydon, this is where I eat every time! The best Grilled Chicken I’ve tasted in a while…I love ordering from here. The delivery is usually quicker than expected, the food is always as expected and the food is always fresh and ready to eat. Additionally, when I’ve left notes on the order they always get it. Each time I order Half Chicken, Medium Hot, Homemade Coleslaw, Chips and a Drink. Starter - Beef Pepperoni Dough Balls! Amazing! P.S not sure what it is about the Medium sauce but it’s so nice…my son loves the ketchup too!

Our first visit here and we ordered Peri Peri Chicken Pizza, Chicken Special Pizza, 1/2 Chicken Peri Peri. It was really good, flavourful and will definitely be back to order/ deliver. Ordered from Pizza & Grill several times. The food is always consistently good. Last week, we tried the chicken wings. They were succulent and very tasty. I'm more than happy to recommend them going forward. The seafood is our go-to. The only negative, which is not food related, they should move the deep fryer from the service area and open up a clearer waiting area. More importantly, the staff are very friendly and willing to go the extra mile.

Been ordering from these guys regularly for over a year now, and the food they send out time after time is absolutely outstanding in both quality and consistency. Never had a bad order from them, which is unheard of from most places in my experience. The peri-peri chicken is always fresh and tasty and the home-made slaw is a real star. Pizza dripping in water because of the cheap frozen dough. All the toppings, cheese, slides straight off. Knife and fork needed and even then subpar taste. A shame - used to be a great local place.

Dropped in for a take out coffee and loved the relaxed atmosphere. The coffee was fantastic. Would definitely be a regular if I was a local.

I love lamb chops and I usually order for takeout. Tried this place for first time based on reviews and boy am I glad I did! The grilled lamp chops are hands down one of the best I've ever had! They are proper size lamb chops, so juicy and cooked to perfection. The rice is very nice and they have this special sauce that goes great with it. I will definitely order from here again.

I Went there for my son’s birthday yesterday and booked for 5 but one dropped out and it was very clear they wasn’t happy . Sat down and tried several times to get the attention of someone to get a drink which took 30 minutes eventually the guy the met us at the door came over . Waited ages again to get our order taken for food eventually having to call someone over ourselves. The food was good though . I paid fully in cash leaving a£10 tip even though the service was terrible . We got up to leave and was followed out to the door by one of the staff telling us that we hadn’t paid I informed he we had and left a tip he looked towards the guy that greeted us at the door who nodded to say we had no apology or anything. Never going back it’s a copycat Nando’s at best .

Wow 🎈I came here with nine friends to celebrate a 70th birthday. I highly recommend it if you want lovely food and excellent service. We took a birthday cake and candles in with is. The staff put the candles on for us, cut it up and brought it back to the table. Nothing was too much trouble. They also let us decorate the table.

Order from these alot and usually love the food, however this time the chicken, avocado and goats cheese salad came with about 2 slices of avocado and no goats cheese. Very disappointing.

Nice pizza, first time I’ve ordered from here! But I won’t order again as the pizza’s arrived cold. Not very happy.

DO NOT EAT FROM HERE! Made a £60 order for myself and some pals on a Friday night. The 2 pizzas on the order were the worst any of us have ever had! They were barely cooked both toppings and dough. The first bite of the pizza tasted like chewing into a hot wet chewy flannel. You pick a slice up and all of the toppings slipped straight off. VILE!!! Would not give to my dogs and I only ate a couple of slices myself as I was so hungry but I had to stop myself due to the sheer risk to my health. Chips were ok.

Very disappointed with a much anticipated large group pre Xmas booking for the whole restaurant made many weeks prior, having to be cancelled at short notice. Restaurant management decided to change their policy just a few days prior to our booking and demanded a substantial surcharge to cover the fact that we had booked the whole venue exclusively for 70 guests. Something the restaurant happily agreed to at point of booking by the way and provided a short set menu. This last minute policy change forced a cancellation and we were fortunate to hold our annual event at the Bollywood restaurant down the road instead, whose staff, conversely, offered outstanding service and food. I understand a restaurant would want to maximise a profit on a weekend booking, but we had already paid 50% of the costs you asked for and made plans, so moving the goalposts like this so close to the event speaks volumes about your true approach to service and short term profiteering. Well played! You have upset 70 locals and their families who will certainly not be using your restaurant going forwards.

Phoned the restaurant and made a booking for me and my partner. It was booked for 7pm on a Friday. I arranged a babysitter as its been 9 months since we have a baby and haven't been out together. On top we had some good news to celebrate. Phoned the restaurant to inform them I'm running late and they said no table was booked for me. This was a mistake on their behalf. They didn't apologise, did not try to rectify the matter. Simply.brushed me off saying they had no space. Serious bad customer service right there. Our night was salvaged by casa lola. They didn't have a table either but allowed us to have a drink and somehow we managed to get a table and amazing food. Will never try to book again at whyteleafe grill..next time probably should have better trained staff to treat potential customers right.
