Prices are a little high but no more than you expect for a supermarket in this position. Good fresh stock.

Huge selection of products that are certainly not available in Austria... Absolutely recommended

Hot food bar is expensive for what it is and my bowl wasn’t even entirely filled! And the Mac n cheese tastes like it’s been there for a longggg time.

A little piece of home in London. Similar selection to the US. Lots of great healthy snacks and drinks available.

The store is very well located. It's right next to the screens at Picadilly Circus. You will find quality fresh products there, and you can also go there to eat (there are takeaway food stands) and sit in the square (there are tables and chairs).

Picked up some dates today costing 10.99, after opening and eating a few I noticed the bottom layer of dates were mouldy. First and last time I’ll be shopping there. 🤮

I really like this shop especially for the cheeses and the cooked food like the grilled aubergines!

Super clean grocery store with a small food section. You can eat the food you purchased there on the 1st floor. There are daily offers and for example on Thursday we got a Margherita pizza for £10. Toilets available.

I love shopping in Whole Foods and always spend a decent amount of money there for my groceries. I have never bought their self picked hot food before so I decided to try some today and regretted. Their hot food is ridiculously expensive. I took 2 pieces of skinny chicken, a small portion of broccoli, some sweet potatoes, some gravy of the beef goulash without taking the meat, some mixed vegetables. I did not take a lot of each and there is space left inside my box for more if i want. My box cost me £17.71 and it isn't heavy! I am happy to pay for good food but for this portion and quality, the price is ridiculous! Now I'm heading off to buy more food elsewhere because it's not enough for my dinner. Grumpy and hungry.....

Disappointing experience. First time we went back there since NYE 2019. No trays to carry your food on anymore because of Covid, extortionate prices, well as you’d expect in Central London and poor self check out areas too probably due to the shocking phone reception inside most of the building. Food was good but shopping experience wise, avoid.

The place to eat!! Very rich and economical

Great location 5mns walk from Soho with a large variety of foods both fresh, pre packed, fruit, etc. you can. Also order a pastry or lunch and cuppaccino sitting down alfresco.

They have a lot of options for take away food but be careful as it’s priced by weight. I.e pasta + chicken could cost you 18£ but a salad around 8-9£. Burrito option is good, 9£ decent size. Pre-cooked salads are not the best. Long queues at 12pm!

Clean supermarket, manager and staff are friendly. Asked me to carry my dog politely as I was walking through wf. Pricey nonetheless you get quality products and produce. Recommended.

The hot food is the biggest rip off and tastes extremely mediocre, and if you fill the hot food box up expect to pay £17. Yes £17 for food that tastes microwavable. They do fresh burritos and they are soo amazing and reasonably priced but please skip the hot food bar. The soups are bad too!!

A must-visit place if you want to eat better than just street food, without going to a restaurant. Ideal for flexitarians or vegetarians, many options exist, whether to eat on site (hot or cold), to take away, or even to do your shopping. The atmosphere is warm and the products are of excellent quality. Be careful with the prices, but nothing extravagant either.

A wonderful place to get fresh fruit with s fishmonger + they stock “Conscious chocolates”!!!

I had an unsettling experience at Whole Foods in Soho today, which I feel compelled to share. As a Black man, unfortunately, I’m not unfamiliar with being treated differently in public spaces, but this experience was particularly disappointing. I entered the store with my partner, and we eventually separated to shop individually. Almost immediately, I noticed a security guard begin to follow me. Every time I stopped, he would stop close by, making it clear that I was under his watchful eye. When my partner approached me, the security guard greeted him with a “hi,” which I found strange, as no such greeting was extended to me. We continued shopping, and once again, after my partner and I separated, the security guard resumed his proximity to me. His demeanour was anything but friendly, and I felt like I was being treated as a suspect simply for being in the store. No one should feel humiliated or unwelcome while simply shopping, regardless of their background or appearance. As someone who has dedicated years to academia, holding a Master’s degree, a PhD, and having completed three postdoctoral research positions, now serving as a Senior Lecturer at one of the leading higher education institutions in the UK, it is incredibly disheartening that places like this still treat their clients based on racist stereotypes. A new addition to my “never-to-return” places. It’s a shame that in this day and age, a supermarket like Whole Foods would allow such behaviour to persist. Shame.

very practical and nice concept, the hot dishes made at will are however quite expensive in the end I found, for what it is, but it is still nice to have a hot dish available made as we do wish.

This place has a good selection of goods. Very expensive....there is not much farm food however there is a good amount of fresh food. I am always lured in by the tortilla chips and desserts

Friendly staff, very clean toilets and good variety of food.

The selection is good and the food from the food corner was tasty but the service and the behaviour of the security guard was appalling. We got food 10-15 minutes before what apparently was closing time and asked whether we can have it upstairs at the dining section and was told yes. 5 minutes after we went upstairs a security guard came upstairs and told us we need to leave NOW as that section is now closed. We explained we had asked downstairs and had bought food only a few minutes ago. He walked away and came back a minute later and told us that the store is now closed, and we need to leave, all of this while trying to intimate us by standing 5 centimeters away from us. He even went as far as saying we don't own the store so we need to do as we're told we asked to speak to the manager so he can walk away. By this point we had lost appetite already, so we threw away our food and walked out. The manager was by the door, we explained what had happened and all she could say was "Sorry" while waiting forward to lock the door after us. We left at 22:02 the store closes at 22:00. I would recommend you communicate to customers the closing times and close the dining area 10 minutes prior to the closing time of the store to avoid throwing people out half way through their meal. Maybe also train your staff not to be rude and disrespectful to customers. This was on the 04/07/24.

Homemade, quality and fresh food at a very good price

Manchego cheese is not blue cheese. I have been a customer of WF for years, and this is the 2nd time in a month I've had a major issue with product quality control. You'd think for the price they would do the basics.

Terrible experience in this store in which employees allow themselves to express their political ideas in an explicit and offensive manner An employee, Soraya, greets you at the checkout with a scarf on her head resembling a keffiyeh and a Palestinian flag slung over her shoulder. So many symbols synonymous, for many customers, with the terrible atrocities of 07/10, destruction and hatred of Jews. To flee!

Have been a long term costumer at this lovely store and will never come back. They have an employee serving costumers with the keffiyeh around her head. Disgusting to see this is allowed inside this store !!!!!!!! It should be a neutral place where everyone is welcomed. REVOLTING Update 14/Jun: Your employee Soraya is using your store for spreading her political ideology. She is currently serving shocked clients with the flag at the till. Just right now. You have done nothing to solve this issue even when you were alerted 2 months ago. This store is a lovely place and you continue to allow this. Everyone should come to this store and feel welcome, it should be a neutral place. Revolting!

My go to store whenever I’m central London. Has all the essentials I need. Wish they would open a store near East London

Staff are terribly rude. They stay in your way when you’re trying to view products (talking and laughing with colleagues with no concern about you) and treat customers with no respect. I’m not sure if this down to the colour of my skin (I sincerely hope not). I made a complaint by calling the manager and she was upset and said she would resolve.

Ridiculous prices. One medium sized pepper coated me over £1 and it wasn't even super fresh. But, sadly, I needed it and didn't have the time to go somewhere else

A good variety of food and healthy indeed

Really great store both for shopping and eating. Quality products and not that expensive when you think about the location, the city and the type of products (fresh/organic...). The store also offers food, I particularly recommend the burrito bowls which are excellent, inexpensive and healthy. You can get away with a burrito bowl, a drink and a yogurt for £11-12, a real complete meal for so little, it's almost unheard of in London.

Rude staff, cold food, crazy prices! I've been before, but won't be going back based on my last visit. A few points: I went in to get some hot food. Asked x3 staff for help, they were rude surley and unhelpful. In the end I gave up and asked a security guard who knew more about the produce than the team working there, seemingly! The soup I bought was cold watery, didn't come with bread and cost north of £7.00! On my way out I had the temerity to ask for some butter for my small, over priced, bread roll. The cashier just looked at me dumb founded before walking off. It's a shame because the produce and design of the store is nice, and the principal of bringing healthy ingredients to busy people is sound. But this is just badly done.

Very good place for lunch, a wide choice of cold and hot dishes to take away and a salad bar. Special mention for the broccoli/cheddar soup.

They don’t have enough staff for cleaning the shop

The quality of the 'fresh food' counter has fallen off a cliff. Previously you could enjoy fresh in house cooked food, now it is frozen, cheaper and therefore less nutritious and tasty imports. The people cooking even admit this. Absolute rip off prices too, plenty of alternatives around thankfully.

This place is absolutely amazing. So much choice of fresh organic food. The hot deli counter is very very good.

I’ve been told on several occasions to come back at a later date or time for the item I want as their “delivery” never seems to have arrived. Instead of making me trek to your store all the time how about you tell me in the first instance you do not stock that item anymore instead of falsely telling me it will be here in a delivery soon? This branch is receiving one star for having all the other organic products I need otherwise it could do much better with its understanding of what they do, and do not stock.

Warning! GMO food alert. A place called ‘whole foods’ shouldn’t be selling GMO foods. In more friendly news they seem to have fired the predator undercover security guard. All that aside, you can get some nice items here but the GMO issue can only get a 2 star.

Fewer and fewer vegetarian options at the hot bar. Today everything was dry with no gravy and most of the salads had run out two hours before closing. The kitchen can do better than this

The selection of food in the buffet is amazing, all really tasty and warm. You have pizza and burrito options as well. I loved it. The times I’ve been there I managed to get a seat, so I think it depends on the time you visit. Regarding shopping here, I feel like prices are a bit over the top, the sliced fruits in a plastic pack prices are crazy, but we can’t deny the amazing variety of organic and healthy food options. I will definitely come back to eat in the buffet and I recommend it.

We went in search of lunch and somewhere to sit down. First we thought there was no seating, but then we deduced that there was, if you were happy to carry your food the entire width of the shop and go upstairs. So we went back to the servery, but we just couldn’t fathom whether you were supposed to pay first and then go to one of the counters to get food, or do it the other way round and stand in the queue while your food cooled down. The people in front of us couldn’t work it out either. We gave up and went somewhere more user-friendly. Someone really needs to rethink this system!

12 quid for a cold meal is not worth it

I spent 75£, the food was excellent and service inside was good however when I get to the cashier - she stopped serving at me and indicated to go self check out, she said she needed to keep a look out but there was already someone keeping a look. Not helpful at all if you have large shopping.

The best in London. I go there to buy superfoods such as broccoli sprout, beets, pomegranate, coconut water, flaxseed oil, quinoa, dark chocolate and etc. I can buy fresh vegetables, fish, and meat. So many varieties of cheese as well. Everything is organic and safe.

Came here on a cheese tour organised through "See Your City". The London cheese crawl, I'll review that seperately, but every place we visited was great, including here. There is obviously so much more to this market than the cheese section, but the cheese section is immense! The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Lots of food options here! But I missed vegan options like cheese, ham and cold cuts in general.

I used to come here for years until I move abroad 3 years ago. Even though prices were always on the higher side it was still affordable. I cale back for the first time today and what a disappointment !! Prices are insanely high!! And the health/beauty section, which I especially came for and loved, disappeared. To be replaced by very narrow small sections. It also feels like there aren’t as many products anymore and shelves look empty. It gave me the « closing down soon » vibes. Sad really…
