The staff were very friendly. There were four in our party and all the food was excellent we all had a different dish. Good atmosphere all the tables were full. The only complaint we thought the larger at over £5 a pint was over the top. Our own local the Euxton Mills a similar set up it is only £4,50, This would not stop us visiting again we would make sure we chose a cheaper drink on principal. We do eat out every Sat.

I don't visit very much because when it's busy there is literally nowhere to park! But the food is always pleasant and the staff really friendly too

I didn't even know this place existed, saw it when visiting a nearby store. They do a lot of baking themselves and I had a Portuguese Tart. It was the best one I have ever had, and I have had plenty. So good I went back in and bought 3 more. My daughter had three other bakery items and found them all to be excellent. I will be coming back to this place every time I am in the area

Best curry I've had in a long time. Will be ordering again without a doubt. Highly recommended, thank you.

Lovely food, staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the live music which started at 8.20pm spoilt the atmosphere for our group of 4 friends, who ended up shouting at each other so we could be heard over the music. The singer was quite good, but we felt it didn’t fit the atmosphere for a restaurant. Live music is fine in a bar but not a restaurant. I wasn’t informed when I booked that there was live music. I would suggest you inform customers at point of booking, or live music starts a little later. We didn’t stay after we finished eating, we would have had a few more drinks but we were all sick of shouting rather than talking.

We got a voucher for a 3 course meal for 2 with processco. When we arrived we were seated quickly, drinks order taken and menu provided. We were told about the extra supplements for 1 starter, 2 of the mains and 1 dessert! Drinks came quickly and we had barely touched them before being offered more. Eventually the order was taken. We ordered all three courses at once. It was very slow but the food was lovely. The goats cheese tart to start was delicious. We both had suppliment mains (steak and duck) but they were really nice and the sticky toffee pudding was out of this world. Somewhere that actually gives you enough toffee sauce! Amazing. We enjoyed it, with drinks (2 diets cokes and 2 alcholic) and the supplements it nearly doubled the cost of the voucher but we enjoyed it.

Which if you are wondering it means Oh Mamma what great value for money! My last review of this place was several years ago and I think it was 5 stars then. It’s not changed for me. We called in on an off chance at around 6pm on a Saturday evening. The place was busy and we didn’t hold much hope. Thankfully the lady front of house, I think she owns it and I remember her from last time we were there many years ago, kindly squeezed us in provided we were done in an hour. Perfect for us as we only wanted a quick bite. We ordered an Etna pizza and Ndjua pasta. I was DES so the mrs had a glass of house red and I stuck on the corporations pop. The food was awesome and service quick and polite full. What we didn’t realise was that we had snuck in on the pizza and pasta offer and the bill came to…………£20! You’d pay more eating at Maccas! Keep up the great work and don’t believe some of the recent reviews that get 1 star because they can’t split the bill for some grey army! But if people choose not to go then that’s fine by me. It’s a great local restaurant that won’t be as busy so we can enjoy it. Recommended.

Really great restaurant. We went in around 7pm and the service was brilliant, have a conversation with the waiter, made us feel very comfortable without being overbearing. Meat was beautifully cooked and the sauces were tasty. Very reasonably priced for such a great experience. left full and planning out next visit!
