Down the road from our house and has to be one of the best chienses in Chorley. Moved around Chorley over the past 4 years and found Hong Hu to be the best.

I always order a lucky box D but change beef to chicken in black bean sauce but was told no as busy, so fuming as I’m a regular customer but not any more, they now have a man on phone taking orders who is so ignorant bring back the two girls that were brilliant, you have now lost a regular customer.

Absolutely disgusting food greasy tasteless ordered special chow mein that had 1 piece of chicken the worst chinese i have ever eaten its got put straight in the bin phoned up to complain the staffs customer service was disgraceful they are more interested in money. AVOID AVOID AVOID if i could give zero stars i would. They'd ideally wanted me to bring the food back to them however it was put in the bin I cannot physically pick out fried rice and noodles from a bin. In response to your reply it's not about wanting free food at all I'm more than in a capable situation to pay for food food that is worth paying for unlike your establishment. After reading more reviews from other customers it's not just myself who feels this way about your service. How can you justify 1 piece of chicken in a special chow mein 🤔 it was dry tasteless and bland the rice wasn't even cooked and it was greasy. Obviously anything deep fried is going to be greasy I'm not that stupid. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was like water again tasteless I have sent you pictures to your what's app of the food. I have a baby who was asleep that is why I was unable to bring the food back!

Nipped in late on a Sunday evening. Credit to the staff they went the extra mile and make us some fresh food. Didn't have anything special but what we had was lovely. Lovely young lady on the counter, pleasant and cheerful. Can't wait to try more from the menu.

Used to be a great place, but I think they have become a victim of their own success - requested gluten free due to allergies & refused service because they were busy! Plenty of other places to go - won't be seeing us again

Absolutely terrible service we ordered at 17.01 for a 19.30 delivery at 19.45 no food and called them tp be told we’ve been really busy and it will be ready in 10 minutes NO sorry I gave you 2.5 hours to get it right shocking service and I would never order from here again plenty of Chinese take aways around your response of 20% of next order is a joke you charge £3 delivery you really need to prioritise people who order in advance you have lost a regular customer people don’t be fobbed off by these people

The food was ordered & ready quickly! The food wasn't what I was expecting. The crispy chilli beef was inedible (hard & chewy), the noodles were very greasy & I didn't like the salt n pepper chicken!! The curry sauce was very thick & pretty tasteless, I didn't enjoy any of the food ordered & most of it just went in the bin. It was too far away to take the food back & I won't be going there again. Very disappointing 😕

Good food. Nice and polite staff. Very quick service (collected my order) for the size of my order (family of 5 + friends). Everyone enjoyed it, no leftovers. Will return in the near future.

Ordered for the very first time tonight and we weren't disappointed, the food arrived on time, food was plentiful and tasted very nice, thank you.

I've been looking forward to trying the food here for a while as what is advertised looked amazing. Unfortunately, what was served was nothing like I was expecting. Although the food was hot, it tasted dry and stale. (Just my meal) my wife and daughter enjoyed theirs although the crispy beef didn't really have beef. Lastly (and maybe petty) it says on the menu, spend £30 or more and get Salt n pepper wings. We didn't get them. Minor thing I know but still worth mentioning. We will go back to try different dishes. Hopefully this was a one off. On another note, staff were very nice and the place was clean.

The best Chinese I've had in a long time, ordered on the telephone and got my order within 15 minutes delivered, was very tasty and good portions sizes worth it's price. Thank you

It was a very expensive place for a Chinese takeaway. Portion sizes were small. They charge you extra for prawn crackers, but don't tell you until you ask for them, and they are not fresh. They also charge you 10p for the carry bag. Would I use them again? No

Ordered two starters & two mains to collect. Price was different, only by 10p, and we thought we had an old menu so didn't challenge it. Collected and menu in-store was the same so unsure why we were charged more? Had to wait longer than expected for our food too. Overall, the food was good. We also got some free veggie spring rolls but on returning home we were missing one which was frustrating. May try again, but will probably try a few other Chinese's before going back.

Picked up a box of mixed salt and pepper box. All I can say is that it was an expensive box of chips! The meat in it, what there was of it was tough. My dogs ate more of it than I did. I only gave 2 stars as the lady serving was polite and courteous..I'll go back to my usual, Yu Hing

Not a great start for this newly renamed business… I have just called to order and was told ‘sorry we are too busy, we won’t be able to make your order’, a food take away business that is open and refusing to take orders.

This Friday (10th Sept 21) me and my family ordered a takeaway, have always gone here but now under new management, quality and standards have dropped dramatically. All members of my family and I have food poisoning from the diabolical food from here, will never go again, lost a loyal customer. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be on the toilet all day.

We love the food from wah do but the person taking the order always causes massive problems for us, always tells us hes never delivered to our postcode and yet every time he says he will do it as a "one off". We tried to order today and he told us he wouldn't deliver it because it's a 9minute drive and he argued with us that he had never delivered here before, yet hes been here 3 times. Pathetic service towards customers who love the food and would order regularly if it werent for the absolute battle we have to endure with the guy taking the orders.

The best Chinese takeaway around! There is nothing else like it, the food is of an exceptional calibre and is never like the ‘usual’ greasy/salty (chippy takeaway). Restaurant quality, takeaway convenience and the proprietor is a real character! Don’t waste your time going anywhere else!
