Convalescing so thought I would come here as a treat and what a treat it was! This café is warm and inviting and the staff are quick, polite and efficient, and genuinely care about their customers. The atmosphere is cosy and it is understandably busy at lunchtime. I ordered liver and bacon both of which were high quality and cooked to perfection. It came with onions, peas and mashed potato and gravy. Although it was a huge portion I could have gone on till I exploded but, as I didn't explode, followed it with a very tasty blackberry and apple crumble and a cup of tea. The whole thing came to £17.50 and was one of the best meals I have had. Long may it last and compliments to the excellent chef

A visitor to Whitstable I asked a couple of locals who both advised me that this is the best cafe in Whitstable & they were spot on! I ordered Liverl & Onion & Mrs had Chilli Concani ? Both superb served by lovely ladies, great price as well!! Try them.

We were looking for a nice breakfast in the area , and fate ( well, the first cafe we went to didn’t take cash!) brought us here and so glad it did! Friendly happy atmosphere, clearly popular with the locals , excellent varied menu with tempting homemade cakes as well. It was one of the most enjoyable breakfasts we have had in years, they really do have it right here… and a big plus for us is when you get thick buttered, still piping hot, toast. We took some of the delicious cake away with us and just wish we lived nearer so we could visit regularly! Highly recommend 👍🏼

Very nice, well cooked, fresh food served in a comfortable place, by very pleasant staff. It was clean and nicely furnished. Good view across the golf course. Highly recommend for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

We visited this weekend as we have wanted to try this place since it opened earlier this year. I wish we went sooner! There’s a great variety to cater for everyone…allergies/vegetarians/kids/spicy or not spicy. We tried the bubble waffle with chicken, Singapore chicken tenders and the kids had the very generous kids meal. The chicken is so tender with great flavour and 90% of their menu is gluten free (I’m coeliac) so I was very happy as I can’t normally have food like this. We will definitely be back. Thank you 😊

What an incredible find. Josh and Dexter were amazing lads made our lunch very pleasant. I asked Dexter for a recommendation and Josh cooked the skate which was the best fish and chips i ever had. Chips is home made, fish was incredibly fresh. I would definitely travel from London just to have it again.

Didn't actually pick this up via TripAdvisor but notice on Google maps after visit to Cathedral. Agree with others this is a lovely cafe with excellent coffee and cake. The cinnamon bun is excellent.

The burgers from Rad are consistently the best I've ever had in my life, whether it be the Camterbury pop up shops or their branch in Whitstable. The move to The Pound will bring a different clientèle because it is not a fast food set-up but the quality was excellent. Bonus: if you dine there, you can get free entry to the museum, but check the opening times to ensure it is open.
