Nice but expensive fish and chips.

Called in 15 mins before the kitchen closed, but we were welcomed and rewarded with a great fish and chips, plus a burger for the good lady (can’t remember what was in it - vegetarian). Busy pub, great atmosphere, staff were top class ! Thanks all 👍🏼

Being our first visit to London, and The White Swan was the perfect place for first-timers. The staff was friendly and provided wonderful suggestions. The food was delicious, and the beer was excellent.

Really nice pub with lots of seating. Variety of ales and beers on tap. The pies are truly amazing. The chips and mushy peas were super good, but the fish lacked flavour for me.

Great food. But for people not used to chlorine in the water..will probably feel the chlorine taste in everything that has water in it😣

Fantastic fish and chips! A great vibe and generally super friendly staff. We have come back 3 weeks in the row. The best fish in chips we have had in 2 years in London! It is a little pricey though.

Great food for sure I had hunters chicken and my friend steak sandwich, shout out to the chef! Quiet Tuesday lunch ,but service was brilliant we got check back which is important too … clean and tidy :) only thing is toilets it’s like walking in to a freezer 🤣

The food was nothing special, surely didn't deserve the 45 p. for 2 main dishes and a beer. The prices in the online menu have to be updated, they are much lower than the on site menu. Beers and soft drinks have no prices in the menu. The service was good and the place was warm and clean.

We loved the food here, the pint was quite good also. My Venison pie was amazing, she loved her fish and chips.

We came at 1 pm on Sunday, the place wasn't busy. Ordered some starters and mains. Had to wait 1,5 for the mains. Tables who came after us got their mains before us. The waiters didn't realize when we were done with starters - they didn't come up to us to ask if we're done, just ignored us. Never apologized for the delay. We paid £8 for a "bread basket" that had 3 thin slices of good-looking grey bread and a bit of butter. The food tasted OK, but the waiters' attitude and lack of customer service skills is appalling.

Great place for food and drink post tube ride (located as you come out of the underground) Table and bar ordering (with phone) Really simple menu (in a positive way) but what caught our eye were the homemade pies which were steak. (Also have pie of the day but went for the steak). Tender and full to the brim accompanied with mash, very filling and delicious meal for the start of the day. Staff were friendly and polite, the building was clean and full of historic london signs and photos. Highly recommend if you’re hungry and just come off the tube!

We walked to the White Swan from our hotel and are happy we did. Quite lively. Good selection of local beer and a very good menu. We had the fish and chips and venison and red wine gravy pie.

House red wine dreadful. McMullens beer isn't good at best of times! Expensive. Toilets could hardly be better hidden - no light in area, sign unreadable - woman came into gents!!! Noisy, TV on all the time.

Pub with a very pleasant atmosphere, warm welcome, good music, varied choice of drinks, we went there on a Saturday evening it was great for our last evening in London. I recommend a lot because we had a good time

Great place for a few drinks and a bite to eat. Went there with a colleague and friend a week ago and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The ales were abundant and plentiful. I ordered a plate of halloumi chips, delicious. Really nice location too, very close to Pimlico train station.

As an American who travels to London multiple times a year (not bragging, setting the scene), I have had a LOT of fish and chips. Mainly because I'm hunting for something that actually lives up to the hype. Well, look no further. Whether you are new to London or not, these are NOT your British uncle's traditionally bland F&C's. These are the ones you have been looking for. They will change your life. They will not disappoint. I couldn't tell you what the rest of the menu is like, but honestly, who cares. You are here for the Fish and Chips. You can thank me later.

Went in for lunch. Blade of beef pie was great, lots of flavour the other two poes were bland. Salmon was ok but needed less oil.

Stumbled upon this place walking home from a tour on our trip to London. It was our favorite meal of our entire honeymoon!! We got the witch’s brew to drink, sausages, chicken tenders and chicken pot pie. Maybe it’s because we’re American but man I’ll remember the pot pie forever :)

Hice una reserva de última hora (bueno, para una hora después) un viernes por la noche. Estábamos en nuestro hotel a 5 minutos y no teníamos planes de cena, así que encontré este lugar e hice una reserva. Entramos y vinimos al pub. No había nadie en la puerta, lo que parecía ser la norma en otros lugares. Nos sentamos unos minutos y asumimos que nadie iba a venir a nosotros, así que fui al bar y dije que tenía reservas para la cena. Parecía inesperado y la joven acudió a quien supondría que es el gerente del bar y preguntó por ello. Definitivamente no nos esperaban. Terminé pidiendo en el bar para nosotros y subimos (mucho menos ruidoso) y encontramos una mesa. A partir de este momento, todo fue genial. Comí el pollo Hunters (pollo, salsa barbacoa, tocino y queso) con papas fritas. Mi compañero tenía tiras de pollo y papas fritas. La comida salió rápido y como ya pagamos, comimos y salimos de allí. Fue una buena parada, algo desorganizada, pero todo salió bien. La comida era buena y era un lugar animado seguro.

Muy bonito pub. Buena selección de ales bien cuidados. Pero he estado allí varias veces por la noche y me parece que tocan la música demasiado fuerte, lo que dificulta tener una conversación con tus amigos... tal vez me estoy haciendo viejo.

We came to get some supper. Maybe this is how it always is or maybe it was just the day we were there but it was extremely loud in there. It felt like everyone was trying to talk louder than the person next to them. We ended up sitting upstairs so it was a bit quieter. The place was nice and the food was good.

Four of us had lunch here on a weekday. Service and atmosphere all fine. Food was incredibly disappointing. There a lots of good reviews on here, so we perhaps got them on an off day; I hope the owner will sit down to review the bangers and mash, which appeared to have motor oil as gravy, and the floppiest veg I've ever come across.

Visited for a drink only on a Tuesday evening so can't comment on food. Music was pretty dreadful and pointlessly loud (Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick etc really doesn't need to be rammed into my ears). My mate had to send his pint of ale back as it was off and undrinkable and my pint was slightly on the turn too. Wouldn't return

Previously I had the very special fish and chips and loved it. I will be coming back for that again. Today i tried a chicken burger, but i couldn't work out how you are supposed to eat it, It's so tall you can't possibly get it into you mouth. I ended up taking it apart and eating with knife and fork. The taste wasn't anything special, disappointing, messy and difficult to eat and cost £17.

Since this was Sunday dinner, you order at bar and delivered to table. Highly recommend the meat pies and pulled ales, need to come back for fish and chips. Demiglace on both pies was spot on. Vanilla custard just needed a little more bean and it would be perfect. Likewise, don't expect an American apple pie, this is more like quince but didn't have any nutmeg or cinnamon. Several television sfor sports but music mainly played in the restaurant and can be quite loud.

I walked there from TATE BRITAN. First UK PUB First time trying FISH & CHIPS. It is a style where you order food and drinks at the counter each time. The food is also delicious. The store staff are also friendly and great And the BGM music is also great! ! ! My ideal London was here. I want to go again!

It happens in life that you find yourself in London for your 50th birthday and come across a pub after several hours spent visiting the city. As an American tourist staying in the Pimlico area of London, I wanted a neighborhood pub experience. Most of all, I wanted great fish and chips! I got Both. I had read reviews praising the fish and chips and they were spot on!

Chicken in the hunter chicken was dry, and chicken tikka masala was a disaster: almonds on top to hide the fact it wasn’t good, the sauce was more of a paste than a sauce and flavourless. Also as a picky eater, the mango chutney was touching half the dish, completely putting me off

Good pub, would give it 4 or 5, but they choose to play random football on full blast and say they can't turn it down as 2 people have booked a table to watch it apparently. What a load of cobblers. Bad customer service. Thanks for the headache.

Went here after work for a few pints to watch the euros and it is always a great pub, not sure who the young lady that served us was called on the bar but she was great!

Great for live sport with all the screens and very helpful and friendly staff.

Good food and an excellent range of beers. We ate upstairs and had excellent service to the table via an app. Football (Euro 24) was on downstairs which made it a bit noisy.

First time in London and the first time eating fish and chips in London. The fish was good and loved the crunchy fries. It's a pub so the music is loud. They have an upstairs that's not as noisy, but music is loud. The service was good. I had to go down to the bar to place an order, but they delivered it upstairs for you.

Reservamos el almuerzo del domingo para dos. El lugar estaba vacío, tal vez 6 - 10 otros clientes, así que no hay razón para una experiencia tan pobre. Pedí pan y cebo blanco, pollo asado y un plato principal de verduras. TODOS los platos llegaron a la mesa juntos! Comenté que no habíamos esperado tener todo a la vez (servidor era la misma persona que tomó el pedido y claramente sabía que era una comida para dos) respondió "Lo entiendo, puedo tomar la red de nuevo y mantenerlos calientes si quieres". ¿Quién estaría feliz de haber pagado por la comida, sabiendo que se mantiene caliente mientras comes entrantes? Nunca devuelvo la comida una vez que está en la mesa (¡problemas de confianza!) así que decliné esto. Resultó que 'caliente' era optimista, mientras que el cebo blanco era delicioso y caliente toda la comida en el plato de pollo asado era tibia en el mejor de los casos, me comí tal vez la mitad del pollo como tenía hambre, calificaría la calidad de la comida como pobre en todo este plato. La verdura principal también era tibia aunque sabrosa. El mismo servidor volvió a preguntar 'cómo estaba la comida' y muy amablemente dije que el asado era promedio en el mejor de los casos y la comida apenas estaba caliente, felicitamos el cebo blanco y el sabor del plato de verduras. Se disculpó y se fue. Más tarde, mientras despejaba la mesa, se disculpó nuevamente y dijo que había actualizado al Gerente. Aquí es donde me siento más agraviado... nos quedamos unos 15 minutos más terminando nuestras bebidas y, aunque el pub permaneció casi vacío, el gerente no pudo venir y abordar estos problemas. Nos fuimos, no volveremos...

Pasé a almorzar después de visitar la Tate y encontré un muy buen pub de hecho. Sándwiches de tamaño decente, una hermosa ensalada crujiente recién hecha que fácilmente cubría mis cinco al día. Pedí una ensalada de acompañamiento para mi amiga pero cuando dijo que preferiría papas fritas manager lo cambió sin problemas. El buen McMullen amargo, también. Espacioso y limpio, pantalla jugando al tenis, pero estaba silenciado, así que no se inmiscuyó en la conversación. Estoy de vuelta en el Tate en julio, así que sé dónde será el almuerzo para probar algunas de las otras ofertas en el menú.

This is a good pub and the beer is decent, a good place to come to with some friends for a drink. The staff are friendly and attentive. Their food is the weak spot, I had the pie taster, which was ropey with dried out mash potato and pie pastry that was equally dry. Overall a good boozer with average pub grub.

Food was amazing, mum had ham egg and chips which she loved, I had the fish and chips I can honestly say it was the best I've had in long time. Servers were lovely also.

Ordered two small plates - and was still waiting for it after 30 mins. Staff were offhand and pub was quiet - blamed single orders for the delay!

As an American, I HAD to try the fish and chips and I was ABSOLUTELY IMPRESSED! I don't generally enjoy fried fish, so I was already a bit skeptical of the dish, but White Swan made me understand what all the fuss is about! Great food, amazing service, lively atmosphere and friendly patrons make this a must visit!

Came in with a group of friends just to stop by for a drink and ended up having the best time! The band was incredible, the cocktails were super yummy, and the food was the best (I recommend the nachos). Livia makes the best espresso martinis and the bar staff were very friendly. 10/10 would come back again :)

I had a fantastic experience at The White Swan in Pimlico. The atmosphere was lively and cozy, ideal for a relaxing evening. The burger and fries I ordered were delicious—juicy and perfectly cooked. The pints we had were refreshing and complemented the meal well. Our server, Olivia was also very nice and provided excellent service throughout our visit, making us feel welcomed and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a great pub in Pimlico, The White Swan is definitely worth a visit!

Firstly, Website lists a kid menu, so assumed it was kid friendly, it is not. When we popped in was told they don’t have a kids menu at all, nothing really suitable for kids at all except fries on the menu. I tried to order via the app that you need to download to order from the table, but the app doesn’t list everything that they sell. Juices not all listed, cordials missing, certain draught missing, etc. Food came quickly, once we had managed to place an order at the bar, but my wife’s CBLT sandwich (aka Club any other part of the world) was tough as shoe leather (think the cook used a steak weight to cook quickly). She ended up just pulling it out and eating the rest. Went to order a desert, no kids ice cream even through the menu online and app both said they sold it, and the toffee cheesecake was in fact passion fruit. In short, could be a nice pub but seems poorly run. There seems to be mismanagement at this bar as the menu, app and website are not aligned, which makes for a frustrating experience and the confusion around the kids menu is just not acceptable.

Fun place, great service, and vety tasty food! We joined in for their Monday trivia night. When they found out we were visiting from Canada they added a few Canadian trivia questions.
