Been in there a few times. Good pub. Great landlady and great landlord. Food on a sunday is second to none. Best night is Thursday for bingo. Also watched many sky sports games in there.

Called in today with our grandchildren as opening of carvery. Outside gives the wrong impression, lovely old fashioned pub with open fires. Large room at the back with Donna serving carvery. £5.50 for adults and £3.00 for children which was way too cheap for the excellent food. Choice of beef, pork or gammon with good selection of fresh home cooked veg. Choice of mash, cabbage, carrots, peas, cauliflower cheese, stuffing, Yorkshire puds, stuffing, crackling and roasters all home made. We were too full for desert but they looked great. Gorgeous dinner, not worth cooking at home for price and quality. Congratulations Donna and all of your staff, we were all really impressed. Staff and locals all really friendly, great afternoon.

Lovely pub with great choice of drinks, some bostin' beers here. Great homemade cobs and sausage rolls too. Nice beer garden. A proper pub for proper people.😁

It didn't give me an option to put 0, Staff was rude saw us standing waiting didn't acknowledge us, waited and waited she went cleared tables still leaving us standing waiting to be served, then came back behind the bar serving others so we walked out, will not ever be returning anytime soon.

Not the review I wanted to put. I was aiming to attend for lunch today on my day off. With my daughter and mom. I walked in at 2pm and sat on the table waiting for my mom to ask for a high chair for my daughter. I waited 15/20 mins or more for a high chair. As a member of staff said "it's outside". I know they've only got one high chair, which I fully understand as there is limited space. Due to this me and my mom didn't order food just in case the high chair was in use by someone else. So, when I finally received the high chair. I went to order food to be told "the kitchen is now closed" and I said when did it close? And the lady said "just now" and I said well I've been waiting for this high chair now for at least 20 mins and I didn't want to order food in case someone was using it outside? The staff unfortunately didn't care that I was waiting for so long so then I couldn't have any food? I've been coming to the tea rooms for a long time and I love their afternoon tea. But unfortunately the service I received today was horrible. The last thing I wanted to do is write this review. But non of the staff apologised.
