Good service. Fresh food. Kind workers. Food served nicely. Quickly given a table. Wasn't packed nor chaotic. Very conveniently located.

The worst burger i have ever eaten. I took one bite and left the rest. i informed staff of my dissatisfaction. After paying the bill i unwittingly realised i paid an additional 10% service charge. I wont be going back...

Best shawarma in the UK hands down. Laffa shawarma. Chips and soft drink. Ticks all of the boxes. Made fresh. You get to choose your salads and it's generous portions Soups are good. Burger is massive. Very good options and good quality

I really love that place! Its open till late, the atmosphere is brilliant! The food is tasty cant recommend anything special! Its better to go is smaller groups of 4.

ive heard a lot about this restaurant, i must say it really is good. the food as well as the service.Our waitress was friendly and helpful. and the chef called us to the salad bar and prepared our meals to our requests. If i did have to say something the place is a bit small. I would recommend you book a table. I cant wait to go back.

A summer's evening, a shwarma and an Israeli beer what more could you ask for? The White House Express is an eat and go meat and salad restaurant in the heart of Kosher Golders Green serving top quality food and drink. No fancy pretence, efficient service and reasonable value for money while most of the rest of the world passes in front of you. A great spot for people watching and socialising. A1 recommended!

Went for dinner about 8 p.m. one midweek evening in July. This small restaurant was very crowded and noisy and we were lucky to get a table for 4 without a prior reservation. The menu was varied, the waiters friendly but service was slow and the place was very noisy. The honey chicken was dry, the chicken steak was fine and the children had "kids nuggets" which were very good. So was the bean soup. Don't bother to make a prior table reservation as there are also other restuarants to choose from in close proximity.

On arrival we were given the full menu. Ask for the Express menu - items less than half the price.Service was ok, but frustratingly our food arrived over space of 20 mins, even random things like chips arrived 15 mins before the shawarma they were supposed to be served with.Food and prices ok (on Express menu) but all in all an average experience.

This is a small restaurant catering primarily to take away business. There are only a few tables. When we arrived around 5:30pm for dinner, there was only one table for 2 available. The other tables were either occupied or reserved.My wife had the grilled chicken breast dinner which came with Israeli salad and another side. The chicken was very tasty and the portions were large. I had the chicken shawarma which was very dry. Prices are very reasonable.

We came to the place to eat a late lunch. We ordered a mix of meat with mash potatoe and french fries. The food was ok. thats the only nice thing I can say about the place.The rest was horrible. Prices are way over average for that kind of food.Service was horrible. We sat down, ordered one of the expensive dishes on the menu, and were interupted plenty of times by the staff that only waited for us to leave so they can sit the next custemer at the table. Maybe their "Express" treatment means that these are actually express seats?Every time we didn't eat from a dish they asked if we are finished and wiped the table. Every hint to make us just leave. We even got upset faces from the waitress who probably started calculating the tips that she was "loosing" from other potentail customers.Overall, a very upseting and expensive experience, mediocre food. I can't find a good reason to ever go there again.

Contrary to the name of the restaurant the service is anything but express.After waiting almost 20 minutes to place our order I had to ask for someone to come to our table - the staff were none too pleased as they were enjoying talking to each other and totally ignoring customers. When the waitress did eventually come to take our order her attitude was of total disregard for us.Having eventually placed our order we had to wait almost 30 minutes for the meals to arrive - so much so my husband was about to walk out. The restaurant was not very busy and a burger and schwarma really do not take half an hour to prepare.The burger was alright but overloaded with onions and lettuce. The schwarma was actually quite tasty but the chips were absolutely utterly tasteless.We will not be going there again and I would advise anyone who does go they must not be in a hurry and allow an hour just to place the order and for it to be served.

I have been here on a number of occasions and enjoy the food and experience every time.There is an extensive selection of food available on the menu and it is very authentic in flavour.The service is always great and friendly.If you are looking for a good Kosher restaurant, this is the place to come!

Good range of foods on menu. Good service. Food served quickly. Main disadvantage is the seating is very limited and cramped. Food is tasty and portions are decent.

I enjoyed a delicious "salt beef plate". Prices are reasonable. Can get fast food or real meals; eat at tables or counter (or take out). This is a kosher restaurant with a comfortable vibe whether you're kosher or not.

This was the first time at the White House Express and was pleasantly surprised with the choice of menu. It was good to be able to choose the salad individually so you get what you want rather than what 'they' want to give you.

auf der golders green road sehr gut besuchtes restaurant, das bei allen altersgruppen beliebt ist. ausgezeichnete hummus als starter, grosse portionen, daher gut (ein-)teilen. auf der terrasse spürt man den sympathischen quartiergeist.

This is a regular haunt for us for a quick, tasty family meal out.Yes it's true - the place is noisy, cramped, too hot, too cold blah blah. But it's casual kosher, Israeli dining and you shouldn't expect a fine dining experience.But what you do get is this....a great choice of totally delicious food, generous portions and reasonable prices.Big shout out for the meatballs and any of the chicken dishes - totally yum - and a great array of accompaniments.I have never had anything but delightful service. The waitresses are chatty, attentive and warm. And I know why. It's partly because we are polite and friendly to them. By contrast most of the clientele are bloody rude. It makes me cringe .Do go and give it a try. Know what to expect and be polite to the lovely waiting staff!

our religious friend begged us to go to a kosher restaurant for a changeso we came here.he ordered chicken wings, hummus with musrooms, a hamburger and chocolate pudding and loved it all.i tried bangers and mash (i go with local food mind you) and the bangers were the simplest sausages while the mashed potatoes and the baked beans were good.i also ordered sticky toffee pudding and liked ita third friend went for chicken soup with noodles and kneidelach (mazzo balls)if you don't bother with kosher or miss Israeli flavours there is no reason to dine here

I am a regular visitor to the White House in Golders Green, London to pick up a take away, usually pre-ordered. On this occasion, I stopped by and noticed that the restaurant was being managed by a someone I did not recognise, who appeared to be the son of the owner. I was first ignored, then interrupted what appeared to be an hilarious conversation between the staff, who then referred me to the chef behind the counter, who had not prepared anything for me. After waiting some 12-15 minutes, I finally received a box of shredded chicken, without the usual salads and accompaniments. On querying this, the chef snatched the box out of my hand, threw it in a corner and pointed me to the Manager. On speaking to him, he burst out laughing and found the whole thing amusing. When I reapproached the chef, to try and explain what I wanted, he turned his back on me, spoke to one of the waitresses, who looked across at me, and disappeared into a back room. It's a shame really, because I like the White House, and respect the owner, who has spent many years building up a popular business. I shall choose my moment and return but only to tell the proprietor of my recent experience. What is clear, is that since a major competitor shut up shop further down the road, the attitude of the White House has changed towards its regular clientele. I now buy my twice weekly take-aways from Sami's, which I shall review under separate cover.
