Really welcoming staff, dog friendly and the food was great in particular the salmon and prawn curry.

Great village pub. We went without a booking and got a table straight away despite it appearing quite busy for Thursday night curry night. Limited menu due to curry night but we ordered battered fish and chips. Massive piece of fish with the best crispiest batter ever, really was very well cooked and meal very filling (no room for dessert🥲) Good choice of beers on tap, very polite and friendly staff. Large beer garden. Would definitely go back if in the area.

The pizza at the pub event for bank holiday weekend sounded great so off we all popped. It started at 5pm. At 5.25pm they had run out of pizza dough. Luckily some of us had ordered pizza but we then waited until 7.30 to get them. Kitchen was closed but they started selling chips to placate customers who had turned up only to find there was no food - £4 for chips in a paper coffee cup didn't placate anyone though! Event was a total shambles and I can't see why I would be tempted to return.

Pleasant pub in the heart of a pretty village

The absolute least you can do as a business is make sure your opening hours are correct on your website and on Google, especially when you are in a remote area. It’s pretty basic stuff. We walked 45 mins only to find that both were incorrect and the pub was closed. Two other families turned up as well to a closed door. Met a lovely guy from the pub who told us it was closed, said “we’ll look into that” and then walked off without an apology. Apparently the pub is nice when you actually get in, but who knows. I won’t be spending money or more time trying to find out. Ridiculous.

We went for lunch and it’s a very traditional pub inside with low ceilings and beams with a seating area outside. Parking outside or there’s a small car park just opposite. Service was quick and we had not booked for lunch. The menu choice looked good and plenty of choices for vegetarians as well. The portion size was good but there was far too much salt on the fries. The burgers were alright and appreciate its all locally sourced product but it was not that good. We did complain about the salt overload but to be honest might have just not bothered as it was just brushed away. A very popular pub and we may just have eaten there on an off day but overall not that special when it came to the burgers and fries.

Here recently for a very enjoyable NYE dinner. A warm welcome, nice menu, great service and fantastic food, all in a beautiful old and characterful building. Only one small negative - the less than tasteful background music!

I went there with most of the village ladies from Debach for a Christmas dinner - I had the turkey and Christmas pudding and they were both delicious! The americano was very good, but I stupidly forgot to pay for it before leaving (that's the greatest red wine for me) - at least, the organiser paid, so I'll be owing her. I still feel stupid though, but overall, I had a wonderful evening and will definitely go there again

Great food at a sensible price, we will be back. No music which I like, the missus doesn't though. Could do with changing the lights over the tables, felt like an intense interview.

Excellent pub nestled in Easton. Tapas on Tuesdays was great, and then back to a very good regular menu thereafter. Good local ale on cask. And a strong range of draught beers too. Being dog friendly was a real bonus. Well worth a visit.

Old Suffolk pub. Modern food but with old pub character and some great beer - Suffolk Blonde Lager is wonderful and goes so well with the smoked pork belly!

Surprisingly quality food! Very interesting fusion of traditional English food with gentle touch of Asian food. Very original starters and excellent mix of tastes and spices.

A lovely warm welcome and imaginative menu. The food exceeded all expectations. Service efficient yet relaxed. What more could you ask for? I don’t normally take pictures of my food but in this case couldn’t help myself. 🤭

White horse is a really nice venue, there is parking outside in front of the pub, the inside is really traditional, it has low ceilings, lots of space, and a great garden area, the toilets here are always spotless. The food is amazing here, it’s often locally sourced, it always comes out hot and tastes really nice, you pay a little more than some other places but it is worth it. There is a good selection of drinks here, lots of local beers. The staff here are really friendly, and provide a really good service. I would highly recommend coming here.

Being able to easily walk to the White Horse from home has meant we can happily and eagerly call the White Horse Easton “our local”. We have been going regularly since settling in Hacheston, the next village. The excellent food, quality selection of Earl Soham beers, and the friendly atmosphere have endeared us to this lovely pub an restaurant. Now, whenever we have family, friends staying with us, our first choice is the White Horse by far.

Came here twice for food over the april/may bank holiday weekend as we were camping at easton farm Park. Both times were delicious. The beef Sunday roast is a must!

Classy country pub with very good food and drink choice not too costly. Lovely surroundings of conservation village. Watch the car park at the back, can be awkward to manoeuvre but there's a village car park opposite. Update 2022... taken over by a chain and lost a lot of atmosphere and personal service. Off our list.

Lived in the area for nearly 20 years and hadn't visited this beautiful old pub before - but we will definitely be back! Really friendly staff, lovely, cosy interior, and an excellent menu, including a separate tapas menu. We tried the tapas and it was delicious (shout out to the twice cooked pork belly). To top it all off - dog friendly!

My wife and I enjoyed a very nice lunch at The White Horse a couple of Fridays ago. We had the remainder of a voucher to use following a previous visit back in August. We shared three lovely tapas dishes to start – chicken strips, king prawns and anchovy toasts – which were just the right size. I ordered fish and chips for main, while my wife went for the sausages and mash. We had no complaints about the food, but service was a little slow on this occasion, especially the wait between receiving our drinks and ordering our food. We didn’t mind too much though as we weren’t in a rush, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier.

We went to 'Tapas Tuesday'. We have lived in Spain previously, and these were the very best we have tasted, fantastic selection of meat and vegetarian, so tasty and very well priced, thank you and well done! Service was excellent, bubbly and happy, fun hostess - made our visit. So good to see such happiness!

Great pub but, put off by young children sat a bar playing with toys. No chance to get to order drinks and restricting access and view of drinks on offer.

Phoned to make a booking prior to going. Asked what was on the menu but when we arrived they had told us the evening menu. The lunch menu was limited. Had the sausage and mash which was luke warm with quite hard peas, other people in my party had similarly poor food. The rather scruffy waiter was not interested

It's a really nice pub. Varied menu. Although portion control is consistent, as our starter were two decent sizes, the bahji starter was quite small, as was the pork belly. The food, however was tasty. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The surrounding gardens are really nice. Worth a visit

We had a lovely evening meal here on a recent Saturday. Lots of excellent veggie/ pescatarian options, and meat dishes were great too. Beers well kept, and gin good too. Staff made us feel really welcome and did everything to ensure we had a nice evening.

Nice pub run by local restauranteur. Comfortable interior, smartly decorated without being over done. Dog walkers drinking beer and those dressed for Sunday-lunch-out all fit in. Food ordered: nibbles- battered gherkin with American mustard; sweet (mango?) ‘Kind of’ chutney and a gently spiced veg dip with popadoms and flat bread. Mains- roast pork with all the trimmings and roast chicken with all the trimmings. Nibbles interesting and flavoursome. Gherkin dish was inventive. Mains were very generous on the veg, which was well presented and nicely cooked. Pork serving was decent. Chicken serving was a solo small/medium breast. Victoria bitter and ghostship were well kept. Prices: £16-19 for one main.

Had the most delicious Sunday roast here. What a beautiful, quintessentially English country pub. We are a house of foodies. This is now firmly in our list of favourites.

In love with this place. Such a wonderful experience every time; the staff are really friendly, the food is incredible and the building and gardens are gorgeous. A hidden gem tucked away in Easton.

We haven't been to the White Horse in a while and what a surprise. A good surprise! The outside area has been transformed into a stunning dining and drinking area, tables spread across several levels and well tended flower borders around them. As it gets dark, subtle lighting comes on to further enhance the atmosphere. The food was superb and the four of us were delighted with our choices. Sea food paella with a fillet of hake on top, duo of partridge on a butternut squash palenta were two of them. All deserving of being served up on a 'Masterchef' final. The puds were equally as delicious and every member of staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. All in all a great evening out!

Went last night and thought it was superb. There are some classic pub options but we all had the more restaurant-style choices - I had tuna carpaccio, guinea fowl, and limoncello mousse. All great but the limocello. mouse was something special. I loved it!

Great food, lovely decor, and they have some decent beer too. Everyone very impressed I picked this place for lunch, except those who realise I just found it online based on the rating.
