Place is closed and may be now known as VIBE which is also closed and sits alongside a hotel....We walked around in circles, spoke several times with a lady (possibly a cleaner) and she had not heard of this place and told us the Vibe was closed. Im writing this in case anyone dose attempt to find this restaurant and sorry if it is still open but you need better signage........

Read great reviews for this retaurant on a couple of different sites. From the outside in the day time, it doesn't look impressive at all. Booked a table for five of us after a few days booked in Bournemouth. If you are considering eating out in Bournemouth, EAT HERE!!! Greeted warmly at the door. The waiter/manager (I'm guessing) was attentive but not a pain. The wine we had chosen wasn't available and the suggested bottle was divine. Atmosphere was lovely - shame there weren't some more people, but didn't take away the quality of service and the meal. Loved it and if we ever visit Bournemouth again - we will definitely book it. 5 Stars!!

We were a little dubious about this restaurant having driven past earlier in the day but as another reviewer has said, “never judge a book by its cover”! We had a lovely meal. We all had pizza and a couple of sides to share. The pizzas were freshly made with a wide variety of toppings and plentiful. The garlic mushroom side dish was a big hit. We recommend and will return. Thank you.

I think this is possibly the most underrated place I’ve been too. I’ve been here maybe 10 times in 3 weeks working away and every nights food was fantastic. For someone who eats out a lot for work. I can stay once I found this place, I didn’t go anywhere else. The staff are fantastic. The food is fantastic, the music is fantastic. I say no more. Not one of the meals was bad in anyway

Well cooked italian food. Calamari starter very good and Pollo fiorentina and diavolo pizza was delicious. Attentive service. Just a shame we live so far away or would go back.

We were only in Bournemouth for 2 nights and decided to book White Fox based on the TripAdvisor reviews for our second night - we were not disappointed!!! It was very quiet the night we booked (it is October & during co-vid so not surprised) but there was still a wonderful atmosphere and the host was so friendly & attentive. The food was by the far the best we had eaten in a while and we were shocked by the reasonable prices considering the high quality food! Also it wasn't tiny portions which we were relieved about! I had pasta and my partner had pizza, both cooked to perfection 👌 We normally just leave after mains but we stayed and had dessert (ice-cream) because we liked it there so much. I would definitely recommend to anyone!! If you're in the mood for Italian, this place should be your number one choice!!!

We stumbled upon this place as it was close to our hotel. We had an amazing meal, superb food, service and wine. It’s not what you’d expect on first impressions, but I cannot fault this place. Eat here. Do it. Enjoy.

I visited this restaurant with my husband and parents , after reading the good reviews we were really looking forward to our meal . Our starters took over 45 minutes to come out , they were ok but just took to long . The main issue was our main dishes - my husband ordered a calzone and got a pizza ! I ordered a medium fillet steak and got a VERY well done rump steak , after questioning both my husband’s and mine I was told to just “try them “ and also tried telling me mine was a fillet !when I said no thank you I would rather have what I ordered the waitress panicked and took about 10 minutes to then come and tell me that they had run out of fillet steak , the kitchen had closed but they would cook me something else. It would have made sense to tell me this at the beginning, not try and hope I wouldn’t notice what steak I had . Overall the service let this place down , the pizza’s and pastas looked nice but don’t go for a steak !

Firstly, hats off to the solo waitress who seemed to be doing everything! This display of poor service is no reflection on her. Having pre booked and arrived slightly early, we tried to make things easy. We were not unexpected customers. In these times of covid, hygiene is paramount. We were shown to a table by a greasy haired man who looked like he lived in a hedge, and the recently vacated table was given a wipe with a damp cloth. No anti bac spray, detergent, nothing. Waited a long time to order (we'd chosen food by the time the drink order was taken.) Ordered everything, it took 15 mins to get a drink, finished those, ordered more, waited and waited, until after an hour our starters appeared. Whitebait OK, King prawns decidedly meagre portion, no side plate, no finger bowl and a distinct lack of care for presentation. At this point, the hedge dweller without any "excuse me", leant straight over me, arm pit in face and started adjusting the lights. At this point we decided to leave. The waitress was very understanding and deserves better, but the rest of the staff and management need to seriously up their game. We didn't pay, the management made no effort to pursue us or apologise. Very poor.

Visitó Ballagio durante el período de tiempo de The Twixmas. Incluso a las 6 pm estaba ocupado con un gran ambiente. El personal fue amable durante toda nuestra comida. Revisando si todo estaba bien. La comida estaba bien para los platos principales de pizza y pasta. Los entrantes (particularmente los calamares) no eran tan buenos. Me sentí como productos congelados y no cocinado bien. Lo volvería a visitar.

Good food, good atmosphere, and fabulous staff. What a find ! We cannot fault this lovely restaurant the food really is exceptional, I doubt that you would get better in Italy ! Our waiter and waitress were smiley friendly and nothing was too much trouble . We loved it so much we went back the next day to eat here . We highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed. Great value as well!! Pauline and Alison

Phoned up for collection at 21:10 (they close at 22:00), so I didn't need to sit in, I just needed to collect my food and go. Alas they informed me that the kitchen was closed already. It would of only taken them 10 minutes to do our order. They need to specify on their info that they don't accept orders after a certain time. I could understand if I was phoning them after 21:30 as they obviously need time to clean things down before they leave.

We've been coming to Da Mario's for years now, always enjoyed it and been using Uber Eats to order to home for a few months now, and again, never a problem. Until our order on 27th November where my partner ordered a Vegetarian for myself and a Ciao for herself (which she always gets) - the description on both Uber and their website advises "chicken, mushroom and sweetcorn" ... nothing else. My partner is allergic to onions, and has had this pizza many times with no problem. However on this occasion after ordering and being notified our Pizza would be with us in 45minutes. We didn't receive it for just under 2 hours and when we finally did, my partners pizza was covered in onions. We called Da Mario's who advised us that we would need to speak to Uber eats who are "24/7" as the order was placed through them, even though it was Da Mario's who' messed the order up, and acknowledged that they made this mistake over the phone. We were unable to get through to Uber eats customer service for several days and they've eventually responded to a complaint raised by email to advise they won't be giving a refund. So to highlight this, we've paid nearly £30 for a couple of cold pizzas that had gone nearly soggy due to how long they took to get to us, one of which was made completely wrong by the restaurant and my partner couldn't eat and we're out of pocket.... Not happy. I'd like to think the restaurant would acknowledge this and offer some form of compensation, even it was to come in for a free pizza, but I'm never confident with places taking ownership these days of situations like this. Shame after being regular customers for nearly 5 years. 02/02/2025 - Update. Since the above happened on 27/11/24, more than 2 months ago. And nearly 2 months since I reviewed, I still haven't had a reply or even acknowledgment from Di Mario's owners/staff regarding our experience and the mistake their staff made that left us out of pocket. But it's near comical they immediately responded to another customer today to defend their cash only policy, seems they pick and choose to ignore genuine negative experiences and reviews, and only respond to ones that are easy to answer. Just in case the owners do see this, not that it'll make much of a difference to your business, but you've lost our custom which we've been giving you for years now. I hope you take ownership moving forward of your mistakes and poor customer service, otherwise you'll run the risk of losing more and more customers down the line.
