We came here as a reward for doing a long stretch of the Bure Valley Path walk. The staff here are lovely – cheerful, helpful and very friendly. The tea is good and strong, and the lemon drizzle scones have to be tasted to be believed. And you can watch the fabulous trains come and go as you eat and drink. Highly recommended.

Lovely place run by two absolutely delightful ladies. The scones were amongst the best I've had in my life and the cakes were perfect and absolutely enormous!

Lovely little cafe to grab a quick lunch or snack between trains on the Bure Valley Railway. I had cream tea with a fruit scone and my partner had a cheese scone that came with cream cheese and onion chutney. Both were amazing. The cafe also had a good selection of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and hot and cold drinks. The two ladies who were working when we visited were really friendly and so helpful and ensured our mini schnauzer wasn’t left out and gave her a little dog treat.

Cafe for the Bure Valley railway, works well for a bite to eat between return trains or prior to your trip, also accessible as just the cafe. Good range of sandwiches, cakes and hot food. Nice cold and hot drink selection. Indoor seating

What an amazing find. A lovely hidden gem of an olde worlde pub tucked away in a beautiful secluded village. The food was delicious and the portions humongous. The pies were family sized, home made and impossible to eat all of it. Everything was served fresh, hot and by really helpful and accommodating staff. If I could give 8 stars, I would. The ales were good and the atmosphere very inviting. I booked a for a party of six, 1 in a wheelchair and two dogs. Everyone enjoyed the experience immensely. 👌
