Had a market stall outside the pub today & I just wanted to say the landlady was fantastic! If she looks after customers the way she looked after us I can imagine it's a cracking place to socialise in. Thank you!

Lovely homely feel to the place , served by Mark I believe , very friendly and certainly knew his ale .. excellent pint , only let down for me was a bit busy in the small back room . But I guess better to be busy than quiet . Great job

But there is a great atmosphere from the chatter and laughter of the friendly locals who all say hello; lots of quirky little signs to look at; spot on, attentive, service and amazing food. The Tuscan salmon pasta was beautiful.
