We visited Saturday morning for breakfast. They young man who served us got the whole meals wrong it took at least 10 minutes to rectify. The breakfasts arrived and the bacon was so burnt when you tried to cut it, it turned into powder form!!! We complained twice before we got new bacon but the woman who was the team leader was rude, unprofessional and tbh unkept!!!! The only decent sever was a big guy with facial piercing he was very helpful. We will not be visiting again!!

Scammed my money. Accidentally ordered 2 portion and asked if I can cancel 1 and get a refund. They told me yes, and even said that they’ve already started the refund process. But to this day, a month later, I’m still waiting for this refund. Been in contact with customer service who says they’ve been trying to contact this specific Wetherspoon to no response, and now even customer service is flat out ignoring my emails regarding this issue!

Lively pub in a good location. As always with whetherspoons the prices are good & affordable. They did however run out of aperol

Well we went for some dinner I got a double burger and my partner got a chicken and bacon panini what a joke it was there was more chicken I a pound bakery pastie and I got about 10 chips with my burger I know it’s cheap but there is a limit what a joke

The former bank in Sheffield is a barn of a place covering two floors, and although known for reasonably-priced liquid refreshments, the menu looked interesting. I'd not been to one for years and by guest, despite being beyond the age of retirement, had never been to a Wetherspoon's before. We went in with an ITVbe expectation but came away having had a surprisingly BBC2 experience! The premises were heaving with a very friendly clientele, all chaperoned by equally friendly and very attentive, efficient staff. I ordered my usual bar fare, the fish and chips and it ended up being the best piece of fish I have eaten in a long time. Beautifully moist and well-cooked fish and nil oil/grease, superb chips and for the first time I can remember, mushy peas that didn't require three glasses of water to eliminate the saltiness. My guest, from the Middle East, was surprised at the sheer quality of the Mediterranean salad, accompanied by an extra portion of tuna mayonnaise that he said was so good he couldn't mix it into the salad, preferring to eat it as a side. We accompanied the meal with a couple of soft drinks, served in a glass (without having to ask for one) and with ice. And for such a bust pub, clean toilets. And all for change out of £20. Love him or loathe him, Tim Martin needs a pat on the back for this Wetherspoon's. Lesson: Never judge a book by its cover.

We visited for lunch and found the place busy. Upstairs was mainly full of younger people, the ground floor with older people. There was a lot of noise. What few vacant tables there were had not been cleared so when I went to order I had to ask specifically to have the table cleared. I ordered ham, eggs and chips and my wife had a jacket potato with three bean chilli. Although I was warned that the plate was hot when it arrived at the table the food didn’t seem particularly hot. My wife didn’t have a lot of chilli, and it was with the potato, not as a filling in the potato. Portions were no more than adequate but probably fair for the price. The meals came with a drink included, and we had coffee. Hot drinks are self service from a machine and with unlimited refills of the mug.

Yesterday 10 of my friends and I went to Whetherspoons for a meal and drink we sat at table 42. The food was great, our order was mixed slightly, Harry sorted everything out for us with no problem at all. The best customer service I've seen in a very long time, thanks Harry and to all the staff it was a very busy day, Saturdays usually are. The place was packed wall to wall yet our food came out together thanks to all the amazing staff there.

Wrong meal brought at first…….peas almost cold, my husbands mixed grill had tough meat, and a mushroom he couldn’t even cut !, Chips almost cold We have had many weatherspoon meals……never this bad

Came in for drinks before a performance at Sheffield City Hall, which is very close by. Classic Wetherspoons really, all seemed fairly decent. Drinks were nice, staff were friendly, and the place wasn’t rowdy.

It was a breezy day, average wind speed 10 knots, coming from an easterly direction. I pulled back on my flaps, lined myself up, and taxied to the bar. I radioed in for a mangolorian curry and was answered in the affirmative. One seated, and seat belted, I engaged my fork into an initial swift descent to swoop in on the soft cauliflower, butternut squash and spinach mixture, before entering into a swift angle of ascent in order for the aforementioned spiced dish to radio in with my tastebuds. My report is as follows: fluffy white cauliflower, dark threatening spinach, areas of poor visibility when entering a cluster of butternut squash followed by a threat of serous turbulence when passing through the altostratus.

Breakfast was very good however plates were cold resulting in food being lukewarm. Staff are very pleasant. Could I suggest a tip box be provided.

After over a year, my relative and I decided to eat out. Foolishly, we chose Wetherspoons. As it was a bit of an occasion, we ordered enough to eat in and then take some home. Upon delivering out food, the staff members commented sarcastically about how much we ordered and then laughed at us. Even if the food had been fantastic, which it was not, those comments spoilt our first outing out together in ages. Wish we'd gone elsewhere.

Called for breakfast which tbh was fine Just felt that they should segregate people that want alcohol at 9am on a Saturday morning The noise they make just isn’t nice When u r trying to enjoy a breakfast and your 6ft away from 8 guys that are rowdy just is wrong at 9am Other point this place needs a smoking area outside away from the entrance Again the noise and smell of smoke is just wrong Food ok Rest awful

Visited here before we went to watch the snooker at the cruicble. Food was horrendous, I ordered the BBQ chicken melt and chips. Chicken was chewy, cheese slice not melted and BBQ sauce layered on thick, tomato raw and peas not cooked properly. My mate wanted the chicken salad but was informed they had run out of salad…. enough said. Worst Wetherspoons I have been to for food. .

Didn't need a full meal so ordered Cheese and tomato panninis for me and my partner. Comes with a soft drink for £6.95. Pathetic portion with no butter.

The new Scarsdale hundred pub. Lovely pub on the old Damons site. Been in today had 2 steaks and a mixed grill, and all three were terrible, the meat was very tough and full of gristle. The steaks were well done!! , pink in the middle. Very disappointed.

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around this part of town when we decided to drop into this Wetherspoon pub and what a great visit. This is a really good Wetherspoon pub,set over two floors, typical Wetherspoon decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub all housed in a magnificent looking building. We were here on a Monday night, I went up the bar and ordered a curry meal each ,we both chose chicken tikka masala and payed extra for the alcoholic drink ,we chose a gin & tonic each,these were delicious, while sipping our G & T's our meals arrived and what a treat. Curry was really good, tender chicken in a rich sauce, rice was tasty,poppadoms crispy and naam bread fresh and soft, a really tasty meal indeed. After we finished our meal and first drink we decided to stay for another and chose a real ale each ,we both went for Greene King Brewery ipa, as members of C.A.M.R.A we got a reduction on the ales on production of our C.A.M.R.A cards and C.A.M.R.A tokens which gave us 50p each off the price of a pint ,a great value for money pint made even cheaper. My ipa was really good, a crisp, well balanced ipa, a big hit of hops, hints of toffee, a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish, a classic British ipa ,so refreshing on a hot night. We moved on after our delicious ipa's and for a first time visit to The Sheffield Waterworks Company Pub we had a great time. The Sheffield Waterworks Company Pub is easy to locate along Division Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 8am till 1am. Friday & Saturday, 8am till 2am. Sunday, 8am till 1am. A wonderful pub,if yours in the area most definitely well worth checking out.

£10 for large &traditional breakfast..loved the range of temperatures from cold to hot 🙄😏. Not worth the money won't be having anymore

Era mediodía. Las manijas de las puertas también estaban pegajosas, lo que no era la mejor señal.El pub tenía un ambiente agradable y acogedor y una apariencia típica de cucharas. Estaba limpio y había algunas mesas disponibles.A diferencia de la mayoría de las cucharas en las que he estado, donde la gente suele venir a comer, la mayoría de los visitantes parecían estar aquí por el alcohol y había bastantes borrachos desaliñados que parecían peor desgastados. El bar estaba abarrotado, pero desafortunadamente solo había una señora sirviendo. Esto creó un poco de scrum a la hora de ordenar, ya que no había un sistema en su lugar.Finalmente pude ordenar (a pesar de que uno de los lugareños me sacudió la cabeza) y nuestra comida fue servida rápidamente. Had the ‘new’ BBB burger.The beef dripping onions sounded good ... as long as they were crispy! They were not!They were like warm... just warm enough to make the bread soggy and unable to hold it’s contents - but cold enough for the dripping to have craggy lumps of lard to stick to your tongue! Chips are not potatoes .... they are formed mash (soggy and tasteless!)Not good!Will I be back .... not likely!

Fui a tomar el té a las puertas de este pub en la plaza Hearthead. Estuvieron cerradas. Tuve que dar la vuelta al frente. Entré. Estaba empacado. Conseguimos una mesa. Had lunch whilst viewing sons uni accommodation,food only just warm,and staff not very friendly,also had dirty cutlery that I had to asked to be changed,the staff snatched them off me,wouldn't go there again

Came here Friday morning for breakfast, wasn't the cleanest pub and same strange clientele in here. Breakfast arrived quickly and was very tasty, toilets were decent here too. Some of the tables needed clearing off and cleaning. Quickly ate and departed.

Solo fui a pedir algunas papas fritas (después de estar en la cola 20 minutos) y la chica de la caja registraba una actitud conmigo solo porque no podía escuchar lo que estaba diciendo, fue muy grosero y me sentí como si fuera ella. estaba hablando en mi contra! Al final no me molesté en pedir ninguna ficha, simplemente me fui.

Was very good breakfast !! Service not good at all knives and forks was dirty very shine because the food was absolutely gorgeous I asked one of the members of the staff can you change my knife and fork please because it is dirty in my opinion have to put a little bit more attention .

As always, Spoons offered value for money in an interesting old building, Love the endless coffee and the quick service which in some spoons is not always the case

We had a drink here on a Saturday night as we were staying nearby and it was what I would expect from a city-centre Wetherspoons. The bar was pretty busy but there were lots of tables covered in empty plates and glasses so it was difficult to find a clean table to sit at. There is the usual range of drinks, including decent craft beer and an excellent range of gins. We observed the staff dealing with one belligerent drunk man and they seemed to handle the situation well to avoid it escalating. We did have to endure X Factor on the big screen though.

Came to this bar on route for a pnb crawl around sheffield on a sunday , the bar staff were very welcoming and served us straightaway. The tables were clean and tidy . Maybe it could do with a refurbishment as it does look a little tired but still a good bar .

The staff are really friendly and helpful didn't have to wait a long time for our order when it arrived it was hot and very tasty

Visited on my own and had a great curry on the Thursday specials deal. It cost £6.20 for curry, naan bread, 2 poppadumms and rice with a m175ml glass of wine. Great curry, excellent value and the staff were helpful and efficient.

Mi amigo y yo vinimos un fin de semana en Sheffield. Vinimos aquí dos veces, una para el almuerzo cuando llegamos y luego otra vez para el desayuno al día siguiente.

Visited with a friend and enjoyed a really good curry,service was very good and staff were pleasant, friendly and accommodating as my friend has mobility issues.Will definitely be visiting again

Immense vegetarian breakfast with free coffee refills. Great price for the beak fast and staff were so friendly and polite.

Decent prices and a nice setting. They served beer and cider and I drank it. Only downside was the toilets were upstairs and I only have short legs and a weak bladder.

Went last week lunchtime big menu plenty to choose from I had the pulled beef burger which was nice and a j20 will come again for another nice meal

Not the poshest and most elegant restaurant in Sheffield but if you want to eat something before/after cinema, shopping or have a half an hour lunch break, it might be a great choice. Tasty food, nice staff, quick service.

Ordered food and drink at sheffield Water Works Sunday. App worked a treat. That were it endeded. We waited 30mins for drinks. Food arrived before the drinks. Spoke to duty manager. She was not interested. "Just arrived I'll try." Great excuse and no results are still no results. Very poor service / Attitude.

Visited yesterday with family, food was excellent, best steak I've had in ages. Had to wait a while to be served but it was really busy, it would have been easier to get served if people didn't hang around the bar once served. Staff were really friendly. Would definitely visit again.

Been many times to this pub and been quite satisfied. My main criticism is that the toilets here are in dire need of renovating. Half the toilets were out of order today and the doors and locks are often in need of repair. Usually Wetherspoon toilets are of a very high standard. Unfortunately, being a city centre pub it attracts a number of unfortunates who are not really any problem but just add to the general shabbiness. Perhaps a general update needed . Lovely food, lovely staff and a cheap bill! They even had my favourite cornish cider Rattler which i cant get in the north west. Great day here. Would come again. And the toilets were clean too!

Called in before lunch. Only 1 member of staff behind bar and didn't acknowledge anyone waiting. Other staff members around but made no attempt to serve customers.

In the very Centre of town and surrounded by other nearby bars and the main attractions this is a good place for lunch if you are shopping or to start a night out which is what we did. Plenty of people inside and the typical great value for money on offer at the bar that you get with this chain.

This was my first - and I have to say - last time at Wetherspoons in Sheffield. I was with a group of four including one person in a wheelchair. We duly went to the rear entrance, which was passable but partially obstructed and rang the bell - twice. Nothing happened. I had to go into the restaurant, find the door and open it myself. They did seem extremely short staffed. There was just one person taking orders for food and quite a queue. We ordered individually so the food came at different times. Indeed the chicken order took so long that the rest of us had already finished before it was served. I strongly suspect they had forgotten the order. I had gammon, eggs and chips. The gammon was shrivelled and burnt, the eggs broken and hard. The chips were good! This is not an experience I want to repeat.

Although we had to wait for a table for five people, we were amazed at the choice on the menu. The food was good and arrived quickly. Drinks and food all reasonably priced and staff were friendly. Could do with a few more tables for groups bigger than four though.

Always meet my friend here , staff lovely, food excellent, it's a nice place to relax have a few drinks, and enjoy the company. Very clean, but what makes this place is the staff, and the customers, and the outside were you can drink and smoke is ideal, . You wouldent believe you were in the city centre. Great place .

All ordered breakfast, 4 of us, on the same table, 2 came out, then 1 came 10 mins later, then the other turned up 30 minutes later and half the stuff was missing and then charged us for 5 breakfasts, and had to wait ages for a refund and for a coffee refill! Breaky wasn't bad, but the service... shocking!

Good prices. Staff spot on. Food edible. Very busy on 2 floors. Decor is worn..seating scuffed and a small section dirty and vandalised. Tables greasy. Drinking glasses worn- no sparkle. Not the sort of place we felt comfortable in. We were however tired and at a loss.

Afternoon drink. Really busy and loud pub. Only had 1 drink as we were looking for somewhere to eat. Would go in for a drink but not to eat.

I met some work friends here last evening and was very disappointed. The waitresses were surly, one meal was cold and had to be sent back and there was a dispute about the refund. The same staff were quite rude at the bar too.My meal was hot but then I was up all night with a bad stomach.Think I will give the place a miss for a few months - pity really as it is so convenient to meet friends here after work.

We visited here on a Sunday and it was very busy but we were served quickly and the food was of the usual good value associated with Wetherspoon and my San Miguel lager was tasty.

Started off in Wetherspoons and made our way across the city. Huge difference in prices for no extra benefits. Most of the pubs we went in didn't even sell bitter. Never heard of that in a pub.

Bra service og veldig rask servering!Koslig rustikk lokale, med et pub-preg. Jeg bestilte dagens suppe(mandag) som var en nydelig hjemmelaget tomatsuppe med masse smak! Kostet bare 2.80 pund og jeg fikk rundstykke og smør! Anbefales veldig. Stikk innom The Oasis på Meadowhall!

Ate here today and was really impressed with the service. The food was super quick to arrive and really tasty. It was busy and a good atmosphere. The bar staff were very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We actually visited in Meadowhall for lunch during a shopping trip my sister helping me choose an outfit for my daughters wedding, our waiter was a lovely young man called Marc "with a C" and he was very helpful and friendly, promptly bringing my sister a glass of water when needed, we enjoyed chicken strips and fries with coleslaw washed down with a nice wine, had a lovely time, nice surroundings, clean and yummy food.

We live in the Appartments block above this establishment and have enjoyed food and drink a multiplicity of times since its ( controversial opening).Tonight we found:Dirty tables ( all three we tried)Broken furniture ( not short term these have been broken a number of weeks)Torn and unfixed carpet in major entrance way ( major trip hazard, injury lawyers be aware)Empty cans on the tables outsideGeneral impression of neglect and poor management.Ohhhh dear whatever has happened her?

Been several times with a group of friends. Quality of meals can fluctuate depending on how busy they are. Drinks, especially the wine very reasonably priced. Only faults there never is enough staff when they are busy and why oh why are the toilets upstairs. The last think I want to do when I have had a couple of glasses of wine is trail up and down the stairs.

One of the best ever meals in Wetherspoons ! Food was awesome and cheap too ! I dont live in Sheffield but now I know where to go and eat next time when I go back to Sheffield ! Also very good and friendly service ..Good job ....

Was in Sheffield and visited this wetherspoons with some friends and when we entered it was a little busy but we managed to get a table you have to order your food at the Bar which is quick and simple. Staff very helpful and food was very nice and good size portions and a good price staff checked to see if all was ok and it was

Called in for a quiet pub lunch and wasn't disappointed. Quite popular venue judging by the large numbers of people but plenty of space in a clean, quiet environment. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.Good selection of beers to choose from the the meal menu had good variety too.

Lovely modern/trendy place, polite & friendly staff, served quickly, food is typical Wetherspoons food, I had the chicken breast burger, had about 7 chips and the meat was so dry I had to take it off the bun to eat it and cover it in mayonnaise. There was no signs upstairs for the toilets, I just had to guess people were goin to them and followed, there was also a leak in the female toilet with water on the floor. Probably the worst Wetherspoons (food wise) I've visited sadly.

Called in at lunchtime for a quick bite to eat while shopping. Decided on "new" chicken and avocado wrap. The wrap initially arrived with chips when I had ordered salad. The waitress was apologetic and took it away returning with salad as requested. I ate the first half of the wrap which contained no avocado but hey ho! the second half had half an avocado tucked at the end. It was rock hard, in fact so hard that my fork could not pierce it. Whoever prepared this knew full well that it was inedible, shame on them! Get it off the menu quickly if you can't find ripe avocados. The waitress was apologetic and offered to replace it but I really didn't want another or anything else for that matter. No offer of a refund. In future my husband will be visiting for a pint on his own. I felt sorry for the waitress who was run off her feet.

Visited this place Sunday 25th October. Staff really unhelpful and totally overwhelmed. All free tables uncleared and filthy with any other available surface also filled with dirty plates and glasses. Very poor from such a large player. Management pretty uninterested and resigned to the chaos.

Way below average food, cheap yes but service is pretty damn crap.. what's the point of coming here for food if everyone eats alone?? We were 3, 1 got her lunch halfway through the second got her lunch.. they both finsihed and I still didn't get my food.. when I went to ask they said its coming.. waited a little longer then cancelled!! Service staff don't care, lazy and food is terrible!!

We were staying in Sheffield for a couple of nights and didn't want to spend too much on food so you can't usually go wrong with Wetherspoons food. I chose to have the rogan josh curry and was so glad I did. What a contrast to our local Wetherspoons! My hubby upgraded for a pound and I'm glad he treated me! It was one of the best curries I had had. I still think about it now it was that good. I was well stuffed by the end of it. We also popped in for breakfast the next morning which is also excellent value.

Wetherspoons new pub in Sheffield Meadowhall is a really lovely pub. Staff lovely, very busy Friday night but all smiles and pleasant to customers. Was told it would take about thirty minutes for food to arrive and it was bang on thirty minutes. Hot and fresh it was Wetherspoons at it's best, our new place to eat at Meadowhall.

Called for breakfast and could not fault, I had eggs Benedict and My husband had a traditional breakfast with a coffee each total cost under a tenner and cooked well and very tasty

I went there with my mum and had cod,chips and mushy peas and mum a meat lasagne it was lovely and I found a free copy of the Star paper too! busy on Saturday afternoon early evening but better than earlier

Huge place that was very busy. Lots of students all enjoying themselves and many afternoon shoppers who seemed to have spent quite a lot of time drinking. Very lively atmosphere and food was great. Took a bit of time to get served, but virtually every table was taken. had a really good time, apart from the loudest lady in England with the worst laugh, but she was enjoying herself. Poor bar staff were run off their feet.

Having endured the battering of our senses in nearby Yates's for an hour or so, we wanted no more than a quiet coffee. For some reason, Sheffield's city centre, certainly in the path we trod, seems devoid of late night coffee places, or even the fast food chains that serve decent and cheap coffee.Fortunately, good old Wetherspoons came to our rescue. It was quiet at the back, the remnants of a few burned out hen party goers, and of course, no loud music. The coffee was served with a smile, and it was really good. There was still food being served at 10.00pm and it looked up to their usual good standards.

Had a really nice evening in here meeting friends and having a meal. Good food and drink. Excellent value for money as always. Thank you!

Visit monthly with friends. It's very very good food. It's pub grub but excellent pub grub. There's not a great deal you can say about weatherspoons, they are all pretty good wherever you go.

Very enjoyable food, a good selection of choice on the menu, including deals which include a drink included plus daily specials. Also a good selection of desserts and starters.
