Western Spice in Southwark

Visited this beautiful restaurant where I was pleasantly surprised at its beautiful surroundings, welcoming and friendly staff. We started with a cocktail from the classic menus which sounded exquisite and was very lovely and presented well. The food itself blew me away, I have never tasted Indian food so delightful, we shared the sandal wood chicken tikka and the kebab platter for starters and wow so delicious then had the slow cooked lamb shank and the purani dilli ka butter chicken with sides of aloo jeera and basmati rice, my taste buds were full of flavour and we both enjoyed, I recommend this place definitely :) and cannot wait to re visit

Fresh authentic food that was full of flavour and great prices. Would highly recommend the chicken tikka and biriyani.

Not too impressed! My partner had a Thali, which was ok, and I had main off lunch time special. Portions weren't for the hungry, although flavour good. Expensive for what we had!

Staff is fantastic and ensures food is made to liking. Excellent service, very accomodating. Ate here 3 nights while on business trip and quality was consistent.

The food was great and the service, a family run business they seem friendly and helpful. would recommend the restaurant.
